We did not have a good experience here at all. The service was very poor. Our server didn't check on our table throughout the dining experience except when the food showed up at the table. Our kids were out of drinks at that time, so I asked if she could bring them a water. She never brought it. I ordered apple juice and it was warm. (gross!) When I told my server about it, she said "yeah they just restocked the fridge", but didn't bring out another apple juice or say anything further about it. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to come out and when we finally got it, my eggs and my son's eggs were cold. I also asked for over hard eggs and they brought out fried eggs. We were there for over 90 minutes total. My son also had a moldy strawberry on his belgium waffle (what?!!) I made eye contact and waved down our server to indicate that we were ready to pay our check and go, as we had been waiting there for the bill for over 15 minutes. She made eye contact back and acknowledged me, but then just walked away to the kitchen saying nothing. I went to the bar to let them know that we were ready to go and wanted to pay our bill. She came back out 5 minutes later and gave us our bill. They ended up taking the cold eggs and apple juice off the bill thankfully. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The food was not that great. Definitely not worth the prices they are asking. read more

So went to early bird twice for breakfast two days in a row. First day had Huevos Rancheros. I didn't get the chorizo with it but I did get two sunny side up eggs with it (and it came with beans and rice anyway). We also took a black bird tart to go to have as a snack later. The second day I got the chicken and waffles with a fried egg this time and pork gravy(?). The service was good. First day was a lot busier, with it being Father's Day and during brunch rush. Second day, we went a lot earlier since we're traveling and we were the only ones in for awhile haha. The food was good. The Huevos Rancheros came with a fried, and what I'm assumed is, tortilla when I was expecting a soft one so there's that. It was good but would have liked more of that sour taste to balance the eggs (like more of the salsa or a hot sauce of some kind). The chicken and waffles were good. Kinda wish that the chicken was more crunch tho. It was only fried once but if it was double fried I'm sure it would have complimented the waffle really well. The waffles were really good so I'd recommend that one over the Huevos Rancheros just from personal taste. I love coming here. Most of the time, breakfast places are a pain and not worth the wait, but Early Bird is great. It's a little on the pricier side when you add an irresistible cocktail, so I come here for more of a special occasion. Service is always great and the plan is nice, new, and clean. When I dine alone I often get sat at a two-top right by the kitchen and the door sticks open so it can be kind of loud. read more

Don't get me wrong with the three star review, the foods good. But the service was rough, specifically with one waiter. My husband and I were there bright and early one day and he wasn't in the best mood. so when the waiter asked what we wanted my husband was quick with his answer. My husband was in the wrong and I did say something to him and he apologized, but the waiter then went to the back and proceeded to talk so loud about how horrible we were that I could hear him from our table. We were sitting on the opposite side of the room from the kitchen. And this lasted the whole meal. The tables between the kitchen and our table even started to notice. In town for our anniversary, drove by a couple of days ago and didn't realize it was a new location until we looked it up. Our last day in Lincoln was opening day, so we were able to pop in. I ordered the Meat Head Bennie, wifey had the Denver Scramble, and added a cranberry Mimosa. Food looked great, was delicious, service was prompt and attentive. Wouldn't recommend the French toast sticks, they're over-fried which isn't included in the description and were too hard to eat most of them. The syrup given with them was different than what came with the pancakes and in my opinion not as good. I ordered a water and had to ask for it 3 more times before finally receiving it. This is our second time at Early Bird. The first time, my huevos rancheros were amazing, and I loved them. We came back this weekend, and they were lacking much of their flavor. The salsa, pico de gallo, and avocado cream were all forgotten. My husband specifically asked for no mayo on his burger, and yet it came out with mayo.
