I've had two bad experiences with Eagle Ridge GM's service department. July 23, 2024 - I was told an oil change would be $99, but when I arrived, they said they only offer a more expensive "bronze package." I later found out an employee was fired for doing this to other customers. June 26, 2025 - I brought my vehicle in to fix a problem. Instead of repairing it, they charged me $178 for what they are now calling a "diagnosis" -- which was never explained to me at the time. I left with the same problem I came in for. They also falsely claimed I "went elsewhere" for repairs, which is untrue. They promised me a refund in writing. I gave them plenty of time, but they have ignored all of my follow-up emails. I've since filed complaints with GM Canada, the Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Protection BC. I do not trust this dealership to work on my car again. If you value honesty and clear communication, go elsewhere. read more

We purchased the Titanium Protection Package from Eagle Ridge Chevrolet expecting peace of mind. But when our 2024 Equinox EV suddenly ran out of charge at night in a remote area, no one from their so-called 24/7 roadside assistance answered -- despite many calls. We were left stranded for hours with our young child and had to arrange help ourselves. This was extremely stressful, disappointing, and unacceptable. We paid for a service that completely failed when we needed it most. Shameful experience. read more

My first experience with Eagle Ridge Chev wasn't a great one when trying to purchase a new SUV in the summer. In fact, I left in tears, so the fact that I came back for their service/oil change makes me really question my own decision making, but here we are. I purchased my 2021 GMC Acadia in May from Carter GM and had an amazing experience with them. I was due for an oil change so booked through the app. Eagle Ridge was the soonest appointment so I took it thinking things would be different this time. Booking through the app was a great experience! Gave me all kinds of options and add ons - I took the tire rotation as my app told me I needed a tire rotation in 3k anyways so figured this was close enough. Upon booking the app gave me a promo deal for $69.95 for a full oil change and $43 something for a tire rotation. Great sounds like a solid price. When I arrived at the service centre they couldn't find my booking at first and they mentioned their computer system wasn't great. The check in took probably 20 minutes which seemed a little ridiculous. The advisor that the receptionist transferred me to truly seemed like he hated his job/life. He was not friendly at all, barely made eye contact, and seemed like me being there was a general inconvenience. He tried to upsell me on the bronze package and I told him I had a $69 deal through the app. He said okay, did a calculation and told me that mine was a better deal than theirs which I had already established, but thanks for the validation anyways. The only good thing about the experience was that my vehicle was done very quickly. However that was overshadowed by the fact that their parking lot is chaos and they left my vehicle in a super precarious position that required me to back out around the perimeter of the lot navigating my large suv around random vehicles parked everywhere with no rhyme or reason. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was presented with an invoice that was double what I was expecting and what I was quoted. They told me that in addition to the oil change I was charged $68 in parts and that the price I was quoted for the oil change included literally just the oil. I think they thought this was the first time I've ever had an oil change. I asked for someone to look at this because it was absurd. After about another 15 minutes some manager randomly discounted my invoice by $35 and I accepted it as it was the original price we had talked about and just wanted out at this point. While I was in the service centre, I experienced one man come in irate as his vehicle was having mechanical problems after a service they had performed the day before, and another man going over the invoice saying that it was double what he was quoted yesterday (I glanced over and the invoice was 24k, so we're not talking pennies here) with no discussion that the bill was going to be more. All in all it seemed like some super shady business practices taking place here and I'll wait the week to go to Carter and risk seizing my engine next time over coming back here. Absurd charges for a diagnostic. Just to say that he suspects the problem Is... not even a guarantee. Don't waste your time here So made the huge mistake of taking the car back here for a separate issue that warranty says will cover. After a diagnostic, transmission is leaking fluid, I could of told them that. Solution they gave is they will take off pan. Reseal it. Mr lube is quoting me less for the same job. And guess what. recently had the misfortune of visiting Eagle Ridge GM, for their bronze package oil change, the following essential tasks were neglected: Tire rotation not performed Windshield washer fluid not filled Antifreeze not checked or filled Corrosion on the battery was not inspected or addressed After paying 172.00 dollars and not receiving the proper service, I tried to call the service advisor, no one answered the phone, I kept calling few times every single day for a week, no one answered the phone, left numerous messages for the service advisor, he did not care to call back. The service advisor failed to communicate , and the workmanship was subpar. I was very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of attention to detail and not being able to talk to anyone. The next day, I called the sales department, Ideen, a courteous and professional representative, he promptly responded to my concerns and informed me that he is going to look for the service advisor or the service manager. He called back 15 minutes later and stated that he found the service advisor Rauj and the service manager Firaz Zin, Ideen also stated that he has explained the issues and my frustration over past few days for not being able to talk to anyone, Ideen indicated that service advisor and his manager agreed to call me to discuss resolution. Unfortunately, Ideen's efforts to resolve my issue were unsuccessful. Despite his promise, the advisor or the manager failed to call me. I'm disappointed in the lack of follow-through and lack of customer service. read more

