Stopped in for a late lunch and was very impressed. It's walk up to order and food is brought to your table. All seating is outside. Interesting and varied menu with a kambucha bar worked well. I've been obsessed with the coffee shop across the parking lot, and I finally felt that it was time for me to try fermentation farm. Their kombucha hands-down has been some of the best I've ever had. I tried the famous tuna melt and also got a chicken taco. The food was good, but not great in my opinion. At that price point, there are a lot of nearby places with quality ingredients that taste better. I do love the mission and background of this restaurant. I read up a little bit about how the food is sourced. Consumers are definitely getting quality products here, but sometimes quality doesn't always transfer over as deliciousness. Again, the food was good, but not something that I'm going to be yearning for. I would like to come back and try the chocolate cake that is also very popular and perhaps the Ramen. And of course, another flavor of their delicious kombucha.

The quality of the food was great and I appreciate how clean the ingredients were. With that it also made the food almost dry. You routinely find tables covered in at least one previous customers mess. The non-waiters ALWAYS attempt to place your table mat on top of the previous patrons toxic spill. Getting anyone to ask you if you want anything is a miracle. The food takes forever to be brought out, not made, but brought out. How can one tell? Because its so often cold. Beautifully made, but cold. If a Health Inspector attempted to eat lunch here, they'd be cited and possibly shut down until they could prove they have a staff trained to keep the place clean. CORPORATE: You need to GUT the staff. Hire people with experience serving people. People who know how to hustle for a tip. We will reward them well. The mystery of how so many Mother's have closed has been solved. Seal Beach, Manhattan Beach, it all makes sense now. Your competitors have moved in with SERVICE. Stop hiring entitled rich kids. A players hire A players. B players hire D players. Which are you?

Greetings, I was…read moresupposed to just do a survey but I'm not so good at tech, so found myself here. I travel for work and go to many grocery stores around the country, and since coming to Cali I've been to several Sprouts all excellently presented, staffed, and priced - but as the kids say, I absolutely love "the vibe" as well as the service, and apparent closeness of literally all the Staff at this store. Katelyn, Bill, Maria, Maritza, Zoe, Jason, Marlene, Allen, Alex, Faith, Todd, Johnathan, JoJo, Stephanie, Elizabeth, and of course DJ Greg are just a few off the top - and I do not exagerrate in saying that all of them have the social skills and smile to be store leaders (even if they're personally chillin'). If all else fails in my life (and it won't of course) - I will crash land back in Costa Mesa and apply for a job at this particular Sprouts. Thank you - Omar from Florida

Manager BILL BREWER needs a raise!!! This review is a bit…read moreoverdue. About a month ago or so I had an issue at my local Sprouts in South County, not this one on Harbor Blvd. I contacted Sprouts customer service which routed me to a noisy warehouse call center where I could barely hear or understand what the customer service agent was saying to me. Honestly, I feel bad for these customer service agents that have to work in these conditions, how can they even keep their thoughts straight when they have 100 other people speaking all at the same time in the same area. I digress. So I get a call back from a Sprouts manager to discuss what had happened. I won't bore you with the details of what had happened, but it was one issue after another that day. As it turned out , for some reason Bill the manager at the Harbor Blvd Costa Mesa location was given my complaint & contact information instead of the manager at the Sprouts where I usually shop and had the issues at. Instead of passing the buck with the typical ," Not my store, not my problem" , which honestly he had every right to do, Bill continued the call with me. Bill was very patient and didn't try to rush me or cut me off and shut me up despite it not even being his store issue. He was so friendly but not in a saccharine sort of way. He also didn't talk poorly about the store or employees that I'd had the issue with. Bill is a positive & proactive person that wants to make things right. I didn't have to ask for anything ,he offered on his own. Not only that, he'd called me back after our initial call to let me know who to ask for when I went back to my local store. Bill went above and beyond when he didn't have to. It really helped to shake off the inconvenience of all the things that'd happened at my local store and then having to deal with the noisy & hard to understand customer service agent center. I wish I lived closer to the Sprouts Bill manages because if the store is anything like he is , what a superb shopping experience that would be! Thank you Bill for turning my frown upside down :)
