Updating my review as well it's hit year 4 living in Greenpoint for me, and safe to say I've been to Eagle Trading about 15-20 times since. Each time, service is quick and friendly. Delivery is also speedy and quick. Each item I've ordered has been excellent. Absolutely no complaints, but flawless execution and delivery for lunch/breakfast options. Barbecue chicken wrap, BLT, tuna sandwich, chilli, their vanilla latte, coconut matcha lattes, fresh squeezed orange juice - all deserve a solid applause and loyal customers. Pretty extensive menu with vegetarian options. Bonus smiley points just because they sell handmade cards at the cash register and provide a beverage loyalty card. Great place to chat and bring in your dog to pick up an order to go. I came here for the second time with a bestie and it did not disappoint. How have I not reviewed this place?! I've had breakfast here literally 100+ times and many a lunch as well. It's great. I could live on their bacon egg and cheddar on a baguette. My only suggestion would be that they open earlier (maybe 7:30am guys?!) and/or stay open later. read more

Stopped in during a bike ride home. Plenty of bike parking along the side walks. They were close to closing but the staff didn't make me feel rushed and seemed genuinely happy to have me. Super clean inside and they have a good menu of items. I opted for the crispy fish sandwich with fries and ice tea. To my surprise, I also got a delicious chocolate croissant on the house. Portion was good and the food high quality with spicy ketchup. They have nice outdoor seating with umbrellas and was kept very clean. Great service, great food and great ambience. I love eagle trading! It's such a gem in Greenpoint. I order lunch from here all the time. My favorites are the kale chicken caesar wrap and the chorizo breakfast burrito is wonderful as well, although a bit heavy. My coworkers love the chicken teriyaki bowl from here - I've tried it and it's hearty & healthy. The mushroom soup and chili also do not disappoint. Honestly, their menu is so extensive you can probably try something new everyday. But side note I love chicken caesar wraps so I was looking up best chicken caesar wraps in Greenpoint & a Reddit post came up where many users said Eagle Trading. I am here to concur!! read more

Great place. It's one of the places that I've walked by alot, always seems like there's people there - so I had time and gave it a shot. Great little fast casual place. There's some places to sit and eat. I got my order to go. It's a nice place to get a fancier sandwich. Kinda pricy though. We frequented this spot for nice easy breakfasts while in town for a wedding. A less than 10-minute walk from the Box House hotel where we were staying. Cute cafe in greenpoint with great food options! We got the chorizo burrito and the bec to share and both were delicious. The bec comes on a baguette and while the baguette looks really intimidating and hard, it was actually delightfully chewy! The chorizo is almost ground and reminded me of corned beef hash, which i love. Would definitely be back to try all the other tempting items on the menu! read more

Looking for a quiet cafe to enjoy your work flow? Eagle is a great spot for working and having a quick lunch and coffee. With a vast amount of table space, this was the perfect Greenpoint coffeeshop, located in a more secluded neighborhood with more residences and independent establishments and right near the bridge connecting LIC to Brooklyn. The food is good and very homey yet tasty. Prices are decent for the surrounding locals that come in and out and work on their laptops in the afternoons. I enjoyed my homemade granola with fresh berries. The sunshine hitting the glass by the front tables can get nice and warm to the point of unbearable, depending on the time of day. The baguette with avocado, chipotle, cheddar, and veggie sausage sandwich was delicious! Very fresh ingredients and tasty. Iced coffee was very good as well. There is a little station towards the front of the coffee where you can add kill of your choice to your coffee. Honestly I do...they make wonderful almond milk lattes and the food is always delicious whether I have gotten a breakfast burrito, oatmeal, or an omelette and tater tots like the savage I am sometimes. It's called "balance" lol. The only drawbacks about this place: the chairs are wickedly uncomfortable at a table, at the counter, and the wifi has never once worked any of the times I am there. However, I always see the same smiling faces behind the counter, two women who are beyond awesome and super friendly. That alone will keep me coming back. I just hate the chairs! We've been meaning to try Eagle for so long and finally popped in the other day. The menu is expansive, there's definitely something for everyone there. This might sound silly but their outside doesn't do the I inside justice. Something about the awning doesn't portray how cool the inside is and as a place to hang out, it looks like a bagel shop. That said, my fiance had the coronation chicken, he was intrigued by the Brit flag icon next to the sandwich and gave the nod of approval that it tasted like home. I got the pickle and cheddar sandwich and it was delicious, sometimes simple sandwiches might not be super tasty but this was! The black iced tea was SO fresh and I could drink it everyday. Eagle Trading is a cute coffee shop in Greenpoint, just out of the way of the hustle & bustle, yet, very accessible & easy to get to. Situated on the corner, Eagle Trading has a quaint, neighborhoody vibe that makes you want to pop in for a bite & latte. So, you probably should grab one of their breakfast sandwiches while you're there... bacon, egg & Vermont cheddar on a baguette. Mannnn, that thing is crisp on the outside & chewy on the inside - perfectly fresh, every day. Makes my mouth water when I think about it. Such a simple breakfast sandwich but it's so dang tasty. Last visit, I grabbed a skim latte... which was well made and complimented the sandwich perfectly. This is my favorite local coffee shop for breakfast lunch! I've been coming here for years and the egg/avocado/cheddar/pico de Gallo breakfast sandwiches is just the best thing. I'm also a fan of the breakfast burritos and breakfast bowls. On a non food related note, I really appreciate that these guys have taken Covid really seriously-they completely changed the interior and built walls and plexiglass at the counter. Traipsing through Greenpoint in search of Polish groceries, I needed a caffeinated refuel. The outdoor seating and open front are what drew me in. I got the sense that I had all the space despite their small interior. My latte and I took up that space along with a healthy dose of sun at one of their corner outdoor tables. Herein ensued one of my favorite "sports" - people watching. I overheard life advice convos between construction workers, polish baby talk between mothers and their kids, an almost car accident where both drivers cursed each other out in their respective languages (and my linguistically curious ass trying to guess which they were) and a couple waxing nostalgic on the tacos they used to eat as kids in Mexico. My only regret is that I went a little too close to closing time and had to leave after 20 mins. That's definitely not enough time to observe humans in their element. Loved this place! I had the turkey and bacon sandwich, and my fiancé had the philly cheese steak sandwich. They were both delicious! Mine was more fresh, while his was rich and a little heavy, but both full of flavour. I highly recommend both sandwiches. We also got iced coffees. Mine was an iced latte with almond milk. As I am from Australia, our sugar syrups are a little different, so I asked the barista which was better out of the honey sugar syrup or regular sugar syrup. She suggested the honey, as well as a bit of cinnamon too. Such a great combo! I think I will have to have this everywhere now lol. It was definitely the best coffee I have had in the US. My fiancé got the iced americano drip/ brew coffee, which is again different than in Australia, and it was also the best of it's kind that I have had in the US.