We flew into abbotsford from Calgary and an eagle ridge employee picked us up at the airport (no charge), they also gave us some gas cards to help with expense. and even after we got home and we had questions, Pi was quick to respond and help us out. BEWARE!! 1) The sales person Tony and financing lady Shannon are liars and will say anything to get you to buy a vehicle. They took advantage of a single mother in desperate need of a RELIABLE car. The only request I had when I came in to purchase my vehicle was that I needed warranty so I could get free servicing. I PAY EXTRA monthly so I can receive free servicing on ALL issues except brake pads. I found out last week when I had an issue with my vehicle that their servicing centre DOES NOT service Kias. I have still been paying monthly for this extra "Warranty" that apparently does nothing. *** IF YOU BOUGHT ANYTHING THAT IS NOT GM OR CHEVY THAN YOUR WARRANTY WILL NOT WORK*** 2) APPALLING SERVICE. When I went to my appointment to get my brake light fixed and winter tires put on they lady in the service centre told me that their tire machine broke and that she forgot to call me. She also let me know that they actually don't service Kias and she didn't understand why EAGLE RIDGE keeps telling their customers this! I went over to Eagle Ridge and received no help. The manager was too busy. It took 3 calls to finally get a manager on the phone 6 hours later!! They said I would have to speak with Shannon. When Shannon replied to my email she said I would have to speak with someone else. I have left voicemails, went into the dealership again and left emails and no one has cared to speak with me. Because of their mistake I missed 2 days of work trying to find somewhere that could fit me in for tires last minute as I was driving up to Penticton to see my son that weekend. I lost 2 days of wages and I PAID to get my brake light fixed when it was supposed to be under warranty. Again, no offer for a loaner car, no offer for reimbursement... NOTHING! It is Tuesday evening now and has been 5 days since this problem and I have only heard from managers telling me to speak with someone else or that they will "get back to me". It's funny because before I purchased the vehicle and within the first month I couldn't get them to stop asking me how the car was and if there was anything else they could do. Now that its been over 1 month (not much over) it's like my purchase means nothing to them. I will be letting as many people I know about my experience and am currently speaking with a lawyer. I brought my car here to fulfill a recall on the ignition from a class action lawsuit. A few month later the ignition failed and my key was stuck in the ignition. I called to make an appointment and had to wait 3 weeks just to bring my car in. While booking the appointment, the person on the phone started right away with finding other problems to blame it on so that I would have to pay for ALL repairs myself and not be covered by the recall. When I finally was able to bring my car in, the person at the service desk also started to come up with a list of ridiculous excuses to cover up the fact that the ignition they put in my car was defective. He told me they would have to "Investigate the issue" and they would have to charge my $140 (then taxes too) just for the "Investigation" if the problem wasn't the ignition... There is nothing wrong with the key, it is new. There is nothing wrong with the parking gear lock, I can feel it working/unlocking. It is the IGNITION! The key is stuck in the ignition. Those are the facts, you can draw your own conclusions as to what they would have done to me next if I had not told them I will go to another GM dealership and tell them what has been going on around here! read more

