My friend and I were looking for a place to have breakfast after walking miles. We were so tired and happy to have found this spot with an interesting aesthetic/ seating. They had some comfortable couches but also rocking chairs and it was not too busy so plenty of seating options. Their food menu, at first I thought was a bit limited with only bagel options however I noticed they also had sandwiches so I picked the turkey and cheese sandwich which was so filling and delicious! they had lots of juice options but my friend and I decided to get carrot and orange and it was perfectly made! read more

The ideal blend of a productive workspace and a cozy cafe. It's an absolute must visit for remote workers. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and they provide reliable WiFi and plenty of accessible outlets. Used to come here every single day and everything is good. My personal favorite was the bagel with lox add cucumber and tomato. But you truly can't go wrong here. The smoothies are delicious. The pastries are good. The matcha is good. The coffee is good. The service is also consistent everyone here is so friendly and fast. Make sure to tip. They're always doing a great job. And it's really clean inside, it's always cool. The back patio is really lovely and usually not crowded at all. I definitely miss this little spot! read more

I have had pretty good experiences here both times I've gone, but I do also understand why it's been somewhat empty and quiet both those times. On the whole, to me, there's something off about the ambiance. It's loud inside (not from customer conversations) and the music is more of a bumping 2010s pop mix than a chill-cafe mix. All of the drinks are tasty, but also very sugary and have given me stomach aches. read more

It's about average for a cafe. Not too bad, but nothing I'd really remember. The Brazilian Sunrise was sloggy and thick, even for a smoothie; it was slightly colder than room temperature but not necessarily sweet nor refreshing. Overall, I liked the size and price of the drinks, but probably wouldn't return again. read more

Delicious! We got bagels and croissants and a smoothie and huge iced lattes with just the right amount of creamer. The staff is so friendly and accommodating (made the smoothie to my son's liking) and they have a lovely little back garden that we couldn't use because it had just rained, but it's the spot that counts. We brought our small dog in and it wasn't an issue...10/10 would recommend. read more

Lovely neighborhood coffee shop! I've gotten a Nutella latte every time I visit and it never lets me down! The smoked salmon bagel is fresh and feeling. The blueberry scone is great for people partaking in a gluten free diet. My boyfriend really liked the tuna sandwich. Of note, IC Brooklyn is usually pretty clean but small and the prices are a bit higher than other coffee spots in the neighborhood. read more

I ordered The Green Bowl, a spinach/kale/mango/banana/vanilla yogurt base, topped with granola, kale, blueberries, flax, and coconut flakes. I requested to sub the kale topping for strawberries, which they did! I've had this bowl twice from here and it is a favorite breakfast order for sure. I also had a vanilla iced latte, which had a great balance of sweetness vs. espresso. I also ordered a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagel was a bit stale, and the veggie cream cheese was a large amount of shredded carrot and chunks of cucumber in a cream cheese that was very, wet? I love this place! Staff is friendly and fast. Our order was great. We got a small house blend, everything bagel scallion and cream cheese (it was yummy!) , and a red rockers smoothie. They also have vegan option for food. It is great for working remotely. Good wifi connection. Like this place but the lady in the afternoon is extremely rude. I came twice already and she had the same energy. It's like she hates her job. FYI I'm a new customer so I never interacted with her before. I pay and I tip well so it has nothing to do with that. Lady also never by the cashier when you walk in. It's like you're inconveniencing her when you walk in. She had no customers on line, she was literally doing nothing. This is the second time this time I went with a friend and they felt the same. I use to love this place, a really nice guy use to work in the evenings. Coffee shop itself is nice, but do yourself a favor and go in the morning read more

Delicious bagel cafe! I had the vegan banana muffin and smoked salmon bagel and they were both really delicious! They have a good selection of different types of bagels and coffee offered. To wash down my delicious breakfast, I had their cold brew coffee which was pretty good as well. I had a bite of my friends avocado+cream cheese bagel and that was super tasty as well. Came here for the first time around noon on a weekday and there was plenty of seating including a large backyard area with seating. It's a spacious cafe with many styles of seating to choose from. The food as also delicious and affordably priced! I ordered the Bronx bagel which was very yummy and a juice that I didn't enjoy as much but it wasn't bad. I ended up staying for hours here working - quite a few people were there doing the same thing. Would definitely recommend this cafe and the cushioned window seat for an ideal experience. read more

