Then come to find out they marked my vehicle as tampered with so no one else wanted to smog my truck cause it was "high risk". Called them again this year to give it another shot. Got a quote for 150$ smog on a 97 jeep. Other star certified shops in the area were charging 60-70 btw. Hate to bring a business down but these guys deserve it.

Not only was he an old guy, he did my smog checks BY HIMSELF, had me out in/out in 20 mins and never charged me more than $70 (OBD1) These guys here have 2-3 guys working on the 1 car, took over 45 mins and charged me $100 after trying to 1st charge me $140. Seams like they dont like doing the extra work on OBD1 so they try and scare you away by overcharging for it. Well it worked. I wont be coming back. Already found another guy who will honor my $70 old price and he too works by himself. Quality over Quantity.

Told him I needed my car smogged, handed my keys, it was immediately taken into the smog stall. I was sitting in the waiting area no more than 7 minutes and my car was done! The inspection and certificate was $55.00, not bad for a Star verified station, whereas I went to visit a non-star certified station and they wanted $60.00. I went though a few mechanics in my area and "you get what you pay for" really was a lesson learned. Alex & Angel are both very kind and knowledgeable. I do recommend leaving your car for a day or so for repairs.