The prices for service here are exceptionally high. They will bleed every penny they can out of a customer. $70.00 to install a new battery before they could use their diagnostic machine. They originally wanted to install one of their batteries after telling me one of my cells was dead at a cost of $300. I had B&J Parts deliver a new battery at less than half that price. Then Eagle Ridge wanted $70 to install it. I could have done it myself, but this was during COVID, I am disabled and had no way of getting to there to install it myself. Installing a battery on my vehicle takes less than 10 minutes. The average mechanic's labour charge is around $45-$50, an hour at the time of writing this. Personally I could never in good conscience, consider charging anyone $70.00 to install a battery, especially when I know the standard fee in place for simply connecting a vehicle to the diagnostic machine is around $140.00. I am a senior on disability, and there is a COVID crisis in effect. Eagle Ridge GM is ruthless. read more

Shortly after that, someone named Ed Kihn who is the service manager of Eagle Ridge reached out to me and offered me to resolve this issue by a full refund. But, I didn't get anything or even a proper answer even after sending another follow-up email. Totally disappointing and unacceptable. Please keep that in mind if you want to use their services, don't trust them cause they don't respect customers time and money, also they pretend to have a fair customer service but it is not true! They even didn't adjust tire pressure (based on my car before & after rotation indicators). Lover of GM Cars but not of Eagle Ridge Chevrolet car dealer in COQUITLAM! I phoned recently to have my car in for servicing and the fellow on the other end when asked when I could bring in my car for servicing said that I needed to listen to him. After a few other rude comments from him, I asked to speak with with the manager. It took 4 requests from me to get him to transfer me over, and when I was finally transferred, went to the wrong person. Unintentional or intentional I'm unsure? I've had problems before with the service staff at Eagle Ridge Chevrolet and this time, I gave up and went to another dealership. They should take a lesson in customer service from Starbucks or a company that gets how customer service works. Will never go back again. read more

We booked an appointment to test drive an electric car. When we got there we were told we would have to order a car in order to be able to drive it! Who in the world buys a car without test driving it first, I asked!? He told me that the cars on the lot were all sold, so could not be test driven ... that's understandable. So why did they book us a test drive appointment??? The car the manager drives is the exact model we were looking to purchase and the manager said no to a test drive! Ridiculous !! Do the managers not drive the cars for free, and it also allows the customer to test drive cars that may not be available!? The answer is yes. We have lived in Port Moody for 20 years and were considering switching to a Chevy. This experience has put us off! if that's the way the dealership STARTS a financial purchase, we want nothing to do with it! I am certain they will call back and offer a test drive, but we already booked and showed up for that. What a waste of time after two professionals long work days! read more

Not a good experience buying a vehicle from them. They will trick you to get a down payment. I was told the vehicle was serviced: but after receiving payment they handed me a broken key of the vehicle telling thats it. I had to buy fob and keys at another location. Engine, break and other oils were also not changed. Wheals were also not balanced. I had to spend a grand to fix it all. They will also push you for tire and other insurance but I didn't trust them. read more

