Updating my review as well it's hit year 4 living in Greenpoint for me, and safe to say I've been to Eagle Trading about 15-20 times since. Each time, service is quick and friendly. Delivery is also speedy and quick. Each item I've ordered has been excellent. Absolutely no complaints, but flawless execution and delivery for lunch/breakfast options. Barbecue chicken wrap, BLT, tuna sandwich, chilli, their vanilla latte, coconut matcha lattes, fresh squeezed orange juice - all deserve a solid applause and loyal customers. A local favorite I give my business to at least 1-2 times a month! read more

How have I not reviewed this place?! I've had breakfast here literally 100+ times and many a lunch as well. It's great. I could live on their bacon egg and cheddar on a baguette. My only suggestion would be that they open earlier (maybe 7:30am guys?!) and/or stay open later. read more

10/10 food & coffee!! Also got the chagaccino (not pictured) 10/10 service!!! Basically a cafe serving Artisanal diner food and coffees and teas with amazing service. Pretty extensive menu with vegetarian options. Bonus smiley points just because they sell handmade cards at the cash register and provide a beverage loyalty card. Great place to chat and bring in your dog to pick up an order to go. I came here for the second time with a bestie and it did not disappoint. Might get a bit loud and busy to do deep work but still saw some customers sketching and reading, and doing what appeared to be busywork or light brainstorming for projects on their devices. read more

Stopped in during a bike ride home. Plenty of bike parking along the side walks. They were close to closing but the staff didn't make me feel rushed and seemed genuinely happy to have me. Super clean inside and they have a good menu of items. I opted for the crispy fish sandwich with fries and ice tea. To my surprise, I also got a delicious chocolate croissant on the house. Portion was good and the food high quality with spicy ketchup. They have nice outdoor seating with umbrellas and was kept very clean. Great service, great food and great ambience. Definitely recommend. read more

It was my second time here and I was not disappointed. The previous time we ordered sandwiches which were tasty and delicious. This time I ordered the miso crunch salad with salmon. Excellent! I love eagle trading! It's such a gem in Greenpoint. I order lunch from here all the time. My favorites are the kale chicken caesar wrap and the chorizo breakfast burrito is wonderful as well, although a bit heavy. My coworkers love the chicken teriyaki bowl from here - I've tried it and it's hearty & healthy. The mushroom soup and chili also do not disappoint. Honestly, their menu is so extensive you can probably try something new everyday. But side note I love chicken caesar wraps so I was looking up best chicken caesar wraps in Greenpoint & a Reddit post came up where many users said Eagle Trading. I am here to concur!! read more

Great place. It's one of the places that I've walked by alot, always seems like there's people there - so I had time and gave it a shot. Great little fast casual place. There's some places to sit and eat. I got my order to go. It's a nice place to get a fancier sandwich. Kinda pricy though. My sandwich has a nice baguette bread, which I loved - but it was kinda hard. Thank goodness I took my order to go, so I could claw at it alone in peace. read more

The tofu avocado wrap is so good. the falafel wrap is excellent. and sandwich can be ordered as a salad, removing the bread and adding greens. i could go on and on. i'm getting hungry just thinking about it. read more

We frequented this spot for nice easy breakfasts while in town for a wedding. A less than 10-minute walk from the Box House hotel where we were staying. Definitely enjoyed the vegetable omelette and bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. Cute little corner spot with a good amount of seats always available. read more

Cute cafe in greenpoint with great food options! We got the chorizo burrito and the bec to share and both were delicious. The bec comes on a baguette and while the baguette looks really intimidating and hard, it was actually delightfully chewy! The chorizo is almost ground and reminded me of corned beef hash, which i love. Would definitely be back to try all the other tempting items on the menu! read more

Looking for a quiet cafe to enjoy your work flow? Eagle is a great spot for working and having a quick lunch and coffee. With a vast amount of table space, this was the perfect Greenpoint coffeeshop, located in a more secluded neighborhood with more residences and independent establishments and right near the bridge connecting LIC to Brooklyn. The food is good and very homey yet tasty. Prices are decent for the surrounding locals that come in and out and work on their laptops in the afternoons. I enjoyed my homemade granola with fresh berries. The sunshine hitting the glass by the front tables can get nice and warm to the point of unbearable, depending on the time of day. Lovely cafe in Greenpoint with so many options for food and drinks! Spacious location with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The baguette with avocado, chipotle, cheddar, and veggie sausage sandwich was delicious! Very fresh ingredients and tasty. Iced coffee was very good as well. There is a little station towards the front of the coffee where you can add kill of your choice to your coffee. The sandwiches and coffee came out in less than 10 minutes after ordering - very quick service. Street parking is decent in the area if you choose to drive. read more

I ordered "breakfast" in the form of a grilled cheese and tater tots (don't judge) on a Monday via Postmates and honestly it hit the spot. I ate half for breakfast and half for lunch. The quality for this sort of diner food was pretty darn high. These might have been perfect tater tots. Would like to try other sandwiches and options for sure. read more

