I love Voltaire. Cozy restaurant in Hapeville with good food and drinks! I've been a few times abs we typically go for lunch meetings or dinner. Today I had the turkey sandwich and side salad. Turkey sandwich was so delicious today I forgot to get a picture of it. They have excellent salads and salmon too!

I popped into Volare for a solo dinner one night. I pass by all the time but never have tried them out. I order a Caesar salad and the salmon entree. Both were pretty good. Service was quick and of quality even though it was near their closing time.

My first trip here. Came across this spot while traveling for work. I sat at the bar and enjoyed friendly, attentive, and professional staff. They all seemed to be working as a perfectly synchronized team. The space is charming and comfortable with a friendly and welcoming vibe. I enjoyed a fine red blend wine, $24 per glass, that was suggested by a waiter who generously offered me a few tastings. I chose the grilled Australian Lamb chops with asparagus, herbed couscous, smoked bourbon sauce for $47. I asked if the roasted root vegetables that were served with the steak entree could be substituted for the couscous and the waiter graciously said the substitution would be no trouble. There were 3 small lamb chops cooked to a perfect medium as I ordered. 2 of the lamb chops were chewy and disappointing. 1 of the chops was tender and pretty good. It wasn't seasoned well and was bland. The sauce was sweet with no discernible smoke or bourbon flavors. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and delicious. The root vegetables were unevenly cooked with some being perfect and some that were undercooked. The root vegetables were seasoned well and had good flavor. I think there should've been more lamb for $47. I was grateful for the unusually pleasant and attentive service.

What a gem! I randomly chose this wine bar for dinner last night after searching for options on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I was a fan as soon as we walked in and noted the cozy ambiance. The staff was friendly. And the food and wine were phenomenal! Everything tasted great...even my leftovers the next day. I can't wait to try their lunch menu, and we'll definitely be back for dinner.

After weeks of talking about it, I finally had the chance to visit Volare Bistro. Sitting in the cozy revamped district of Downtown Hapeville, Volare Bistro presents as a great romantic dinner setting for any occasion. Walking in, we were immediately greeted by the host. Providing him our name, we were immediately taken to our seats. The inside is small yet spacious as well as they have a patio area out back. The natural wood tones are highlighted by the perfectly placed dim lighting. Once seated, Desmond arrived at our table and presented us with a smile, warm welcome, and water. He discussed the menu options with us and allowed us a moment to decide on our order. As the menu is curated on an ongoing basis, the selections displayed were perfect for the season. After going back and forth between fish or pasta, I decided on a Greek Salad as my appetizer and the Bucatini Marinara for my main course. Upon arrival, my salad was gorgeous. The ingredients were fresh and the portion size was perfect for the price. The dressing provided really enhanced the freshness of the salad and wasn't heavy. Paired with the bread that was provided, this was a perfect way to enjoy a light bite to kick off the food experience. The Bucatini Marinara, which consisted of House-made marinara, tomato, basil, and grilled chicken was a perfect pick for my Saturday night meal. The dish is made so that the natural flavor of the tomato is the star of the meal. The sauce is lightly seasoned so you have the authentic flavors of the basil but anything else is minimal as the tomato takes the show. The Bucatini pasta was tender yet firm and sat well with the lightly seasoned grilled chicken. As I love a diverse flavor profile, the simplistic approach towards the flavoring of the Bucatini Marinara puts you in the mindset of a good dish that keeps the main thing the main thing. From the ambiance to the service and the food. Volare Bistro was a great option for a night out.

During a work trip recently I stopped into a plate for a quick dinner with coworkers and was amazed by the level of service and quality of food! We were able to walk in and grab a table for dinner and the server gave us a great recommendation with the Chicken Cordon Bleu. I wish I could describe the sauce better but it was amazing and I would go out of my way to stop here for this dish again!

Volare is an outstanding experience from beginning to end. It's centrally located, close to lots of parking, and staffed with servers who all seem to really enjoy working there and making sure you have a wonderful experience. We started off with the mussels as an appetizer. I had had them here several years ago and remembered them as being some of the best mussels I had ever tasted. They still are! For entrees, one of us had the New York Strip which was cooked and seasoned perfectly and accompanied by tender carrots and green beans and whipped mashed potatoes. Our server Jackie helped me make a decision between two entrees I was debating over. Her knowledge of the menu was greatly appreciated and my choice of the Chickpea Cakes was a huge hit. This entree is packed with smokey flavors and despite not having a protein, it was very filling! It was an exceptional experience. Jackie had a wonderful sense of humor and provided exceptional service. The ambiance was casual and relaxed. Volare was a great way to end the week with an impromptu Friday night outing. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys exceptional food and service. A+++