Greasy con artists - in the end I had this horrible feeling of being taken advantage of after buying a truck from them. They had a good selection of used pickup trucks, and I needed a cheap 2wd half ton for work, and they had one that seemed to fit the bill. I expressed interest, and was directed to a very convincing salesman who played the down-to-earth role very well. We looked at the truck, the price was at the top end of what I had budgeted, and was missing a tow package, he said he could have their shop put one on and include it in the original price. I asked about the Nitrogen sticker in the window. He says they fill the tires of all the cars they sell with nitrogen when they arrive, because it performs better. Interesting - I hadn't heard of that, but it sounded like a nice touch. I had a good feeling about this place. Ok, I needed a truck right away for work, so I took the chance and said I'd buy it. He said, their mechanics first had to replace the brakes first and tune it up a bit - it would be 4 days. More of a delay than I wanted, but thought that was great they would include new brakes. I gave the $1500 down payment he asked for and arranged to come back 4 days later. Since I was coming from farther away, I had to pay my apprentice to come along with me and drive our other truck back (it cost me a lot of money to shut down work for the day to pick the truck up). I get there 4 days later and the trailer package isn't installed - I ask about it, and he said they could put one on, but it would be another 4 days and another $500. He explained that because they put on new brakes, they couldn't include the hitch receiver installation in the price like he had said he would when I paid the deposit. That felt greasy - Ok, so on a $4500 vehicle, I need to pay another $500. I elected to buy a kit from Burnaby Hitch and install myself. A bit ticked off because I needed to tow a trailer the next day, which meant I had to spend money to rent another truck until I got the tow kit installed. We go to the office so I can pay the balance of the truck, and there it is. Invoice - $4500 for the truck. $500 documentation service. $300 Go Green. WTF is a 7% Go Green fee, and WTF is an 11% documentation fee????? 18% hidden fees AFTER paying a deposit!!!! And of course the hidden fees are all taxed as well! He explained all dealerships charge a documentation service and that is a reasonable price. Go Green is the charge they have for filling the tires with Nitrogen! $300!!! If you fill tires with nitrogen when a car arrives on the lot before you put a price tag on it, the nitrogen obviously should be included in the price tag. They don't give you a choice whether you want it or not. I've bought 6 vehicles from used car dealerships and never had to pay a documentation fee - anyone else I've asked said sometimes a dealership will ask $150 for one, but will always discount that if you ask. $500 these guys charged because they knew I'd already spent hundreds to cancel a day of work and pay my apprentice to help me pick it up, and I had told him that we needed it for work the next day. When I said I didn't want to pay an extra 18% in hidden fees (none of that was shown on the invoice when I paid the deposit 4 days earlier) he got angry and said that's fine, then leave. I was so bewildered, I started walking out of the building and this guy in a suit who'd been watching me hovered over to me like a vulture, and put an arm on my shoulder, talking in a soothing voice: "hey, I hear you've been upset by a misunderstanding and I want to make you happy with our service, let's sit down and talk about how we can fix this". Soooo greasy! He said "what if I give you $150 or how about maybe $300 in free gas cards, would that make the experience better"? I was so disoriented, and we had a huge job the next day I needed the truck for, so agreed (it would still be 11% more than the agreed price if I discounted $300 in gas cards). I went back into the first salesman's office and he had calmed down and said I got a really good deal and it was a really good truck. Afterward I went back to the gas card guy and he gave me $150 in gas cards - he said that he said "maybe" about the $300. I felt so taken advantage of about the whole thing. Then I brought the truck to my trusty mechanic, he said the just did a patch-up on the brakes and that they were very dangerous as-is. Another $600 a week later! read more

OK first off i have to say my original experience with this dealership a few years back was way beyond awesome, BUT recently i'm rather disappointed and frankly ticked off. A long story short, my husband and i where cold called for what we where told to be someone they had wanted our model how we had it , and they wanted it on short notice. We where promised many things if we would just come down to the dealership and trade in our car. My husband went down sat for 3 hours waiting on the manager to sort out what had happened only to leave with no information. This was the first thing to tick us off since we live in surrey and are on a tight budget so waste of gas.The only reason we ever went to Eagle Ridge is because of one sales person who has always dealt with our family but has since moved. We then spent the past 2 days trying to get answers as to what is going on. In the end we get a credit check and then they tell us they have lost or original file and that we where in short lied to so the cold caller could get a sale. Don't get me wrong the manager was doing his best to help sort it out and i wouldn't have cared if it was a regular cold sales call. What i don't appreciate is the lie in order to get a sale and the fact that it took days to sort our this guys mess all the while wasting our time and money. read more

My wife and I purchased a 2013 Town and Country. No pressure, friendly service. Our Sales person Gagan was very accommodating and worked hard to ensure we got what we wanted and left happy. The manager Pat was also very friendly and helpful. We had a terrible experience and Maple Ridge Dodge a few years back and were very apprehensive on our next Dealer purchase. Our only issue was the Used Town and Country Vans they have are ex-lease and are not equipped with Bluetooth (Uconnect). When realizing this after we purchased, we were obviously disappointed, as anyone would expect the T&C would be fully equipped. This was a potential deal breaker for us. We were under the impression it would cost 150$ to have the Bluetooth activated. Nope, its more like $650-$800.I don't feel we were misled, more like our sales guy (one year in Canada) was mistaken. Pat and Kathy the Management team serving us were totally understanding of this, and offered to have it activated for us. Anyone who has dealt with any Major Dealership would agree, getting $600-800 out of them after the final price negotiation is next to impossible. Not here, very accommodating and concerned about our experience with Eagle Ridge. The UConnect system should be installed Next Tues. If it doesn't happen, I will be sure to post here again with a lesser rating. For now, very pleased. read more

