First of all, just to make sure you find this place, it's easy to miss, located on the first floor of a bright green apartment building, next to Verbano. You'll find a cramped space with 3 pedicure stations and 3 manicure stations. They seem to make it work but I'd recommend calling ahead since it's such a small space. And yet, even though I called ahead, they took me immediately after I walked in the door, even though they didn't confirm whether or not I had an appointment. While that bodes well for walk-ins, I would have had to wait had someone else walked in before me even though I had an appointment. Still, I received pretty good service there, in that i got exexactly what I paid for, which is a steal, by the way. They have some of the best rates I've seen. For those who are expecting to have a typical relaxing experience where your nail specialist attends to you l? I'd recommend going and learning the names of the different specialists. For example, the customer next to me was offered water when she arrived. Me? No. So definitely not consistent service. It also felt rushed and the specialist made absolutely no eye contact with me. I haven't gotten my nails done at the nail salon in years due to terrible experiences from the past. Going to this nail salon at first and booking my appt was really nerve racking to me because I didn't want to pay for something I didn't like however Oanh did such an amazing job, holy cow. I was sooo surprised that someone actually took their time and cleaned your nails and on top of that listen to my request of keeping the shape square. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I'm really shocked with the reviews here with mainly 5-stars, but I'd say by far one of the most unsanitary places I've been to for getting my nails done. All I remember was her venmo had the name My Tran in it. That nail technician was not using a cuticle stick or pusher to push my skin back. RATHER, she used her OWN NAILS to do so and as if that wasn't sickening enough. When she was using the buffer she snagged my pinky twice, causing it to bleed and when she noticed it was bleeding she wiped it with the towel that was placed under my hands the entire time (which had a lot of nail powder residue on it). I'm not mad with how the nails came out, but seriously just afraid of getting an infection with how they treated my nails. I don't think I'll be coming back here again. read more

I did not have time to do my nails before coming on this trip and I was tired of looking at my crusty nails. Making an apportionment was fairly easy. I did not have a preference to who I want my nail technician to be so they assigned Phuong for me. After booking, I immediately got a confirmation appointment text. Arriving to the shop would be a bit confusing but luckily other Yelpers were very helpful in posting what the shop on the outside looked like. There were very limited metered parking (parking meter only accepts coins). When entering the shop, my nail technician, Phuong, greeted me with such a sweet/ outgoing energy. She was very thorough in what design, length and shape I wanted. I showed her a picture for reference and oh man did she execute it!! Throughout the whole process, she was very gentle and nice. I found this nail salon on Yelp before I went on a quick vacation. We always need a nice mani when we go on vacation. I looked on their website and was able to book an appointment with Phuong! I love when we can make appointments online! It makes life that much easier. Phuong does amazing designs with Dipped Powder Nails. I decided to come back again but wanted a gel. I booked online for gel and had Sang. She does great gel nails. Because of work, short, strong and gel nails are perfect for me. I don't need anything fancy. Cute little nail salon and spa located in Kaimuki. Parking is meter and right now the parking is under construction, so finding parking can be a little tough. The salon itself it's neatly kept and you always feel welcome. This is my 3rd time coming in and Julie, Phuong, and Sang are the friendliest people ever and always remember me when I come in. He had the deluxe pedicure, and I had the organic pedicure. For some reason, it felt like my leg massage went on forever, and he felt like he hardly got a massage. Even with being in the last appointment slot of the day, I did not feel like the service was rushed/felt very well taken care of. Needed some toe pampering and happen to be in the area so we decided to give Blissful a try Its a small shop, just off 12th Avenue adjacent to metered parking located just outside their door. We thought that getting there are 4 p.m. would give them ample time to do a deluxe pedicure. By observation I could tell that many of their customers were regulars They all greeted us as we entered. We were seated immediately and the technicians got to work immediately. My technician was friendly, but seemed to be rushing. Everything was fast..fast..fast, even the massage that we paid extra for. The workmanship was alright, not the best. I was surprised that she didn't even use that thing to separate the toes as some of my toes overlap, not even cotton. And she could have taken more time to smooth the surfaces. That's just my opinion. I was off the chair in less than 30 minutes. You have to park in the metered parking next to the building for find street parking. They are located in the green building if you are in the metered lot there is a pathway to go to the front door. The inside is fairly small, I got there about 5 minutes early but Phoung was still with someone else so she has me sit and choose my color. Never did dip powder nails before they seems to last longer than the gel, it's been 2 weeks and there hasn't been any lifting. Phoung was very sweet and would always ask how I was doing and if I liked the way it looked and asked if I wanted water before we started. Tucked away in the side of a building on Koko Head Avenue, with no real visible sign from the street is one of the best nail salons that we've been to on the island. (I did see a small sign on the corner of the building later) we called at 4:30pm and they had us come in at 5:15. Pretty quick to get in on a Saturday afternoon. I wanted a pedicure and my daughter and niece got dipped nails with extension tips. We were welcomed into the shop and offered a bottle of water (nice touch!). I'll start with my pedicure. The shop is only 2 years old and they have really nice new chairs with massage and attached side tables. They were super comfy. They took the time to make sure that my toe nails were manicured and trimmed very nicely. But the oil and sugar scrub massage was Heaven and just what I needed. They really took a lot of extra time on that! Lastly I was polished with care and accuracy. They really paid close attention to detail and I loved my service there. And pricing was very reasonable. Now the girls brought in photos of what they wanted their nails to look like. It was the first time that they have done the dip style instead of the traditional acrylic nails. I have to say that the process is a lot more pleasant because you're not getting that harsh chemical smell. My daughters nails (pink design) we're done by Sang. My nieces nails (black design) we're done by Phoung. Both of these ladies spent so much time and attention to the detail in their work and the nails came out spectacular!!! I'm torn because the end product was really great and I love how my nails turned out. But during the process it was pretty rough and I got cut a few times as she was drilling/filing down my nails. One cut still hurts pretty bad. This won't stop me from coming again, but it wasn't a super enjoyable experience. read more

I called at 10:00 AM on a Sunday morning, itching to have my chipped and overgrown nails done, and they told me they could take me right away. There are three pedicure stations and three nail tech stations. They have a restroom that you may use-super convenient. I parked out front at the 1-hour max meter. They were kind enough to fill my meter when the time ran out with the quarters that I provided. That's extra out of your way service. I was advised to park in the big lot behind the business. The max there is 2 hours and it is at a lower cost. I was able to book yesterday for this morning, also a nice note -Accommodating. They have an array of services. From mani/pedi to lash lifts. I went for a deluxe pedicure. This includes the paraffin wax treatment. The lady taking care of my horrid feet was attuned to my comfort. She always made sure I was okay with what she was doing and although I have ingrown toe nails, I felt no pain. I left with the refreshing feeling of relaxed feet and calves and sparkling toes. Im ready for the holidays!! I'm a happy camper. Looks like I may have just found my new place. I'm super excited as I've been a lover of everything beauty- especially nails. Hiding in plain sight on the bottom floor, this salon has three chairs for pedicures and three tables for manicures. I love a good close and intimate salon -- upon arrival and checking the place out, I'd imagine this biz would be the perfect spot for a girl's day. I can imagine a bridal party booking the whole place for a #treatyoself day. My most recent visit was for a gel mani and spa pedi (I have messed up heals, lol). These ladies did not disappoint and definitely delivered when I showed them pictures of what I wanted.
