I was in this store for the first time on 3/10/23 and made some purchases 2 bottles of Buffalo Trace @ $39.99 each and 1 Bottle of tequila @ $41.99 a total of &131.73 and upon arriving at home pick up bag and one of the bottles of Buffalo Trace fall out the bottom of bag and broke, I gave the store a call and Spoke With The Owner Gary and he stated to bring Receipt in and they would Replace so fast forward I called the store this morning 3/14/2023 and spoke with Spencer and he stated the same but upon returning to store Spencer said I need the Broken Bottle which I did not have because no one stated that until I got there, this is a Bad Practice and they are not People Of there Word and to add insult to injury I had to travel quite a ways almost an hour drive and they say this to me upon arrival. I didn't get to check in depth for the liquor selection and prices, but the beer selection is pretty good for the area. They carry local micro brews such as Monday Night. Also some other hard to find microbrews such as Kentucky Bourbon Barrel and New Hollands Dragonmilk. They also have some higher end 40/20 ounce beers like those by Rouge. The prices were actually lower then what I'm used to paying for Dragonsmilk and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel at most Publix and Krogers by at least $2 if not more. Even though the beer might be gone from the shelf, they have a computer inventory tracker. Just ask the clerk if you don't see it if they might have some in the back. read more

I have been shopping at this location since moving to the area (4 years now) and they have never let me down. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The selection is large and the prices are reasonable. I recently traveled to Reno and tasted the most amazing red wine that I had not been able to find anywhere in Georgia. I did; however, find it online at a decent price. Prior to purchasing it online, I decided to check with the wine buyer at this location to see if they carried it. They did not, but she offered to search their distributors to see if they could order it for me. This was amazing! She contacted me within two hours with the news that she ordered a case for me and it would arrive within the week. I genuinely recommend patronizing this bottle shoppe. The current owner does not honor gift certificates that were bought prior to his taking ownership in 2017. I've lost at least $100 due to this. He claims he did not inherit these debts with the business and that the previous owners are to blame. I don't believe David Wynn (the previous owner) was this type of person and I plan on contacting him or his family about the details of the transaction. These certificates have no expiration date and are the exact same certificates sold today. When asked whether he was doing anything to prevent current certificate buyers from getting their money stolen when he retires and sells the business (expiration dates, tracking certificates on the books - i mean they have serial numbers after all- etc) He merely stated "I'll always be here!" You might find a decent selection here, but do NOT buy gift certificates from this business. I suggest not doing any business at all. read more

The nicest bottle shop I've ever seen. Wouldn't you agree that liquor stores are typically nondescript stores in a strip shopping center (or worse.) But this is actually a pleasant place to shop. It's a big, stand-alone, unique brick building (interesting architectural style.) I haven't done any comparison shopping as far as prices, so I can't comment on that. But it's a nice place to shop. While this is certainly the nicest looking liquor store in Stockbridge, it is, in my own experience, the most expensive for what I buy. For example, a regular old bottle of Jameson was a full $10 more here than it was at another Stockbridge liquor store. Why?! Also, I dislike that you must make a U-turn on Hwy. 42 if you are coming from I-75 in order to get to this place. It seems a bit dangerous long-term, but I'm sure the bottle shop has tried and failed to get Stockbridge to do something about it. Stockbridge doesn't seem too interested in doing anything logical anyway. Nevertheless, it is super annoying, but at least the traffic in the area seems used to the U-turns. read more

For the most part a good selection and great staff. I had one incident here where I was purchasing up bottles for a party and I inquired if they had a particular rum the lady looked behind the register where she was standing and she said no we do not and so instead I purchased and more expensive liquor when I checked the other register I saw that there were bottles behind that register of the exact alcohol that I was asking for and I asked her to come to the other side to check to see if those were the ones I had requested earlier she said reluctantly ok and once she checked and confirmed that there were bottles of the alcohol asked if I wanted to change out any of the ones I had purchased when I wanted to exchange the one that was more expensive she said Oh we can't do that because it's more expensive as if its my fault that you were lazy and didn't want to go around to the other register which was 15 feet away to check on the alcohol. This is bad business and leave a very sour taste in my mouth read more

Don't want to give this business a bad review so am giving it 4 stars, but do want to get my dissatisfaction across. My husband stopped on his way from work last night (as he often does) and brought me home a $20 bottle of Kerrygold Irish Cream Liquor, which he thought I loved. I don't, and so the next morning I brought the bottle back in the original bag with the original receipt only to be told that they don't accept returns. Too bad because as I was waiting in line to return the bottle I was thinking about all the great Christmas gifts I could find in there. I like this liquor store but I believe they are advertising falsely. Their add says that they give the military a discount. I went to the store last week and bought a bottle of Jack and a six pack of beer because of the military discount. When I showed my military ID the clerk said that military discount was not given for these products. I believe their add is misleading. I will not go back to this store again. read more
