Came in with family member that needed scans. Need show ID get sticker with name to go in…read more Signs not greatest to direct people around hospital. Ask employee they say a letter and it's like ok and which way do I go?? So been sitting here for a while watching same thing happened to us happen to many more people. Got off elevator need take left but 3 way hallway with no clear sign saying scans in a certain direction. As lady is this were we go at a counter yes, BUT need sign in on machine tucked in corner. Can't goto the person and say ur name and start nope need use machine. Elderly struggled, getting stressed having to use machine they can barely see and not sure how to use. Employees at counter had to leave come out and direct them how to use. ( why, can't we just check I. With the person you end up going to anyway). Man with crutches couldn't use machine and refused because he was holding g on to crutches and employee had to come help because he couldn't relax and figure out machine. Several more people baffled by having check in to machine you don't see that's tucked off to side. Older people can't handle modern tech, and people with disabilities don't want to fuss with it either. And if you're experiencing health issues and your problems stressed and panicked and don't want to have to fuss around with tech, especially when seconds later you go to the person sitting right there. And using letters instead of numbers doesn't do anything but throw people off. Ok last complaint, a man came in with arm crutches to struggle to walk. He had issues trying sign in, and asked were to sit and wait, then employee comes to get him to bring him where needs to go and walk him there and he's struggling to walk. He takes few steps asks if it's far? She said yes he said I can't walk that far can get chair and she was like uhhhhhhh. She couldn't be bothered to ca for help and made guy walk and said oh just take ur time. Unbelievable. No excuses at Al to make man struggle instead getting chair. We had scheduled appt for test, showed up early, finally found spot we had to goto , messed with machine to check I. Spot to lady at counter only be told don't have appt today. We got call last night confirming. Made a thing about it, only to be able to get MRI done anyway. I'm sure we had appt, and seems werd just so happen to have open Machine for scan. Employees should worry more about helping the confused nervous people coming into this hospital instead of gossiping and watching people struggle to fig things out. When pulling up to hospital employee parking sign then you drive further say is patient parking to left, go in park but your near surgery door. If you keep driving by what is main entrance more parking. This place has no clear directions. Employees should be well trained to handle their spots and they seem confused themselves. Unnerving when these are people supposesupposed to to do their jobs right so insurance doesn't harass me in few wks because they failed to process appt properly.

DO NOT go to maternity ward here on floor D. Its our worst…read moreexperience in a hospital ever. The staff was more interested in gossiping about patients and cell phone use than caring for the patients. I heard them gossiping about patients first hand while charts weren't filled out and newborn diapers weren't changed. There was no excuse for that type of treatment when the maternity floor was practically empty, now we know why. My brother came up to visit, he asked me if anyone smiles on this floor.

Went to LHOA for a broken ankle 12 hours after an ER visit w/x-ray. They did a 2 minute look and…read moreout the door, and the tech comes in an says more x-rays. OK. More x-rays. Then they fitted me for a boot and gave us one that was L for my XS-size foot. Charged me $550 for the boot. Later, at home, and suffering with this anchor on my leg, I looked up replacement boots on Amazon. There is the exact same boot for $69 shipped. So, $481 markup over the Amazon price. That's a 700% markup. You tell me if that's right. So I buy the proper XS-size from Amazon and when I went for my checkup a week later, I tried to return the original boot, telling them that it was misfitted as a L size for my XS leg and it was causing extreme pain and it was their fault. They told me too bad, no refunds. Went through 2 clerks barfing the same predatory nonsense before the office manager came in to tell me to go pound sand. Imagine having a job where your role is to steal from people. So by all means, do go to LHOA if you want MDs that put profit over people. Also, while I was there, Dr. W yelled at 3 techs in the room across from me, telling them, "I have 3 rooms empty, go fill 'em". Because, you know, can't let that money train idle. And finally, when I went to another ortho, Dr. Penny in Torrington, he found that the inside of my tibia had a fracture that LHOA missed. I guess that second and third set of films weren't enough to catch their attention while they were counting their money. But they sure were right on it when it came to jacking me for $481 over the price of that giant boot that we donated to the VA because I heard that Sasquatch was an honorable veteran. LHOA is warehouse medicine at a concierge price. Go see Dr. Penny at Charlotte and see what kind, competent, and human-centered medicine is all about instead of getting treated my MDs who see patients first as profit (gouging) centers. Unbelievable. It's not just insurers ruining medicine.

He also explained the procedure in detail to the point where I can visualize the whole process. It would appear this Dr. is extremely knowledgeable as well as skilled. I give only 4 stars because, frankly, I have had no work done yet. I might also add that the office is pleasant, and his staff is very nice. So at the very least get a consult with Dr. Stanislaw!

I've come to live with this "groove" of mine and tried micro-needling various lasers and peels yet nothing seemed to help. I wanted to avoid filler because of a past experience with under eye filler gone wrong. I did a little research and came across Dr. Stanislaw's office and his services. I built up the courage to book a consult appointment to see the Dr. with high hopes for a solution. My appointment was booked quickly without issues and upon arrival parking and checking in was quick and easy. The staff was so friendly and welcoming the office was clean and comfortable; in regards to working within pandemic guidelines this office was 100% compliant. Meeting the doctor for the first time I was a little nervous but he was absolutely wonderful and explained everything to me including the anatomy of my face reasons why certain imperfections occur and different solutions that may work while also discussing risks. After a couple of my tears were let out during my visit the doctor explained his plan with me and I was more than pleased. My follow up visit was definitely not a 1-5 minute visit. Dr. Stanislaw took his time and was nothing less than precise. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Once he finished and gave me the mirror to observe my results the joy and happiness of his work was beyond my expectations. If anyone is reading this and can relate or needs cosmetic answers I would absolutely recommend Dr. Stanislaw and his team. They have been the best I have come across in CT and am looking forward towards my Follow up appointment.