Oh em geee!! I finally was able to make it to this place and it did not disappoint. First thing first... Staff was amazing. I love a friendly staff from host, server, bar, food runner and cooks. The wine selection has something for everyone. The food was delicious. Everything on the menu was something I would want to try. The appetizers were so filling. I came with my mother who has lived in Hapeville all her life and so have her parents & their parents but she has never gotten to enjoy what the area has to offer. She felt comfortable and was so impressed with this place. I was as well & most definitely will be back. I had two glasses of wine, my mom had one and we shared 2 apps & a dessert for about $70. Not bad. Definitely recommend for after work, dinner date or self care date.

One of the things that I have committed to doing this year is to patronize businesses in my community. I live in the Tri-City area. East Point, College Park, Hapeville. I honestly did not know this restaurant existed until I saw it on Facebook. I don't get over to Hapeville often but the past two times that I went out to eat have been in Hapeville. We made a reservation for 5:30. We finished around 7:00. It started getting busy. Reservations are recommended for all Atlanta area restaurants at this point and time. It's so much easier than just sitting around waiting. The restaurant is pretty much open meaning the seating, the bar and there's like an open style kitchen. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. It's small and intimate and actually I like that. Starters: Bruschetta and Mandarin Salad. The bruschetta was abundant. The plate made you want to dig in immediately. Very healthy portion. Mandarin Salad- Gourmet greens, almonds, mandarin oranges, crumbled goat cheese, red onions, Mandarin Orange vinaigrette. Very good and the dressing was subtle in taste. PAN SEARED GROUPER Wild rice, sauteed zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, artichokes, honey chipotle peach reduction. gluten free. This dish was delectable. I took my time and ate it very slowly because I did not want want it to end. Lastly I chose Carrot Cake for dessert. The cake is chilled which makes it dense and dry. That was a little shocking. The cake had a good taste and the frosting was not overly sweet. It didn't seem like it was cream cheese based. Had it been room temperature it would have been perfect. We also had champagne and Riesling wine. The server was very bubbly, attentive and handled everything with ease. I would definitely come back here for a treat.

I've frequented ATL plenty of times before and have tried many different places to eat, and I've been mostly underwhelmed. However, if I have time for a concourse D excursion, I'll make my way here to eat! They offer a decent menu and have all the meats. It's all very good, I got a pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was savory and super filling. I actually couldn't even finish mine. They have sitdown service here and have room for about 30 or so people, but I think also offer express takeout service. Food comes out pretty quickly nonetheless.

This Sky Club opened at the same time as the ATL international terminal (Concourse F) in 2012, with its iconic outdoor lounge (Sky Deck) following soon after in 2013. This one (along with the its sibling at JFK) was the first one in the world, paving the way for this design at numerous other Delta-serviced airports around the country. Thom Filicia (remember him from the original Queer Eye?) was the interior designer. My wife and I had just come off of a red-eye from LAX at Concourse A, and took advantage of a Priority Pass benefit to get free chair massages at a XSpa in that concourse. We then took the Plane Train to Concourse F, in preparation for our international flight to PLS (Turks and Caicos). Atlanta is the connecting hub for Delta's flights into the Caribbean so was at Concourse F this time last year (but chose to go to the Club lounge nearby). The year before, flew out of Concourse E (which also serves as international set of gates), so now understood why this was our first time at this lounge (after gathering this info from my previous Yelp contributions). The Delta app indicated that unlike the other lounges at the other concourses, this one at F was not busy and we were able to enter right away. It is located on the upper deck of the central area of the concourse...there are a lot of office spaces for lounges here, but a lot of them are not filled. Since we had gone to the Sky Club at LAX less than 24 hours before, this visit did not count towards our 15 per year cap. We stayed for about an hour, finding some out of the way chairs in the back on the first floor. There is an upstairs deck area as well with more seating. I didn't find the outdoor deck, though it being July in Atlanta, wouldn't have been surprised with it being closed. It was breakfast time and the buffet had the typical lackluster set of breakfast items, consistent with what we have experienced at the other Sky Clubs in Atlanta. The items seemed more 'old' than usual though, and completely skipped all of it. Was a bit surprised that with a lounge this size, there were only 2 toilet stalls in the men's bathroom. Since the upcoming flight was international, didn't know how long the boarding process would take, so left the lounge earlier than normal. The whole process ended up being pretty easy.
