Meanwhile, the school began openly enrolling students while we were left on the waitlist with no communication. The only time we heard anything was when we reached out ourselves, and even then the responses were vague and provided no real information. After multiple calls and emails requesting an explanation and a refund, we've received no response. This lack of transparency and follow-through is unacceptable. The experience left our family feeling uncomfortable with how we were treated and questioning how families are selected from the waitlist. We are still requesting a refund for a process that was never honored. Unethical and a scam business. Reported to the CA Dept of Social Services.

Our biggest priority is knowing our children are loved, supported, and their needs are met--and Springfield has consistently delivered that and more. Both of our boys were well prepared for public school transitions and developed a genuine love of learning. It's clear the staff are passionate about what they do, and we've truly felt like part of the Springfield family. I have a degree in Early Childhood Development and toured many local preschools before choosing Springfield. In my opinion, it is one of the top preschools in the area. Yes, the enrollment process is thorough and tuition is higher than some options, but the quality of care, education, and teacher support makes that clear.

The teachers are warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child as an individual, and the Montessori approach is carried out thoughtfully in a way that makes kids feel safe and excited to learn. We appreciated how present and communicative the staff were, with regular parent-teacher conferences that made us feel genuinely involved in his growth every step of the way. Our son adored his time there and his confidence blossomed in ways we are still grateful for. Their unwavering commitment to creating a nurturing environment for children to flourish, grow, and gain confidence is truly commendable. Which brings you to my story. Earlier this year, I lost my adult son; he left behind my beautiful grandaughter, who now lives with my husband and me. Her world changed from one day to the next, and life as she knew it was different and absent. Being an only child who desperately needed structure and friends, we enrolled her at Guiding Light Montessori. It was a rough 1st week, and when I say rough, that is being softly put! Justine was a Godsend; she gently guided and helped my granddaughter feel safe, welcome, and loved! It didn't take long for that transition to happen because of Justine's genuine heart for the grace of children. These early experiences play a crucial role in shaping our children's self-confidence. My granddaughter has learned to trust that her feelings are respected, welcomed, and loved at Guiding Light Montessori. The education and daily experiences at Guiding Light are beyond measure. I do have to circle back to the tender care the children receive daily. Because of that, the children are open to receiving the teachings. My granddaughter comes home singing and sharing; she wants to do everything all by herself--a true reflection of a Montessori student. I am beyond grateful and feel completely blessed. Thank you, Justine, and every wonderful teacher who helps guide these little people. Your work is truly appreciated! With Sincere Gratatude, Jim and Michelle Service

I come to this as someone who has spent years running licensed care programs under the California Department of Social Services, so I understand both the standards required and how challenging it is to operate a care program well. Because of that, I have a high bar, but also a realistic one. From that perspective, Little Flowers Montessori has exceeded my expectations. What stands out most is the consistency and longevity of the staff, which is incredibly important in a care environment. My daughter is in the Daisy class and has had the same sweet teacher all year long. Ms. Fatima, who has been leading that class for years and is such a gem. She is loving, calm, patient and so nurturing. The children are clearly bonded to her, and that sense of stability has been so reassuring as a parent. The early morning staff are equally warm and welcoming. They always seem so genuinely excited to see the kids arrive each day. Anna, the assistant director who has been there for years and years, is also exceptional. She is friendly, approachable, and extremely responsive. Her communication skills are top-notch, which is enormously important when your child is in the care of others. She provides real peace of mind that everything is being overseen with care and attention. The front desk team is also kind and helpful, making daily interactions smooth and positive. And may I add they provide nutritious snacks and hot lunch at no extra charge! That is a priceless gift to any busy working parent. This alone makes their rates extremely reasonable for the area. While there are certainly newer fancier centers popping up what matters most to me is the heart of a program. At Little Flowers Montessori, that heart is clearly in the people. My daughter is happy, comfortable, and enjoys going to school, and our experience has been consistent and positive. For families looking for a nurturing, dependable environment run by people who genuinely care, I highly recommend Little Flowers Montessori.

Our kids have always felt safe, happy, and challenged, and they've made great friends with some fantastic other LFM WC families. We were amazed at how much they were able to learn in the LFM classrooms. We will miss this special school!

Can't say enough good things about Marnie and Alamo Montessori School…read more My 20 month only son previously enrolled in another local daycare but he was unfortunately removed after 4-5 part time days because he was being "disruptive" and "wanted to be around the caretakers only." This is more than reasonable for a toddler experiencing his first daycare and time away from us in a foreign environment. Before we even enrolled, Marnie and Alamo Montessori School went out of their way to help our son dip his toes in with multiple 15 minute morning sessions to help him feel comfortable with being away and with his new environment. We eventually enrolled our son and while he hesitant initially, Marnie had a great plan in place to keep my son entertained and distracted. After only a couple of weeks, he now loves going and can't wait to get out of the car. Highly recommend Alamo Montessori School! Note: It's a bit hard to initially get ahold of Marnie as she's actively involved in the day care but we got a hold of her through her direct email.

We enrolled our son at 18 months, the youngest age that AM accepts (which is lower relative to many Montessori programs in the area!) While I knew that it would be a big transition for him, I was comforted when Marnie asked us to come see the program in action and let him join in for two short visits prior to our first day. At the time, he was shy, attached, and was behind in his speech. Since then, he has grown into such a confident, personable, and intuitive little boy. I attribute so much of that to AM's approach to learning. They paint, do science experiments, read books, sing songs, and play outside every day. They let the child lead with their interests, but also expose them to experiences that I don't have the patience for (or the willingness to clean up!). He is constantly coming home with new skills, songs and words in his vocabulary. He gets so much focused attention and I can tell that he is incredibly well loved and cared for. We communicate and receive photos through an app, and there are twice yearly "parent teacher conferences" where we get an update on how he is doing. He has thrived under their care. I truly believe that placing him in Alamo Montessori has been one of the best things we have done for him. I am so grateful.
