After the pandemic I was very cautious of going to nail salon. Many nail places don't properly disinfect the pedicure tub and the jets , reuse of manicure instruments / nail files and products are put in reused plastic soap containers. Yuk! Most important, I want to relax, not wait in line and not be in a room with 50 people - super loud- people lined up next to you - no privacy. . I drive by my old nail place and can't imagine going back to a place like that no matter how cheap the cost. La Belle is busy with customers but I'm usually have 2 seats between me and the other customer. Relaxing instrumental soft music , no TV and no loud shouting across the room (lol). Vikki , is super friendly and always makes sure I'm comfortable. She is a professional and does a fabulous job for my manicure and pedicure and eye brows waxing. They use top of the line polish and hand and foot products. Easy booking on your phones Payment is pre-paid on line so I just leave when I'm done. Highly recommended and worth the cost. For enjoyment and cleanliness.

Maya did not inform Mrs. Ken of any possible circumstances that may have arisen to postpone my appointment. Moreover, I had to call Mrs. Ken to find out what was happening since Maya refused to call me back or send me a message. It was through Mrs. Ken that I found out that Maya: 1. She already spoke to me; 2. Already did my service; 3. Had confirmed all my information; and 4. Was being professional. If I had already done my service, why would I be there and waste over 30 minutes waiting for a response? It speaks volumes on Maya's professionalism that she deemed a client unworthy of the simple courtesy of corresponding with them and then lie to her employer. Emergencies happen and had I been informed I would completely understand but the fact that lying and making a client be left in the dark is incredibly disgusting behavior that is not appropriate. The upseting part is the fact that if someone can lie like that to their clients and employer, who can speak on the quality of the services offered? Perhaps I dodged a nail infection and I won't thankfully ever know. Mrs. Ken is very kind and nice. I felt bad interrupting her weekend due to this. The quality organic products she uses are the only product I have ever found that actually last longer than 5 days. I tried every kind of polish including gel dip. This product is the best out there and Maya is very skilled in applying it. My manicures last 2 weeks at least, I can make it 3 weeks if I'm out of town.

The wait was very long. I was dissatisfied and disappointed with their services because 1) I called before walking in and asked "Can I come in as a walk-in at this time?" to see if there's a wait time. The guy manicurist lied and said "Not a long wait, just come on in". 2) I received a call from a friend and I was telling her about the situation while the lady manicurist was doing my full set. You know what they did? They eavesdropped (invasion of privacy) and the lady who was doing my nails started yelling at me and said we have a lot of people here that's why I'm just now starting your nails. 3) When I told my friend about them having poor customer service (because any other professional place would say "Apologies for the wait" or "Thank you for your patience") - they actually mocked me while I was on the phone, mimicked me saying "customer service" while laughing, and talked negatively about me in their language. 4) There were so many flies there, I had to keep shooing them away. Ew. However, what I've learned throughout my life, working in healthcare the past 10+ years, and dealing with a lot of different people is that you should never ever stoop down to anyone's level. & just kill 'em with kindness. Because karma is a bitch. Even though they blatantly disrespected me, I still tipped them (15%) and said "thank you" on my way out. But I certainly will do my part by writing reviews and never ever going back to Sunshine Nail Salon again. I'll gladly take my money elsewhere. That's why they lost $30+ because I initially went there for a full set + pedicure but just did the full set alone. I've never been disrespected like this at a nail salon in my entire life. I was honestly shocked. They lost a possible recurrent customer, for sure!