Helped a neighbor friend of mine buy a car. She is an elderly lady and widowed, never had to buy a car for herself so I agreed to help her as requested. These guys have not followed through on their word. Gagan the salesman originally offered three months of gas, then gave her 2 gas cards for $50. He told her he would teach her how to work the buttons in her car and never did. He told her he would fix the paint chips/scratches on the driver's side and never did. Today I called Pat the sales manager who was very rude because I couldn't spell or say the last name (it's very greek). He said he wouldn't talk to me and was trying to understand what the problem was. How much more clear can I be? read more

We just bought a 2016 jeep Cherokee at this dealership last week Friday. We took it for a test drive and looked at all the specs before purchasing it. We were told that the vehicle was in perfect condition and that it was looked over and inspected before placing it on the lot. This was NOT the case in our situation. As we drove the vehicle home from the lot (we live about 25 minutes away), the engine light came on. We brought it to the nearest jeep dealership and they replaced the sensor that was needed. All covered under warranty. Two days later, we are driving and the engine light goes on again as well as the vehicle powers down. We had to get it towed the jeep dealership at this time. We were told by them that the vehicle is unsafe to drive and we cannot drive it. They had to order parts. We were told that they had to replace the engine harness and that they have been damaged for a long time. Our concern was that we were told that the car is in perfect condition and the safety specs came back good. Basically they LIED to us. They clearly did not look under the vehicle when they received it because they would have seen it right away. We wanted to see what the dealership would do for us considering that we spent a lot of money on the vehicle and had to take time off work due this situation. They said to us, well once you drive it off the lot, its not our problem and only offered us a courtesy car when the jeep was in the shop. We were not looking for physical compensation, but a possible reprimand of the vehicle inspector, an apology or something along those lines. We only got an apology after being prompt and calling back again. They never even cared about their customers after they leave the lot. I'm glad that the jeep is up and running again, however, I cannot and will not promote this company in anyway since they lied to us and will not own up to their mistakes. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. These guys sold me a car that turned out not to have the equipment as advertised to me. When asked I was told to pay more to have it installed even though I already paid for it in the purchase price. They also promised to send me a 2nd fob which obviously never arrived. The worst part is when I asked the salesman about these items he completely ignored me and won't return my contact attempts. An extremely cowardly and unprofessional way to deal with a customer. Sadly this is exactly why car salesmen get a bad rep. Eagle Ridge GM lack any integrity at all and I would strongly recommend you steer way clear of this company. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. If I could give negative stars I would. We went to purchase a new truck and put our (custom) order in close to the end of March. We were told it would take about 6-8 weeks. Multiple phone calls and messages asking for an update were completely ignored. Finally at 13 weeks of waiting I asked to speak with the sales manager. Completely useless. The attitude of these guys is unbelievable. Arrogance like I've never seen in a salesman. They act like they are doing us a favour by letting us spend $50K at their dealership. Finally got the truck mid Sept. Yeah it apparently takes 6 months to get a custom order. I contacted GMC Canada but that was useless too. After assurances from GMC Canada and the dealership that they would "make sure we're happy" and that they would make it up to us again there was nothing until I specifically asked what they were going to do to make it up to us. Seriously multiple people at the dealership said they would make it up to us then did NOTHING to amend the original offer until I asked what specifically they were doing for us above what we had already negotiated for. And then it was only about. $500 discount. Big frikkin deal. When we were finally able to pick up our new truck it was missing the tonno cover, the tire locks, and the floor mats... That's what we've discovered so far there might be (likely is) more missing options that we had paid for. WORST buying experience ever. If you really want a GMC vehicle go to a different dealership where they will actually act like they appreciate your business, you won't get that at Eagle Ridge. Especially not after you've given them your deposit. If it had been up to me I would have told them to screw off long ago. I'm recommending to the people I know to avoid Eagle Ridge Motors. My experience there was quite unpleasant. I'm writing this review to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Negative Points: The disempowered sales staff, the deliberate mismanagement of important vehicle documents, I assume to further ensure that the sale staff can't provide the relevant and pertinent documents themselves. It had an overall arrogant and deceitful atmosphere. One of the sales persons admitted to me that they don't always honour their internet advertised prices, and they even tried the old -Docs/VSA mandatory fee- trick on me. It was like something out of the 60s. Also every step of the negotiation process was designed to rope you into making a subconscious commitment to buying the vehicle, and needlessly complicate the process. Or any acknowledgment on their part that there was a more competitive price. Also while I was there I hear another customer come in and complain that parts were missing on the car he had ordered. Good Points: They had a play area for the kids, but I can't vouch for how well they clean it. And no I did not buy the car. I just got fed up and left. read more

