Had the pleasure of doing a dinner at this restaurant treasure for a friends Birthday (June 2026). There was a bit of an online reservation snafu but the restaurant was so accommodating in getting us seated, there were 8 of us. That says a lot about who you hire to run your restaurant, total professionalism. It's nestled in the this great location not far from 1-25 and Belleview on Newport and you can even get there by taking lightrail and walking over a few blocks. So location is super convenient to get to. But my the real pleasure is in the food, always fantastic. I had the MOULES FRITES P.E.I blue mussels, shallot, white wine garlic broth, baguette, paprika-lemon aioli, and French fries; the broth is well sipping worth and wonderful with the toast. I also had the Caesar Salad and it was a meal by its self, I brought it home as my eyes were bigger than my tummy! Great for lunch today as it wasn't over dressed! Others had the RISOTTO CHAMPIGNONS with salmon, the FILET MIGNON - 8oz Filet, Sauce Au Poivre or Blue cheese Sauce; COQ AU VIN - Chicken slow-braised in a rich red wine sauce,seasonal vegetables, Pomme and Butternut Squash Puree and FRENCH ONION SOUP with a Caesar salad. They brought out a birthday medley of fresh berries and Gelato to finish our meal. We also had a few wonderful bottles of the PROSECCO to clink to the Birthday Girl and many glasses of wine! It's a fabulous date place too if you are looking for a bit more refined dining experience. Also, if you are closer to Denver/Cherry Creek, I highly recommend Le French at 9th & Co the sister restaurant with a larger elegant bar and dining area, it is a beautiful space and better for larger groups as Belleview is 1/2 its size and more quaint. Foods mostly good besides very expensive. My problem is more with the behaviors of the staff. They weren't busy when we arrived, staff was kinda just hanging out, but when we went to sit on the patio it was pretty gross on the couches, pillows everywhere, and the table was so wobbly I ended up fixing it (and getting my hands nice and dirty!). Our server was nice, but distracted with flirting with his coworkers ‍ This is something I'm familiar with as a fellow restaurant worker, but try not to make it noticeable to your table who is paying 30-50$ a person. read more

Wow, my fiancé and I came here for Denver restaurant week and it truly impressed me. I came for the escargot. I have never tried it and wanted to. Amazing and loaded with flavor. The SALADE BETTERAVES & FETA was a recipe to take home. Both the beef bourguignon and Le Saumon were ahead of their price point. The only reason for the decline from the 5 star was both my fiance and i's crème brûlée's were unset and actually runny at points. A simple mistake but it did take away from the experience overall. I stopped here for a quick breakfast after working out on the weekend. The space is tres chic and classy. I sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly and service was quick.Nothing was really talking to me on the menu and I ended up ordering a ham and cheese omelet with potatoes. The food came out fairly quickly but sadly it was mid at best. The potatoes seemed overdone and cold and the omelet didn't pack a lot of flavor, salt and pepper seemed to cure that. I came here right after coming back from Montreal and was hoping to recreate the French cuisine I had them. So when I remembered trying Le French years ago at a food event and it's been on my list ever since then but sadly I won't be coming back. Le French has been on my list for such a long time, and I am so happy that I was able to recently try their brunch. It was absolutely delicious, and I can't wait to come back for dinner. The brunch menu was so good, and I had a hard time deciding what to choose. Of course, can't go wrong with the French onion soup and salmon crepe. C'était délicieux! Made a reservation at Le French for a date night with my hubby. We arrived and there was plenty of seats available (but started filling up towards the end of our meal since we came pretty early on a Friday). Abbey was our server and she was great! She gave lots of good recommendations as it was our first time dining here. I ordered the blackberry cosmo to go with my dinner, the Salmon. The drink was good and the meal delicious, it was cooked just right and came with squash puree and peas. Hubby got a beer and steak frites with fries and a little arugula type salad. He also had the sauce with the steak for a little extra. For dessert I of course had to order the creme brulee! It was super yummy. Almond croissant was flaky, sweet, and made me want to take 10 more home. The chai was sweet and spicy and real. The croque madam was delicious. I asked for extra bechamel sauce and the nutmeg and freshness knocked me off my seat. The yassa chicken sandwich was spicy and flavorful and so fresh! Please come here. You won't regret it. While hardly expert on French cooking, only having visited France 4 times, I've frequented this restaurant now 3 times. Remaining steadfast to eating frugally, I ordered the cheeseburger on the last 2 visits, the first time with the blue cheese and last week, with the standard cheddar. What arrived both times was of the highest quality of restaurant-prepared cheeseburgers I can recall eating in Colorado. When prepared this way, a cheeseburger can actually represent a healthy addition to one's diet. In addition to serving up grass fed Angus beef, the freshest of buns lightly toasted in butter, with a truly fresh compilation of vegetables present, this is a thoroughly outstanding menu item, free from unhealthy seed oils, hormone injected beef, and unhealthy, processed cheese. The wilted lettuce and low grade tomatoes so common to Denver dinner plates? Not here, nowhere to be found. Even the tomato piqued a modicum of taste. I'd highly recommend paying the $4 up charge, though, for the French Roquefort. They are generous with it, even providing more than I could eat in one sitting. Worded another way, while I could have easily finished it, in the name of saving a few calories, I voluntarily opted to leave some of it behind, and in doing so, found that more than enough was present to augment this burger. French fries are sublime, with the natural goodness of the potato taste not lost on oil, salt or weird, ostentatious spices. Far from soggy, these were served at the perfect warm-hot temperature and remained slightly crunchy throughout. The setting is beautiful, nestled in the throes of Belleview Station, yet convenient to I-25. Service is perfect. Atmosphere adorning guests is pervasively tasteful and serene, with subdued lighting. I am the first to confess that ordering a cheeseburger at a French bistro is hardly sampling the abilities of the chef. But in light of the above, and my penchant for holding apologetically to a food budget, I can't think of a better way to spend, or invest, in the case of Le French, $19. read more

