We have been coming to Dog Days of Buffalo for various reasons for a while now. They have an…read moreamazing facility! It's clean and fresh smelling with the best doggie day carers around. When you enter, there are two big screen TVs so you can see your pet on one of them. Our Maisie had a blast going to "school" for half-days when it was winter and she needed to run around more than in our house. When we would pick her up, they'd announce, "I need Teeny Maisie from Small Dogs" and we could see all the small dogs run for the exit with JUST Maisie being brought to us! The dogs are SO SO happy. And a GOOD dog is a TIRED dog. We had Janelle for a couple of training classes, and she knows her stuff. We got excellent training and tips from Janelle - she was authoritarian and organized, and gave individual attention as needed. Highly recommend! Lastly, yes, there's more, we have had wonderful grooming done at DDB. Always a great job on grooming, very happy. This is a great business and we will continue to support them.

This place is FANTASTIC for dogs in either Doggy Day Care or for Boarding cats and dogs. Our dogs have seemed to love being boarded here and the staff is SUPER! Very patient with questions knowing we are turning over our fur babies to them for days at a time. They have an active Facebook page and often post pics and videos of dogs in the kennel or day care so their owners know they are doing ok. You can also call them to inquire about your pet anytime! This place also trains police/Border Patrol K9 dogs, so you know they are great animal handlers. They get very busy during large holidays, so I recommend calling at least a month in advance if you need them for Thanksgiving/Christmas. They have a five day minimum stay at these times, too. Finally, when you pick up your pet, they give you a report card so you know how they did while you were away. So sweet! They are reasonably priced and I highly recommend them. Tip: schedule your animal to be groomed on the day of pickup so they are fresh and fluffy for you, often with a complimentary bandanna!

We brought our dog Rosie to Sundance on a recommendation from a coworker of my father's since we…read morewere heading out to Angola for a couple of days and could easily drop her off in Hamburg. It's definitely a drive from where I live but I'd say it was pretty worth it. We brought our puppy in the afternoon; Rosie didn't have her Bordetella vaccination when we spoke to them over the phone, but they were able to give it to her when we went to drop her off. We were able to bring her own puppy food from home, and a few of her toys. The workers were quick to get everything processed and get the puppy into a kennel. 'Playtime' was an additional fee (only $5), but all other care was included in the package. She was given her food and water frequently, of course, and each kennel had an opening near the back that led to a small fenced-in area outside (this was kept open all day so that the dogs could go outside whenever they needed to!). We were shown around the area and got to look at the artificial grass outdoors, and everything looked clean and taken care of. The woman who showed us around even seemed a little embarrassed to find some dog droppings that hadn't been picked up yet, assuring us that she tries to keep things all cleaned up. The other dogs in the kennel at the time all seemed so happy, so I think their contentedness can speak for how great this kennel is. My puppy was eager to be back home with me, but I think that's only because she isn't used to being left alone like that. If we ever end up going somewhere that we can't bring a dog to, we will certainly leave her there again. I could tell by how busy the workers were that they are very dedicated to their work, which is to be expected when working with dozens of different dogs every day. I know that my pup is in good hands when I leave her here.

I started going back to Fisher and Friends again recently. I…read moreused to take my pack of three there when Fisher the black Labrador used to be there to interview new dogs. It was a woman owned business back than and still is. Some things are still the same and somethings aren't. Fisher has crossed the "rainbow bridge" as they say and so have all three of my pack. The last one just last year. But I have another one who got caught in the covid isolation and lack of socialization and it was time to get her out to live her best life. Back in the day when you wanted to take your dog there you took them for an interview essentially. Fisher would spend time with your dog and they could judge your dogs temperament and see if your dog was going to get along with other dogs or had behavioral issues. They still do that and have even improved on the process by having an on line form that allows you to document all your dogs shots as well as any health issues or any issues they might need to know about your dog. When you schedule the interview, you go over the whole form as well as going over all the house rules. For example maintaining six foot distances from each parent coming or going from the lobby. Keeping your dog outside the door till a dog of a different size who may be in the lobby leaves to prevent any possible large dog small dog issues for example. Then they take your dog to see how their temperament is with other dogs. Just as they did before , they check to see if your dog is social or has some issues that may not make it possible for your dog go there. After that if your dog is accepted, you schedule your dogs days at Fisher. They also have an in house groomer so you can have your dog washed and groomed while it's there. The staff has always had a consistently friendly attitude and knows your dog by name and greets them enthusiastically and encouragingly. Which is very helpful for a shy dog to help them adjust. What I would love to see at Fisher to make them more current would be on line live video feed. It's always such fun to see your dog playing with their favorite dog friends or playing in the pool in the hot summer days.

Whenever I bring her to be groomed, I tell them not to shave her ears, as they are beautiful. I found out just today, however, that they have not been grooming her above the neck because of my request about her ears, with the result being a difference in hair length across the back of her head. I didn't know this until today. They told my daughter, who went in to get her. I am furious about this. I'm giving them two stars because of this. They could have clipped her head between her ears. On top of this I was charged 78.00 for the grooming and teeth brushing for a 15 pound dog.

My dog had previously been attending a dog daycare with a ton of other dogs that were shortstaffed - he was overwhelmed. Tazito's was a smaller one on one experience with a home setting. Perks of daycare AND being at "home" Ruth is so sweet and really cares - if she's not available there's always someone there. She also sends photos throughout the day! Amazing hours for folks who work not the usual 9-5 or do but have things after work... most daycares close by 6 which can be hard!! Since going I've met other people in the community who use her too, which is great and reassuring. I've even recommended her to some people to check out! So if you're thinking about it - just give her a try and you won't be disappointed!

On my puppy's first morning there she was very hesitant to go with the male co-owner so I asked if he could please text me once she warms up. I'm at work concerned about my puppy so I call and text with absolutely no contact back from the owners. I pick up my puppy early due to their non communication only to find out that my puppy was not fed her breakfast or lunch and that this didn't warrant a phone or text either. I had high hopes for this doggy day care because they stated they prided themselves on the personal attention given to each dog. I felt none of this personalized attention as I only got any information when I picked my puppy up after 9 hours there . That didn't feel very personalized to me. No matter what response and excuses the business owner posts I will continue to feel that the upmost personalized care was not given to my puppy. The slightly urine smelling blanket was an oversight on my end but all the other disasters that day rest solely on Tazito's.
