When it comes to the disposition of the body of a loved one or yourself, there are no pleasant options. Yet, decomposition forces a decision to be made within a very specific deadline. Across 50 years of providing music services to funerals, I have been contracted to assist with more funerals than I could possibly tally. I have seen a lot "behind the scenes" because I took funerals seriously and always arrived very early to set up before the chapel was opened to relatives. My late husband and I signed up with Earth Funeral when "terramation" was legalized in Washington State--my parents had already signed up for green burial.
