She instructed a Dance Camp recently, in which the proceeds donated to Saprea, which provides help to children and victims of sexual abuse and trauma. The building is located in the Thanksgiving Point area, down the street from the Younique Building. The building is massive and beautiful, very inviting. The president shared a beautiful story of how this organization started, which inspired my nephew to want to volunteer and share the message. We got to see the auditorium where our "dance recital" was shown over a projector, but the participants were able to get up and be interactive. What a great organization which is so valuable to the community! We need more organizations like this!

Getting together a bunch of women who have lived in secrecy , pain, shame and deep loneliness gave us what we needed as kids. Safety, belonging and a sisterhood of wonderful friends is how we left the retreat. THIS is a legitimate mental health organization, with specially trained therapists. It may seem scary, the unknown, but the truth is if you are unlucky enough meet the qualifications to make it to the retreat, you will be safe, cared for and given the tools to resolve what that abuse has done to your mind, emotions, spirit and body.

They have affordable access to commercial kitchen space, and learn the steps to establishing a successful food business. Every Thursday they offer a set-cost boxed-meal service cooked fresh by a featured entrepreneur. I've been getting their weekly email for sometime now, that reminds you it's time to order the meals of the week. Meals will be available for pick up on Thursday's between 4:00pm - 6:30pm. Each week "Highlights" an international restaurant that is cooking for the week. You have two entre options to choose from (Omnivore and Vegetarian) along with extras to purchase, which is usually a side dish and/or dessert. Meals are around $10 and desserts are around $5.50. 43 miles round trip to get dinner for tonight in the dark, during rush hour, and it was raining. Not a good mixture to pick up meals tonight with the short window for pick up times. I had to leave work early in order to make it on time. I'm glad I did. I really loved the meals I got tonight from "La Pizea Andina" which is Venezuelan Cuisine. Meals were plentiful and tasty. I just which I didn't live/work so far away, and with the short window to pick up meals only on Thursday's, I'm just not able to order weekly like I would like to. It's a great way to enjoy a taste of international cuisine, and support local chefs, and community. I'm so glad I found this meal service. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Each week there is a chef offering food from around the world, aa of now rotating between Burmese, Afghani, Sierra Leonean, Jamaican, Venezuelan, Sudanese, Nepali/Bhutanese, Syrian, Armenian/Russian, Somalian, Indian, and other Middle Eastern cuisine. The price isn't bad, the servings are pretty large, and it is for a great cause! I have really enjoyed the food here, as well. It is very fun to try some food that is not accessible in Utah.

From the moment that I accessed their website, I felt like I'd found the "holy grail" of business support. I have felt welcomed and encouraged. The classes are incredibly informative and helpful. (I am currently in a live-online class called Minding Your Own Business and am taking an online class called Dream Builders - I HIGHLY recommend both!) My mentor is Sarah Barstow, she is dedicated to and has a passion for empowering women in business. Sarah has truly helped me with inspired ideas and enthusiastic support. Because of WBCUtah, I have gained the confidence, and knowledge to take my venture to new heights. Praises to the Women's Business Center of Utah for making dreams come true!

Three stars because the first two years of our experience here was great, the last two; not so…read moremuch. I noticed a serious decline in teacher enthusiasm and then a constant wave of turnover. I noted that the staff was likely underpaid and treated poorly. I also felt that although most of the staff cared for the children, the owner was less focused on the happiness of the teachers, parents and students, and more on how much money she was raking in. During the COVID shutdown, we pulled our child out temporarily, and paid the amount asked to hold our spot for our return. We were never contacted or questioned after that and when we brought him back, we were told that he didn't have a spot in their school because we didn't "complete the SECOND survey they emailed out, asking what our decision on return was" -even though we had already paid to hold his spot. Ultimately, after feeling unappreciated and unhappy overall, we pulled him out. Thinking we would get our money back was apparently giving the owner of this school too much credit, because she refused and said that was our choice to pull him out. I feel as though she's taken this daycare in a distasteful direction and I would be cautious when considering it for your child.

You've found your sanctuary in the Childtime preschools. The administration would rather send those pesky rule-abiding, gentle (read: wimpy) kids away than ask you to actually parent your villain. Boys are taught at this young and impressionable age that girls should be bit if they stand up for themselves, and that it's better to touch first and ask forgiveness never. (Silly parents trying to teach daughters to demand respect. Hahaha!) If this sounds like the hellion who terrifies you at home and that you can't possibly be bothered to parent, then sign right up without delay. We were told that she didn't have to sleep but could bring a book and have quiet time. We had her take a couple of books with her for quiet time. After the first day she told us that she was made to sleep on a cot that was half her size and when she would open her eyes that the "teacher" would tell her to shut her eyes. When we brought this to their attention we were just told that kids aren't required to sleep and that kids are told to be quiet. The issue was not properly addressed. The facility is advertised as a place of learning but show very little in that regard. There was also issues with the billing amounts. We have since got our daughter into another place and she loves it there and is excited to go, where she dreaded going here.

Their staff is loving and caring, the installations are great and clean, the management staff is also amazing and caring. I really appreciate their help with basically co-parenting with me. They send reports of whenever anything happens to your baby, call you when needed, communication was never a problem. I was super sad once I had to move towns and unfortunately couldn't keep on bringing my baby cause it did feel like an extra family, the teachers were so loving and that is something as a mom you really look for in the people with whom your child is gonna spend most of his time besides yourself. One of the nicest things was getting to see the crafts my baby would do very often at daycare, pictures they would print and decorate or do something nice for holidays and other special days. Love them and would use them again if I live closer again!

My girls LOVE the teachers there and I personally love the staff. They are very selective in who they hire, which alone says alot. Angie, Ashley, & Amanda always update me on anything that goes on while my girls are in their care. They are Ginuwine, honest and caring and it shows. I'm VERY picky when it comes to who watches my babies and these ladies make me feel really comfortable which is a MUST! They go by the book and then some. I love how organized and clean they are, & the communication is suburb. I do "Pop ups" and randomly sneak in to see how things are going in the classroom when the parents are "unexpected" and I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. I go by people's vibes and I can tell if someone is Ginuwine or not. These women are very Ginuwine and honest. If an incident occurred with your child, they let you know exactly what happened, how it happened, What time it happened and what they did to comfort your child. The staff is very well trained and definitely hand picked. The owner and managers all have kids and they all go there which is a really good sign. The staff have been there for years, they have well balanced meals, excellent learning activities, and well put together daily schedules. Courtney has been there for 20 years and she is the sweetest lady ever, Jaime knows everything about every child and gives these kids a lot of one on one attention. Summer is a gorgeous young lady that was born to care for young kids, she's super mature. Hailey has patience like no one I know, I witnessed it first hand at the kids Christmas performance (which was amazing btw). Jasmine is such a sweetheart, her and my daughter share a special bond, its adorable. Lora was my daughters previous teacher and she LOVES her, she calls her "Flora" so now I call her flora whenever I see her. I will never leave this place nor will I ever find a daycare that will care for my babies the way this daycare does. 1 million golden stars to the owner and Managers that make this daycare the way it is, I wouldn't change a thing about it. P.S. I don't remember all the names of the staff, the ones mentioned are the ones that stand out to me from my girls experience.
