I was in the area looking for a beverage store to find some wine for a birthday gift for a friend. Yelp led me here, and I was happy for it. This store was well organized and very clean. and the wine selection was extremely up to par. They had so many wonderful brands that were priced well. I browsed through the liquor aisles as well, and everywhere I turned, an employee was there to assist if need be. This seems to be a hot spot for the area. because customers were coming and going nonstop. I would definitely circle back to this location. read more

They had a large selection and although we did not find exactly what we wanted, we found great alternatives. Like instead of Bailey's Red Velvet, we settled for gifting the chocolate and it was well received. We also wanted Yukon Jack's Permafrost, but we made due with slightly syrupy Rumplemintz. The frost is so much better! But it's definitely hot chocolate weather, so the rumple will do! The shelves were well-stocked and nicely organized, and the cashier provided friendly service. By far one of the best liquor stores I have been to. Found it completely by accident, but I was not disappointed at all. There were plenty of staff there. I came to pick up some stuff for a friend's birthday party. They specifically wanted Soju. There very person I asked not only took me directly to it, but even had recommendations about them. Weller prices are at least a year behind secondary market pricing. But the stuff on the shelf was priced at least a few dollars better than the other store down the street. J&J used to be my preferred package store. I'd usually by-pass other establishments to give patronage to J&J because the customer service was always friendly and topnotch. Recently, I was stared down and followed by two employees at the front of the store then followed by two employees at the refrigerated section. J&J, do you realize how insulting that is to have young 20-somethings following and pre-judging this Veteran! You will not receive another dime of my money, and I hope others that have the same experience follow suit. Just disgusting treatment towards a regular customer. read more

This is a great neighborhood and overall liquor store. They have a large variety of all types of liquor, wine and beers. If you need a chilled bottle of wine, check the cooler. The best Wine, Beer and Spirits Store is located in Stock bridge, Georgia. I have been to this place very first time and love the inventory that they have over here. Especially the international brands of beers and liquor. I have find the rare kind of my hometown and my favorite brand Old Monk XXX Rum. I was so thrilled to see it after a decade and more. Also I have found our famous beer brands like King Fisher and Taj Mahal. I can't thank much about the beard person who has helped me to find them. This place is owned by an Indian guy. Great selection, very clean and well stocked with all kinds of brands. Everything was easy to find. Service was great for me and very friendly staff that I have met till date. Always someone willing approach you to give you an advice or help you to find what you are looking for. Prices were about the same as they are anywhere else. Cashier's are professional. Easy on and off from I-75 for those who are traveling through this area. They do have ample free parking in front of the store. I went to the store yesterday and made three separate purchases; 2 of them were with a nice black woman and I had no issues. The last purchase was for a total $19. and change, however the total was $95 and change! The cashier saw how shocked I was and told me "yeah! things add up fast!". I had to tell her they don't add up THAT fast when all you're purchasing is 2 gift bags at 2.99 each and 7 liquor minis which ranged from $2 to $3 dollars each. I had her read me the items THEEE TIMES and EACH TIME she read the gift bags and licor minis but NEVER anything else! Aftwr I emptied out the bag I front of her and did the math I. FRONT OF HER , she miraculouslyfinds a bottle of licorice someone else left on the checkout. She never scanned it and she never mentioned it. I then see her talking to someone else and then coming back to me and removing it. If I'd had paid with a credit card I wouldn't have found out until later and then the store wouldn't have given me my money back thinking I actually took the items on my purchase ticket. Bad form! That young lady with red hit was trying to pull something and I'm sure others had this happen to them. Came here a couple mins ago on 09/04/2020. We were in here for roughly 20 minutes. The girl Heather (got her name from receipt) but she had blue hair and was Caucasian. She was mopping and my cousin asked if she can pass by she said yes go ahead then I caught her roll her eyes at her. Then I went to check out and another cashier came and started helping. Then Heather came and was like I can take the next guest, and I asked her if she has Hennessy she said yeah it's right there. And I went to look at it and she said we're closing in 1 minute. And I was like okay let me get the one behind on you the smaller one. She grabbed it then I changed my order to the bigger bottle. She then threw the receipt at me knowingly. After all that I advice people to avoid this location and go to another one. read more

I'm new to the area and was looking for a liquor store. When I read the reviews of J&J's, I was delighted to try them out. Most of those reviews must be from shill accounts because my experience was entirely different. Parking was a nightmare. The aisles are crowded and poorly lit. The shelves are stocked in no discernable order. There are boxes of random bottles places all over which could present a tripping hazard if you're not careful. I met a couple of fat guys who seemed to work there (they had no uniform apparel or name tags on) whose main job seems to be wandering the crowded aisles and being jerks to their customers. I could excuse the narrow, poorly lit aisles if their selection and prices justified them, but their selection is normal and their prices are, again, normal. I can't, however, excuse the rude behavior of the employees toward their customers. J&J's has lost my business forever. read more

Horrible customer service!!! Please DO NOT shop here. I just left this store after spending over $200 and was completely insulted by one of the young ladies named Heather at the counter. In preparation for completing my purchase I put my card in the machine to be processed as I waited for my nephew to return to the counter with my final item like I always do. I told the young lady that he was coming with one more item, but she proceeded to check me out anyway, and I wasn't aware that she did. When my nephew came to the counter, I said "here is the last item" please give us the military discount as we qualify for it. She then told me that it's too late; I have already checked you out. I asked how could that be when you haven't rung up my final item. She said oh well... with a complete attitude. I asked for the Manager, and she said you can talk to him tomorrow his name is Scott and he is not here and laughed. Her behavior was ignorant with no regard for me as a customer, and another customer followed me out of the store to ask if I was ok. I will be back tomorrow to speak with Scott and I expect to get my discount and for her to be addressed accordingly. I have been to this store several times before and was never treated like this. read more

I purchased several bottles of wine from J&J a few days ago. Upon opening one was unfit to drink. Dry cork that broke, horrible taste. It's a bad bottle of wine. I called to determine what could be done. Clerk informed me the manger said there's nothing they can do. What!? We went back and forth - "say, it happens" was the response. So I take my chances when buying wine at J&J? Clerk also said in Georgia you can't return and if I didn't like that call, call the Governor. read more

A employee helped me find a type of drink that would work for my tastes. Said it was smoother than what I had gotten before, by far the best he could recommend. All he did was up-sell me. It tasted ok for a vodka but disgusting compared to the cheaper brand I had mentioned getting. 3-5 dollars makes a huge difference to them in sales apparently.
