The short story: -They underbid my job and per several other…read morereputable companies and arborists I personally know they could not have performed the work safely at the price quoted. -They advised me to perform services that were later determined unnecessary by several other tree contractors. -They became non-communicative and ended up missing the "safe window" of time to trim the trees based upon the outdoor temperature. -When questioned about the timing of the tree work (oaks can't be trimmed when temps are consistently above freezing) they got combative and condescending. The DNR website later confirmed they were incorrect. In general, top to bottom, their service was horrible. Full of excuses and always very willing to berate me if they were questioned, even when they were wrong. I wouldn't hire them and you shouldn't either.

Promises not kept on estimate and plan installation…read more Grading was done so water flowed toward the house or pooled. They did not grade topsoil so grass seed would grow in all areas. Grass seed was sprinkled in planting beds so have to weed out grass now. The Lacrosse "easy care" grass seed is not and some of it looks like crab grass. The retaining walls have soil erosion through the large gaps. The water feature was not installed per the plan so is too close to the house. I had to argue and fight to get partial fixes. They are not worth the money or the stress! Their plants and trees are nice if you do it yourself. Otherwise don't bother with any other services.

Customer service is everything but this store faltered. when I called last night and they gave me the formulation which did not match The quart made last week. ireturned to the store to inquire about the paint and formulation. Not a good experienc. if the store had been more understanding and accommodating in terms of replacing the quart of the incorrect color, I would've been appeased. Instead I was told it was the right color and they went to great lengths to reproduce that fact and educate me. And were snarky about it. It's the last time I'll go to the grimes store.

I called this location at 4:45pm and asked how long it might take to get a mat black gallon. The associate told me she could do it in 5 minutes. I said great and due to the Covid-19 she took my card over the phone and helped me add on a brush and applied the current discount pricing. I drove over and called from my parking space. They sat the items outside on the ground and then I got out of my car and loaded it up. AMAZING SERVICE and super fast. I will be back for my next project soon!
