Being that my family is from New York, our family tradition of bagels in the morning is a must and the stakes are high. There really are not many options for bagels in Pennsylvania let alone New York style. I can honestly say Bloomin Bagel will not disappoint. My dad, who is a critical foodie is very pleased too! They do offer freezer bags, which is great! My weekly routine is now beginning to look a bit different. I order a bakers dozen of bagels and each morning toast my bagel. Then add some cream cheese or fry an egg to put on my bagel and I could not be happier! They have a plethora of flavors including my favorites egg and chocolate chip. Bloomin Bagels is a must try. I was so disappointed that this establishment isn't taking COVID seriously. They have a huge container full of sugar, with a plastic spoon in it for everyone to use for their coffee. Then, they have a carton of milk and half and half for everyone to touch and use for their coffee. Every other place I have been has been excellent with their choice of individual sugar and creamer packets. I made my husband drink it black as we weren't touching those items. The restaurant itself didn't seem clean. I give it 2 stars because the bagel was good. read more

I've had bagels in a lot of places along the east coast but nothing gets me more excited than BB! People say NY has the best bagels but they haven't tried the flavored cream cheeses from Bloomin' before making that leap. We have gotten pretty boring over the years of ordering the same exact thing. My wife gets the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and I get the everything with Taylor ham, egg n cheese. The only complaint I would make is that sometimes it may take about 10 minutes to get your food even if it doesn't seem that busy overall. But at least there is a lot of room here to wait at a table and listen in on some of the local's conversations or the beat cops who practically live here in the morning. Service is always bright and bubbly as a local Bloom U co-ed waits on you with a smile. There were new options the last time we were in, including croissants on display that I hadn't seen before. You can usually get your own coffee or peruse the open cases with all of the fixin's available for your eyes to devour while you wait. It has become tradition to go here before we hit the road for a six hour journey home and it's always so consistent that we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. read more

Parking can be an minor issue depending on what time you visit. Interior is simple, order at the one counter and pay at the other end. Serves coffee and has a variety of other beverages in the coolers. Bagel selection is excellent and tasty, plus they have a wide selection of spreads. Breakfast sandwiches are well sized and filling; I go with the bacon but various meats are available. Amount of open seating depends on the time of day. They take all major credit cards. Overall, good place to stop for a quick and tasty breakfast. read more

Bloomin' Bagels is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Today, I ordered cold turkey on a toasted plain bagel with Swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce, and a little yellow mustard. I was impressed by the amount of turkey on the bagel. The turkey bagel sandwich was delicious! The counter staff members are pleasant, professional, and quickly fill your order. Bagels here are pretty darn good and there is no other place like it anywhere close. Except of course the location on main, but I digress. I get their tuna salad on toasted pumpernickel with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and pickles or a toasted plain bagel with plain cream cheese and smoked salmon. I am listing this because that is the way they run their place. Get used to it. Nothing is at all assumed. Most tuna salad sandwiches come with at least tomato and lettuce but not here. You must specify everything. Just fair warning. My chief complaint is the way they have their ordering/paying set up is wonky. Still, good bagels. read more

BEST Bagels in the area! If you are looking for that NY Style bagel, you have found it in NEPA. Fresh made everyday. You can get bagels with butter, cream cheese spreads, made into breakfast and lunch deli sandwiches, etc. Fresh coffee brewed daily of your choice and size (think Wawa style). Prices are reasonable, and the food is great! I miss these bagels, but enjoy getting a few when visiting family. read more

The food here is great. But the cashier gave me the worst experience I've ever had checking out at a breakfast restaurant. She was nasty to the employees as well as the customers. Everytime I am around Bloomsburg during breakfast or lunch hours, I stop in for a delicious Pork Roll, Egg, Cheese on a Toasted Everything Bagel or a Pastrami, Swiss, Hot Mustard on Pumpernickel. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I walked into the establishment and waited behind two other people who were getting their order taken (I am fine with that.) When it came time for me to order the people taking orders just walked away and left me standing there for 5 minutes. I went to the lady at the register and she asked me "what did you order." I said politely I didn't order yet. She rudely looks at me and says "well you have to go order over there!" even though she was doing nothing and there was no one at the other counter. I gave her an 'are you serious look' and she still made me go over to the other counter where I continued to wait for my order to be taken while she was doing nothing. She had a younger girl help me and after I took my order I returned to the register and had to REPEAT what I just ordered. I will NEVER be returning to this place. I like their food but the customer service was HORRIBLE. read more