My wife and I went to Le French on 3/14 for Restaurant Week in the Belleview Station neighborhood. Overall, the evening had some real highlights. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The Restaurant Week menu was fairly minimal in terms of selection, but the food itself was delicious -- we both cleaned our plates. The one disappointing part of the experience was seeing an HOA/PIF fee added to the check. When I asked about it, the waiter explained it was for community upkeep. Even though the amount was small, it felt like a questionable charge to pass along to customers. My wife and I drove quite a distance to dine there, and it's frustrating to see operational or property-related costs pushed onto guests. Fees like that, even when minimal, can leave a bad impression and take away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. It's the kind of thing that makes you wonder where the money actually goes. For us, it felt a bit distasteful and unnecessary. That said, the service and food themselves were very good -- I just wish the check at the end hadn't included that surprise. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered a quiche and it was stone cold when it arrived. Clearly frozen. This was during standard brunch hours, so the fact that it wasn't cooked fresh was an unpleasant surprise. Waiter had it remade but didn't even offer a token discount. There are other breakfast options a short walk away. read more

The only thing was my medium filet mignon was well done and very chewy, but they corrected it quickly and the second time around it was perfectly medium rare. I would definitely recommend. Le French is one of those places you get there & think "why haven't I gone here sooner." I went during a farmers market over there & sat at the bar. The bartender was nice & our food came quickly. The crepe I ordered was delicious & so filling. The coffee was wonderful as well. You know those coffee shops you go to for the first time then quickly realize their coffee has almost no flavor after ordering? I did not have this problem here. It was so yummy. And the price was affordable as well (and $15-20 a person.) I will definitely be back to try the baked goods as well! read more

Le French DTC Belleview Station offers authentic Parisian cuisine with global influences. We dined at Le French DTC for brunch and really enjoyed this casual-chic French bistro. We arrived and were seated in the main dining room. The restaurant offered spacious, informal dining with ample indoor & outdoor seating. The ambiance was delightful, and we loved the florals gracing the entrance. Server Abbey, and General Manager Reid were friendly and ensured we had everything we needed during our meal. Le French had a full coffee bar so we started with Chai Tea Lattes. The lattes had a warm and aromatic base of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, & cloves - a cozy & comforting taste. The Croque Madame was made with classic Parisian ham, gruyère, béchamel, fried egg, & served alongside a mixed green salad. This is one of Le French's most popular brunch dishes and after having it, we can see why. The outside of the sandwich was toasted crisp and generously blanketed in gruyère cheese. The inside of the sandwich was soft and soaked in a creamy cheese sauce. The salty ham added a savory element, and the fried egg with runny yolk oozed onto the sandwich from the top. This sandwich was similar to a decadent grilled cheese that was elevated to new French heights, we couldn't get enough. The Parisian Omelet was made with Parisian ham, roasted mushroom, & gruyere. The omelet was massive and stuffed to the brim with huge mushrooms and buttery, salty gruyère (which made for epic cheese pulls). The Chocolate and Fruit Crepe was made with berries, Nutella, chocolate syrup, & hazelnuts. The thin French-style pancake was filled with Nutella and then drizzled with chocolate syrup. The mix of fresh berries added a fruity, tart burst to each bite while the crunchy hazelnuts provide a wonderful textural contrast. read more

This used to be our favorite place but the inconsistency is getting annoying. Quality seems to depend on who is in the kitchen that day. The same entree will be different every single time you go there. My husband just had the worst Benedict l've ever seen. It was basically two hard boiled eggs on top of ham and spinach. When I pointed it out to the server he said sorry but didn't do anything to fix it or ask if they could do a better job. Came here for lunch on a week day and had a lovely meal. My salad Niçoise was fresh and flavorful, and the salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Our server was sweet and mostly stayed out of our hair, but was available when we needed her. The place was lively enough for a Thursday lunch crowd, but not crowded or too loud. Lovely restaurant with authentic French cuisine. I got the salad with tuna and coffee afterwards. Came for a work meeting and the ambiance was nice. But it was way too loud to hear anything even though I was almost face to face with the person next to me. No wifi. The server was nice and even picked up the person's bag off the floor to hang it back up on the back of her chair for her. But when the wifi passcode didn't work that was the end of the attempt and no follow through. Glad they didn't bother us even though our meeting ran long. read more
