Stopped here spontaneously on our way back home, before a 10 hour drive. It was Monday mid-morning and still packed, but there was only a small wait to dine-in. Got an egg & cheese bagel, a coffee, and an apple cinnamon donut! The bagel sandwiches and donuts are large enough to share- so I split the donut with my boyfriend. It was tasty! The coffee was okay, but nothing too extraordinary. Still great place to stop for a quick breakfast though. The inside was cute, very clean, and had cozy decor!

I thought the overall ambience of the location was very nice. It was a nice place to sit on some coffee. Sit down and do some work. Maybe chat with other people had good vibes as far as the donuts go. I was looking forward to the donuts but again I felt like these donuts were a bit sweet for me. The jelly in the cheesecake doughnut strawberry cheesecake doughnut was pretty good. It was a bit sweet, but I liked it more than the caramel donut. The caramel doughnut was very sweet had more of a creamy caramel filling, and that made it too sweet for me, but because the jelly donut had more of a jelly filling, I felt like the sweetness was a bit less overall though I don't know if it would be worth coming here over another place for just the donuts, however the donuts were pretty cheap at $1.80 so I wouldn't mind paying for them again.

Very cutely decorated spot right on the strip of 11/15. They offer great unique coffees and teas and always have drink specials. They have a few sandwiches to choose from for lunch as well as a few for breakfast. Sometimes they will also offer a salad! What many people go for is their donuts as they are very unique in flavors such as maple bacon! The service is top notch and quick!

We found Eagles Wind a few years back and it's become one of those places we must stop at when in the area. Since they remodeled there is plenty of seating and parking. On a typical weekend the line is out the door, but it does move fast. My Husband and I agree their donuts are the best we've ever had from anywhere. I don't even like croissants and their breakfast sandwiches on croissant is amazing. My husband drinks the hot coffee and I've tried the iced versions, which were also all great. We've never had a single disappointment here with either service or the food. They also added lotus drinks, which is a newer thing this year at a lot of places. The coffee break donut is my favorite and one I hope they never remove from the menu.

They do offer military discount, that's nice the coffee taste very good, and the donuts are kinda chewy .. but still taste okay. Breakfast sandwich was good also.

So nice, clean, & welcoming. Really great coffee and out-of-this world donuts. I wish we lived closer! But regardless, will come back!

The advantage to having a cozy coffee and donut shop is that the lines really can't get too long. It helps to have a staff that is used to working together and who understand the limits of their space. They keep the line moving while keeping their customers happy and caffeinated. We ordered simple coffees and I could not resist a blueberry fritter. I hadn't expected the blueberries to be spread through every bite of the batter, but it was very tasty. The texture was closer to a muffin than a fritter or a donut, but it was a great start to my day. My son went for a simple cake donut and we agreed that this would be a regular stop if we lived in the area. We have family nearby, so will make it a point to stop in again on our next trip to central PA.

We stopped in here after passing it so many times because it was already closed. We live about an hour and half away..so it was hard lol. But we finally got to stop in, and we were so happy we did. I got a shot of espresso, and my fiance ordered an Americano with a splash of real maple syrup (tasted like a donut). Both turned out excellent! My espresso was not bitter, had perfect crema, and was very smooth. My fiance loved her Americano..drank every drop. And the best part..they roast their own beans!! The coffee was spectacular. Thank you! The inside has two different vibes. Out front where the amazing looking donuts are has more of the diner/Dunkin feel to it...but over to the right there is a nice little cozy coffee area. There is a little leather couch, and some leather chairs. Bulb lit warmth. That's where we sat. We like that warm artisan coffee shop feel rather than the out front. There is plenty of seating throughout the shop. They do have a gender neutral bathroom. Everything was also very clean! Our Barista was very kind and very helpful/patient with us as it was our first time in there. Your coffee shop is great..we will definitely stop back when we are in the area!!

Fresh donuts, simple but tasty…read more In town randomly for food, and happen to be in the mood for dessert. So I figured, why not donuts? and so we went to this random place to get a donut or 3. Place is rather unassuming from the front. looking like a renovated bank. From the inside, it's much more upbeat in comparison. The inside has a lot of cartoon rubber ducks, an ordering kiosk, and a cashier stand unmanned. It very much reminds me of a modern fast food location. Instead of ringing people out, you get a giant cell phone that you can order your donut creations and pay. The automated donut machines were busily churning away fresh donuts. The staff were there helping out others, and when it came to do our order one of them got the request and started to prep our snack. The stations were a little on the messy side, and the staff were very much in the mode of getting through with the day. They did do a good job with presentation, but the station was very much trashed. We got our 3 donuts, took some pictures, and dug in. Overall, pretty good. The donuts are not too greasy, more cakey than light. Which makes sense, since there's a lot of toppings you can put on a donut. The donut needs the sugary toppings though, without them they would be quite plain. The Peanut butter was more savory, and the jelly was more a gel than jelly. The bacon was good, and the maple glaze was more sugar than anything. As a donut, they are good but they are basic. You can fancy the donut up in a lot of ways, but the donut itself didn't bring anything to the table. its good, just not great

Fortunately I was in a group and we were able to split a half dozen donuts so that we could try a few different flavors. My favorite was the canoli and the Nutella maple. Donerds Donuts is a locally owned small business that's well worth a stop when you're visiting Jim Thorpe. I learned that the owners met in Chile, where they were inspired to start a donut and coffee food truck. They sold their handcrafted donuts from a vintage VW bus on the streets of Santiago before eventually bringing their passion to Pennsylvania. Today, they have two locations, and I had the pleasure of visiting the Jim Thorpe shop. The storefront is charming, welcoming, and has a few seats where you can relax and enjoy your treats with a fresh cup of coffee. Best of all, everything is made fresh on-site. Their display case is filled with an impressive selection of classic and specialty donuts, along with colorful macarons, French toast cinnamon rolls, flaky croissants, and a full lineup of coffee drinks ranging from lattes to iced coffees. Honestly...wow! Deciding what to order wasn't easy. Since it was already midday, I kept it simple and went with a Boston Cream donut. It was incredibly fresh, light, and filled with rich, creamy custard, then topped with a smooth layer of chocolate. Absolutely delicious! A special shout-out to Sarah, who made the visit even better. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the different donuts and macarons. Everything she described sounded amazing, and she definitely had my mouth watering. I had to show some self-control or I would've walked out with half the display case! She was fantastic. If you're spending the day in Jim Thorpe, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Donerds Donuts. Grab a coffee, treat yourself to one (or a few) fresh donuts, say hello to Sarah, and support a wonderful local business. I know I'll be back the next time I'm in town.