CROOKS! So I went to buy a truck off these joker's,I was leaving that day for Alberta for work and needed to go in a hurry. They found me truck that was way over my budget and lied to me about the warranty,I was told that the engine and transmission was covered for 5 years but found out this was lies.My light's went a few days later and the expensive warranty I bought didn't cover this. They added in all sorts of coverage and insurance that bumped up the price but for the most part is useless to what I needed. When I called after to ask about the warranty I got a rude woman on the phone who basically sniggered and said "I should have read the fine print". Learn from my mistakes and take your time with your purchase and at all costs avoid these lying crooks. read more

The Spot Delivery becomes a scam when, a dealer tells you that your approved for a car loan at a certain interest rate and term and they absolutely know upfront, there is NO WAY you will qualify for the car loan as written. The dealer has you sign all the papers and take delivery of the vehicle, meanwhile knowing they will call you back in the future telling you, "You're financing fell through", and try to force you to put more money down or buy the car for a longer term or higher interest rate. Since the dealer let you take the car prematurely, this will take you off the market and allow you to fall in love with the vehicle. Believing you just bought a car, you will, of course, show it off to your friends and family. The dealer will use this emotional attachment of your new car to their advantage when they call you back at a later date and tell you, "Your financing fell through". This is when they'll start to work you for more money or try to sign you for a longer term or higher interest rate if you want to keep the car. Don't let this happen to you!! Great sales team, but the problem was with the service and warranty team. It really feels like the second you drive the vehicle off the lot it's your problem and they'll try to gouge you where ever they can. Ever since buying my truck I told the team that the brakes felt weird and to look at the, they said they where fine multiple times over the next 3 scheduled oil changes then all of a sudden I need to get my brakes completely re-done for 1400.00, it really felt like there was a issue that they knew about but ignored me , let it get worse so they could get me on completely redoing my brakes. Then I had someone hit my mirror and cracked the housing so I asked them how much it would be and they told me 700.00 so I thought I'd ask around and I got it fixed by another dealership for 250.00. Also they kept phoning my wife rather then me over the next 6 visit after we kept telling them to phone my number, it took my wife snapping on them to finally stop phoning her instead of me. Couldn't even get that figured out. Also we requested that the truck get detailed and washed after they're done working on it and all these requests have been ignored. They treat customers like they don't know anything and are dumb. Would recommend Eagle Ridge GM sales department but I wouldn't recommend there warranty/service centre at this location read more