This was our first bagel stop during our trip and wow were we immediately impressed. This was such a great introduction to NY bagels for two Californian girls. We got the premade bagel sandwiches, matcha latte, and an iced latte. The iced latte was strong beyond belief, easily the best iced latte. The matcha latte was lacking a bit but everything else was just so good it almost doesn't matter. As a native California acai-bowl-obsessed girl, I always find myself consumed with a craving for one when I'm in New York.. which is a struggle since I've realized how hard it is to find good acai outside of SoCal lol. luckily, I've found this place to be a solid option in Bushwick-- I've ordered bowls from this cafe when the craving gets particularly inescapable and they do the job. I particularly like the Matcha Bowl which is blended with spinach and almond milk and topped with fruit and gluten free granola. The consistency is a bit icey and melts fairly quickly but it's decently slushy enough to not be totally watery and tastes very healthy and refreshing, which I appreciate. A very good nutritious meal and also quite affordable ($10)! read more

Really nice spot, great for work or a coffee date! The coffee is pretty good, and the smoothies are good too! Everything is tasty, but nothing to necessarily write home about. The smoothies are a little watered down but still hit the spot if you're having a craving. Drinks are probably a 3/5 but the cute atmosphere and ample outdoor seating are what bumped this up to a 4 for me! bagel was average. if ordering delivery skip the açaí bowl as they put ice in it to keep it cold but it takes up most of the space in the bowl so it's just a bowl of ice with açaí around it. read more

Excellent place to study! It is very peaceful here with the white noise of occasional cafe sounds such as coffee machines. It usually runs from 8am to 7pm, so you can fuel a whole study/work day with their extensive menu of coffee, smoothies, bowls, bagels, etc. I accomplished much more studying here than I did at home. For the couch potatoes reading this, there are a few cozy sofas and chairs. The interior setup is a great mix of small tables, window seats, couches, and more. Outside there is a garden if you want to relax and enjoy the nature. I bought a dirty chai which had an excellent flavor. There have been too many times that I ordered chai from a place, and it ends up being weakly flavored or just made with some weird chai syrup. This had a great blend of spices and that shot of espresso to keep me going. Later on, I ordered a wheatgrass shot which made me feel a bit healthier (at least in my mind). It was a great green break between my caffeinated drinks. I definitely plan on coming here again when I go to Bushwick! read more

Cool cafe. The environment is a place where you can chat, lounge, and chill. Not busy at late afternoon hours. Customer service was good, barista was very friendly. Moving on to the food. I ordered spinach quiche and iced matcha green tea. Spinach quiche was already prepared, so it was just heated up, but it was good. The barista added some side salad, and I would say the dressing was good. I wouldve given this place a 5 star, but had to deduct a star for the iced matcha latte. The matcha taste wasn't strong enough that I could taste the soy milk more than the matcha. Apart from that, everything's good! Will come back some other time! read more

I ordered the peanut butter smoothie and I was impressed. So I decided to order a buttered bagel lightly toasted and they nailed it. I know you must be thinking how could anyone mess up a buttered bagel. Believe me it happens a lot. Usually the bagel is burned at the ends which scratches the top of my mouth which makes it a very unpleasant experience. I got the Brooklyn Bagel and it was great. Nice staff and clean location. My only mild disappointment was the bagel which seemed to me like a common cafe bagel--but nothing wrong with that. Still loved it and definitely plan to explore their other breakfast and smoothie options. read more

I let it go but then I order my regular small iced coffee "light &sweet" as you can tell the coffee was not light at all and I almost felt uncomfortable to even bother to ask them to change it. So I paid $6 for a regular small iced coffee that I did not enjoy. It was cool inside and being the workers freshly making coffee beans (that is so unique) and it was beautiful inside and had a cute selections to buy something.... But when you have the workers you do have really represents your company. And I have no problem paying money for good quality coffee which you can tell it was. Yet I couldn't get past how rude I was treated. Especially when I stroll in and you're completely empty and I'm being very sweet and I get the vibes I did... Some things make or break an experience!

Baristas were solid, price was right, everything was grand... I don't know what has happened in the last 6-9 months but I've had to stop coming here full stop. The drink I would always order and am intimately familiar with now tastes fundamentally different--burnt. And not in a dark roast way I would opt into... burnt in a non-intentional way. I don't know if something's up with the espresso machine plumbing that's burning the espresso, if the quality of the roast/beans have changed (doubt it), or if the microbiome of the ice machine is off--but the coffee now always tastes burnt in a way it never did before...and all my friends agree! I sincerely lament that this is the case and I check every 6 weeks or so to see if the espresso machine has been tuned up or something... but once again my cup was not tasty yesterday :/ !! I still go to other variety locations around the city and everything is ok elsewhere. I wasn't going to say anything but I'm just exhausted of not being able to get my reasonably priced, reliably good iced espresso drink when I get off at dekalb so I'm speaking up!
