Traditional American Brunch place by day which turned into an Indian grill eatery at night. How fun! We tried to find a brunch place on Easter and stumble upon Early Bird Eatery. This was an excellent score! Bottomless mimosas and brunch without the hassle on a holiday- count me in. Our server was extremely nice, which just added to the great experience. I went for it! I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet. It was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and gravied. Our server suggested the hash browns instead of the country potatoes and she was not wrong. Fun fact- Early Bird Eatery does offer bottomless mimosas for $18! Well worth it! I will be back for brunch-that's a given. I also look forward to trying Monk's Indian Grill as well. read more

This is Slop served at Real Food prices. How do you make a pancake inedible? Make it Early Bird. They're severely understaffed, so when two tables are sat in the entire restaurant, you must wait. Food took about 30 minutes so that's something, you think they are clearly cooking to order. Now if only they could cook you something edible!! The food was disgusting. My Southern Benedict had school-lunch-style "chicken" tenders on it instead of real breast meat. The eggs are not cooked to order, those are very clearly pre-boiled eggs (Pssst, Early Bird, Boiled is NOT the same as Poached!). The biscuits were not biscuits at all, I think it was an English muffin, but either way, it was microwaved to the point it couldn't be picked up, the bread just crumbles around. Couldn't even finish this mess of a meal and had to leave with most of it untouched. My husband's burrito was bad as well. He took maybe 3 bites before we just left. I didn't even want to pay I thought this was such a rip-off. Don't waste your time, eat elsewhere or even just cook at home. read more

So glad to have found this place. It's interesting in that it's really two restaurants -- a breakfast place until 2 PM. After five o'clock they serve Indian-Chinese fusion. I went for the breakfast. It wasn't overly busy and I was seated right away. Jeff, my server checked in with me immediately. I ordered an egg scramble and they were cooked perfectly. Slight downside - I was seated with a view of the kitchen, they'll much of it is curtained off. 'm sure if I had asked for a different table, they would have accommodated me. I didn't mind so much as the restaurant was clean and service was excellent. I am looking forward to going back to try the dinner menu. read more

Early Bird is a unique eatery in the Inverness area--breakfast/brunch fare by day, Indian food (Monk's) by night. Locally owned, the service is super friendly, and the restaurant has a low-key atmosphere despite it getting busier as the day goes on. Bottomless mimosas are available for $18 with an entree and the juice of your choice. I decided to go with a more traditional route and tried the waffle/pancake platter: 1 waffle or 2 pancakes, 2 eggs any style, 3 pieces of meat, and a choice of hash browns or country potatoes. Our server suggested the waffle and hash browns, and those were great choices. The waffle & hash browns had the right amount of crispness on the outside. My sunnyside-up eggs were cooked how they should be, with enough yolk to ooze out and the whites cooked. Breakfast is one of those guilty pleasures--you don't always feel like cooking it yourself, so when you go out, you want something that really stands out. They serve breakfast and brunch in the morning, then switch over to an Indian restaurant in the evenings. No complaints there--honestly, it's a smart use of the space. Even though it was late morning, there were open tables and we were seated quickly. Ordering was straightforward. We told them what we wanted, they asked how we wanted the steak and eggs cooked, all the usual stuff. The food took a bit longer than expected, and when it arrived, my over-hard eggs were actually over-easy, and the steak was more medium-rare than medium. It was a generous portion, so credit where it's due, but still not what I ordered. I'm not the type to send food back, so I ate it, but it was disappointing--especially since I was clear about how I wanted things cooked. Service was fine, though it felt like they might have been short-staffed. Nothing terrible, just not as attentive as it could have been. It looks like Early Bird Eatery is a brunch spot by day, then turns into Monk's Indian Grill by night. Nothing wrong with that, but it does bring some interesting scenery compared to your normal brunch spot: Logo and menu photos entirely made by AI. Sushi restaurant layout. Strictly unheard of covers of Top 40 hits playing overhead. Spanish music blaring from the kitchen. Japanese baseball from 2009 on TV. I found this breaky place through its sister restaurant the Monks Indian Fusion cuisine. (They are housed in same location) This visit was as a takeout. We got four entrees to try among us. Eggs Benedict classic with country potatoes (the sauce was so good). Steak and eggs with country potato's. Avocado toast with hash browns, and French toast with country potatoes. From the phone call to pick up the owner was involved. The experience was very good. The pick up time for food was as given. I went a few minutes early to pick up hoping I could get the Marsala tea that's on the Chinese/Indian menu that I had a couple of days ago. I was able to get the tea and sit at the bar briefly to observe the restaurant for breakfast. The ambiance was as expected for a breakfast brunch time frame. I saw the owner engage other customers and they raved of their visit. Love that! The owner then brought my order. He remembered me from dinner visit and addressed me by name. First off, we went for Mother's Day so it was busier than expected, but what a terrible dinning experience. The whole operations was probably the poorest run restaurant I've ever visited. Upon arrival we were told the wait was 15-20 minutes, but waited close to 50 minutes. The whole time we waited there were numerous tables with dirty dishes sitting on them. We had to spend our entire meal (40 minutes) with a table of dirty dishes sitting next to us!!! So gross. No one even seemed to care or take pride in helping turn tables. The hospitality was not great either. The food was not worth the wait. Think dennys or another chain/fast service breakfast. The menu looks like they were printed online from another restaurant with generic images...so it was hard to tell what was worth getting. read more

A place to get away from the chaos and have tasty food for a great price. The service was attentive and so kind! I couldn't decide what to get because everything on the menu looked so good!