Love this spot. Honestly I do...they make wonderful almond milk lattes and the food is always delicious whether I have gotten a breakfast burrito, oatmeal, or an omelette and tater tots like the savage I am sometimes. It's called "balance" lol. The only drawbacks about this place: the chairs are wickedly uncomfortable at a table, at the counter, and the wifi has never once worked any of the times I am there. However, I always see the same smiling faces behind the counter, two women who are beyond awesome and super friendly. That alone will keep me coming back. I just hate the chairs! We've been meaning to try Eagle for so long and finally popped in the other day. The menu is expansive, there's definitely something for everyone there. This might sound silly but their outside doesn't do the I inside justice. Something about the awning doesn't portray how cool the inside is and as a place to hang out, it looks like a bagel shop. That said, my fiance had the coronation chicken, he was intrigued by the Brit flag icon next to the sandwich and gave the nod of approval that it tasted like home. I got the pickle and cheddar sandwich and it was delicious, sometimes simple sandwiches might not be super tasty but this was! The black iced tea was SO fresh and I could drink it everyday. The staff were also super lovely and attentive. Definitely making this our usual spot! read more

Hey! I left a 5-star review because you guys are one of the best restaurants in town, but as a frequent customer - a note. Your crispy bacon burrito USED TO have actually crispy bacon. It was amazing, best breakfast in Greenpoint. But the last four times I ordered it, the bacon was all floppy, zero crunch or crisp, and this morning I actually just pulled all the bacon out because it wasn't at all crispy whatsoever. So... please go back to making it crispy and amazing? read more

The bacon, cheese, spinach omelette and banana oatmeal are delicious. The iced chai is also good. The Buffalo chicken wrap was not great. This is a cute little spot for all day breakfast. Would recommend for breakfast or coffee. read more

Eagle Trading is a cute coffee shop in Greenpoint, just out of the way of the hustle & bustle, yet, very accessible & easy to get to. Situated on the corner, Eagle Trading has a quaint, neighborhoody vibe that makes you want to pop in for a bite & latte. So, you probably should grab one of their breakfast sandwiches while you're there... bacon, egg & Vermont cheddar on a baguette. Mannnn, that thing is crisp on the outside & chewy on the inside - perfectly fresh, every day. Makes my mouth water when I think about it. Such a simple breakfast sandwich but it's so dang tasty. Last visit, I grabbed a skim latte... which was well made and complimented the sandwich perfectly. All in all, I'd give Eagle Trading, 4 fantastic stars... they're solid & haven't let me down yet. read more

Yummmmmmm Fabulous coffee all types but definitely try the iced soy mocha ( over the top delicious). I had oatmeal with brown sugar and bananas which was warm and hearty and I ate the whole thing! My daughter had a vegan burrito which was over stuffed with yummy goodness! We come here often it's always always good. Ask for Julia she'll take good care of you and she's a sweetie! read more

This is my favorite local coffee shop for breakfast lunch! I've been coming here for years and the egg/avocado/cheddar/pico de Gallo breakfast sandwiches is just the best thing. I'm also a fan of the breakfast burritos and breakfast bowls. On a non food related note, I really appreciate that these guys have taken Covid really seriously-they completely changed the interior and built walls and plexiglass at the counter. They have a really efficient operation going! Due to covid they don't currently accept cash or punch cards. read more

Traipsing through Greenpoint in search of Polish groceries, I needed a caffeinated refuel. The outdoor seating and open front are what drew me in. I got the sense that I had all the space despite their small interior. My latte and I took up that space along with a healthy dose of sun at one of their corner outdoor tables. Herein ensued one of my favorite "sports" - people watching. I overheard life advice convos between construction workers, polish baby talk between mothers and their kids, an almost car accident where both drivers cursed each other out in their respective languages (and my linguistically curious ass trying to guess which they were) and a couple waxing nostalgic on the tacos they used to eat as kids in Mexico. My only regret is that I went a little too close to closing time and had to leave after 20 mins. That's definitely not enough time to observe humans in their element. Next time a little less traipsing. read more

Came across this spot while spending the day in Brooklyn. Definitely a must go to. Ordered the Gorgonzola and pear salad hubby ordered the Philly cheesesteak and they were both on point. High quality bread meat cooked to perfect level, perfect amount of cheese. Simply perfect! The spot is really nicely decorated and open. Windows are fully open so you get fresh air. It was pretty good. From the reviews I thought it was going to be absolutely spectacular but in all honesty it was just okay. If you're looking for a good sandwich this is your spot. I tried a couple sandwiches when I was in BK and enjoy the tuna/wasabi the most. I love Eagle Trading! Recently came here for lunch. I ordered the ABLT (Avocado BLT) and it was delicious! They serve breakfast, amazing wraps and have tons of vegetarian options. Dine in or take it to go. Cafe style environment, and all menu items seem to be $9 or cheaper. Grilled cheese for only $6. Sometimes, simple is just better. read more

This is one of my all-time favorite coffee spots. Great music, great staff, great coffee. I can always count on an Eagle latter to lift me up when I'm having a bad day. My only complaint is that I wish it had a sauce... like something to top it with. The sour cream was great, but I wanted like a green or red sauce or something to give it a bit more punch. It was a little dry, but perfectly cooked... a strange combo lol. The coffee, however, made us both chuckle when it came to the table. The glasses were entirely hard to use and not something that I would recommend for table service. It was a struggle and we would've just preferred a simple mug. Otherwise, everything was great and we left happy and full. I'll most definitely be back.
