Fresh donuts, simple but tasty. In town randomly for food, and happen to be in the mood for dessert. So I figured, why not donuts? and so we went to this random place to get a donut or 3. Place is rather unassuming from the front. looking like a renovated bank. From the inside, it's much more upbeat in comparison. The inside has a lot of cartoon rubber ducks, an ordering kiosk, and a cashier stand unmanned. It very much reminds me of a modern fast food location. Instead of ringing people out, you get a giant cell phone that you can order your donut creations and pay. The automated donut machines were busily churning away fresh donuts. The staff were there helping out others, and when it came to do our order one of them got the request and started to prep our snack. The stations were a little on the messy side, and the staff were very much in the mode of getting through with the day. They did do a good job with presentation, but the station was very much trashed. We got our 3 donuts, took some pictures, and dug in. Overall, pretty good. The donuts are not too greasy, more cakey than light. Which makes sense, since there's a lot of toppings you can put on a donut. The donut needs the sugary toppings though, without them they would be quite plain. The Peanut butter was more savory, and the jelly was more a gel than jelly. The bacon was good, and the maple glaze was more sugar than anything. As a donut, they are good but they are basic. You can fancy the donut up in a lot of ways, but the donut itself didn't bring anything to the table. its good, just not great read more

I have had donuts delivered many times from this store with no problem until recently. I ordered donuts as part of an early morning breakfast to my lady friend's business which was open for the day. I received a message from the Door Dash person that they were delivered. The problem is that my friend only found out about the delivery because a customer told her that they were lying on the ground outside the door. She took pictures. I reached out to the delivery person who did not return my call and I contacted Duck Donuts twice with no response. If leaving food on the ground is acceptable to Duck Donuts when the delivery person only had to walk in a door and drop them on a counter...to me that's poor business. I've given Duck Donuts two weeks to respond and nothing. read more

We stopped here at the request of my oldest and had a great time. Parents this place is an EXPERIENCE. My six year old was enthralled watching them make the donuts and put the toppings on. We got a glazed (for the baby), The Beach Ball (6 year old), Peanut Butter in Paradise (hubby) and maple bacon (myself). The Maple Bacon was perfect. All the donuts were warm and fresh and the maple bacon flavor was the perfect blend of savory and sweet. I'm not a huge sweets person so I really appreciated this option. Went for the first time this morning and had an awesome time! The staff was super sweet and the cashier gave me great suggestions. I got a cinnamon one and the blueberry pancake. They were fantastic! So yummy and warm and not too overly sweet. The coffee was good too. My only recommendation would be to possibly drizzle the toppings over something else other than the box the donuts are served in because there was icing on the bottom and sides of the box that was messy to car out and put in my car. In the grand scheme of things, Duck Donuts aren't all that unique when it comes to topping, icing, and drizzle options. Grand opening day! We went after work. Line was just out side of the door - that's a 20 minutes wait. We had fun picking all sort of crazy combinations of coatings, toppings, and drizzles. My son was so intrigued with everything around him - the signs, posters, the donuts frying machine, the toppings/coatings/drizzles assembly, etc, that he said the 20 minute wait wasn't a long wait. For us it probably take 10 minutes just to complete our order sheet, so the wait wasn't bad at all. We ordered half a dozen custom donuts. We were so impressed with what came out in the box!! The most "exotic" donuts we made today was made of maple coating with bacon, peanuts and chocolate toppings, finished off with blackberry drizzle!! What heavenly tasty!!! I am so happy there's one so close by - like half a mile from home. These donuts here are made to order. Its actually the best way since its the most fresh ever instead of it sitting in a display case for who knows how long. I compare all donuts to donuts from Paula's Donuts here in Buffalo NY and I am going to have to say I think these Duck Donuts are much better to me. You first order at the register and then they make it fresh right in front of you. Your able to see them being made behind the counter and they add the toppings to the freshly fried donuts. It takes a little bit of time, but not that long for the donuts but its worth it because its fresh. They have a good variety of donuts but you can also make your own creations, Some donuts I had was the peanut butter icing, bacon topping, and raspberry drizzle donut. All those were very good. The donuts was hot when they put the toppings on which sometimes it melts off the donuts but they put enough where most of it is still on the actual donut it self. Have tried many times and they absolutely taste amazing. Very fresh and melt in the mouth. The prices here is also very reasonable for what you get and the taste. Checked in on 8/7 and 8/8. Delicious donuts! There is no other description required. Just go and try them. It is money well spent. There are plenty of combinations possible with the available options of coatings, toppings and drizzles. On 8/7, I ordered 1/2 dozen donuts. On 8/8, I order a bucket. Some of the orders on the bucket were mixed up, even though I had printed the Donut Order Form online, filled it and took it in. I did not order chocolate sprinkles on any donut but I found they had given me on one. Even though the order was incorrect, I will not reduce the rating, because in the end all donuts were tasty.