So we chose a truck got in the finance office and she said because it was Sunday the banks were closed, she would get it figured out on Monday. They wanted us to fully insure the truck and take it pending approval ( I absolutely refused ). So Monday comes and no call, my wife calls her and she says she is still working on it. My wife then gets an email from Equifax about some credit alerts, yes alertS. She logs in and WOW, not one but 6 credit checks, we've bought a few cars in our day and not one place did 6, they do 1 and share it. So at this point we're done dealing with them, my wife has started they inquiries with Equifax and the BBB. The sales guy calls me to ask if we were buying, he was "unaware" of what happened, I explained why we would never. Next day the finance director calls me trys to smooth things over and he's found a truck that would work for us, I listen just to amuse myself. The wife and discussed it further and decided well they've already screwed our credit so can't really go anywhere else, let's do it (against our better judgement of course). I call the finance guy,.no answer so I leave a message. I call the sales guy, no answer so I leave a message. The day goes by and no call back, so I text the sales guy and said I wanted to buy it, wow would you know it, he called back within seconds. Said he was away and would have someone call me tomorrow. The day goes.by and no call till around 6pm, it's the finance guy, says the "deal has changed and they would not honor it". I said some stuff and said goodbye. I called back to speak to the big boss, left a message and would you believe it, NO CALL BACK. I let the sales guy know and he said when he got back in to town he get it dealt with, that was a week ago. NEVER WILL I EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE OR KEY WEST FORD. read more

Took my car in for service....one of the problems was the "check engine" light was coming on intermittently. After spending over $2,000.00 for the service, within a week the light was back on, when we called to complain, we were told that we could bring it back in for service, that would take 2-3 hours of labour. They nickel; and dime you to death on the bill, never before had a service department charge for a "road test" to see if they fixed the problem ($20.00), also had another small problem, my husbands car when it had this problem the Chrysler dealership fixed at no charge, This place charged $35.00 for it. These guys did some transmission work and brakes for me. Take my truck back and there are new creaks and noises. Told me there were rust spots on my roters (but they just did my breaks...?) Take it back. They say I need a break booster(?) Cost me $500. Still squeaks and noises. Break booster was working fine before, but they guaranteed it would fix all noises. After going back 3-4 times about this, I went for a road test with a very hostile, shop forman, "Vince". You could see he was raging before he even got in the car. Sorry, I have been here 3 times now and without my vehicle for weeks, so you need to come for a road test with us and hear what I'm hearing. Refused to acknowledge/ hear the noises and became very aggressive. When we would speak, he repeatedly shouted, "STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP, OKAY!? STOP!!" We were flabbergasted and said nobody here is raising their voices at you, we are trouble shooting what the noise could be. Again, "STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP!!!" He became so frustrated he tried jumping out of our moving car 3 times! We finally stopped at a safe place to pull over so he could get out and he slammed the door so hard we thought the glass would break. Shaken up, we drove back to Eagleridge and went and spoke with the Service Manager who was extremely professional and listened to our concern re. the vehicle and in under 2 seconds, diagnosed the noise problem and went for a road test with us to confirm. Wow. Someone who actually knows about GM vehicles. We were so surprised he knew exactly what was wrong so quick. We were very satisfied with this answer and now know it can be easily repaired although they did not offer to. Still contemplating what to do about the abusive behaviour and extra fees we endured, but this place will never get business from us again. read more

Friendly staff only until you put a deposit/cheque. Rude and aggressive management. They never mentioned the car only comes with one key, and they refused to order one after taking the deposit. Also when I first checked out the car it was rainy and dark so I didn't see a dent on the car. They never disclosed it either. Only found out about it after I brought the car home, contacted them right away only to face their ignorant sales person and management. Stay away from Debby, she's the worst sales ever. And Bob, he never listened to what I had to say and instead aggressively and defensively responded in a very rude way. Worst shopping experience in a while. read more

Worst customer service I have received in years.had my sub serviced then realized a air intake hose ( auto stalled and would not start) and bolts completely missing.called for service on a sat.they said they had no bolts call back Monday! Went in they repaired but did not acknknowledge their negligence or offer refund or even a future oil change.this company needs to step up!,,in this day and age customer service is crucial as social media will bite.why do I need to talk to a manager they should be very apologetic to me!,,,, read more

A few months after I bought my car the stereo had to be replaced. Since it was a new car it was still under warranty it was done at no cost - I just had to travel to the US (they warned me this would be the case but at the time I thought "the car is new... What could go wrong?"). There were a couple other things so I sent the manager an email - one of the issues was a slow leak in a tire and another was that they only gave me one key. I got ZERO response, however, began to get lots of mail trying to get mento upgrade my vehicle. Now, in Sept I will have had the car only 2 years and the battery is completely dead. Tried to recharge it but no luck - it needs to be replaced. Still under warranty but not sure how to get a car with a dead battery down to Bellingham. Thought about contacting the dealership but since I got absolutely nothing from them last time I don't want to waste my time. Just thought others should know what to expect from this dealership. My wife and I came here last week to trade in her mustang and get a cross over. The sales manager Dennis greeted us and went over meticulously with us all of our options. I knew after 10 minutes we were going to buy from Eagle Ridge. We told Dennis our needs and like an enter button on a computer Dennis knew exactly what we wanted. We told him our price range and he never tried to work beyond it. We were then introduced to one of the kindest car salesman I have ever met with Sean. Sean showed us many different options within our price range and I never felt he was pushing us into a sale. I have bought many cars over the years from dealers and I have to laud Sean as the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. If you want to debunk all those fallacious myths in regards to dealerships, come to Eagle Ridge Chevrolet in Coquitlam Ask for Dennis and Sean and then enjoy your new ride home. read more

Worst experience with a dealership in my life. Was refused the opportunity to buy the truck I wanted just because I requested a third party inspection. Went in on a Saturday, but they wouldn't negotiate the price with me to fit my budget (cash purchase) so I left without leaving a deposit. Thought about it that night and went back Sunday morning with a higher offer only to find out the truck had another interested buyer who had left a deposit. I was allowed to make an offer, which I thought they had accepted as I was asked to initial some paperwork, and then I left a deposit. Later that day I received a call from the manager, Bryan Habermann, telling me the first deal didn't go through and the truck was available, but I couldn't buy it because his boss didn't like my offer. I don't even believe there was another deal in place - I think they were leading me on, trying to force me to match the imaginary "first buyer"s offer. Instead of saying sorry and asking if I wanted to come and talk about it some more, he simply said "come get your deposit refunded", end of story. I was extremely disappointed. I went in there and asked for a copy of the document I had signed that morning. I also asked to speak to Bryan's boss, and Bryan's response to that was "I am the boss". Wow, buddy. He then admitted that his boss wasn't in and he had been communicating with him by text message. Again, wow. Bryan had told me in the morning when I signed the document that he had phoned his boss, leading me to believe my offer was accepted, but then they turned around and declined it. Bryan left to get the document but never came back. While waiting I spoke with the salesman, Charlie, nice guy, who said he wanted to make this work for me but he has virtually no power (what is the point of salesmen when they can't actually do anything for you??). Bryan eventually comes back and says "the truck is yours, let's do this" except I had been denied opportunities to test drive the vehicle on Saturday and Sunday because it was "getting washed" or whatever other crap excuses they had. So my response to Bryan was "whoa, I haven't even driven this thing yet, plus I said I wanted to do a third party inspection." Bryan said no way, no third party inspection (this is a 10 year old truck I am looking at buying) and he said the deal is off if I want it inspected and forced me to take a refund on my deposit. He then walked away and never spoke to me again. Rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my life. If they won't let me get the vehicle inspected, or even drive the damn thing, then they clearly have something to hide. I am extremely disappointed that I wasn't given the opportunity to buy this truck, as it was the perfect vehicle, exactly what I was looking for, and looked clean so I was confident it would pass the inspection, but as it is 10 years old, I need to cover myself - I was buying a Nissan from a Chevy dealership - Chevy certified mechanics likely don't know anything about this Nissan truck, so I was going to get it inspected by a Nissan certified mechanic (something I was going to pay for myself). I was 110% interested and ready to buy, subject to this one inspection, and of course my right to a test drive, both of which I was denied despite several requests. Charlie vouched for the fact that I had requested an inspection and they had agreed to it, but Bryan overrode him and said no. I've never felt more disrespected in my life. This place clearly doesn't care at all about making sales or moving vehicles. Words can't even describe the level of my disappointment in the complete lack of service I received here. P.S. You can bet I will be filing a complaint with MVSA BC. Denying me the opportunity to test drive or inspect a used vehicle is not something any sales-driven or honorable dealership would do.
