Heather Lyons doesn't call you back or respond well to emails. It so super frustrating & makes this difficult time worse. I've told her she needs to improve her communication, but either she doesn't get it or doesn't care! If the business owner reads this, please show some empathy & see what you can do. Ask her to answer the questions in my email. Is it really so hard?

The professionalism was on par, yet the whole team was beyond kind and empathetic to each family on the human element needed for these delicate situations. We lost my uncle suddenly and it was not only a shocker for my family, but for my 92 year old grandmother who witnessed it all. The need for understanding and delicacy was at it's utmost best- allowing me to handle most of the business to relieve that stress off my grandmother. They were always there when I needed clarification or help on both scheduling for my grandmother's church mass and the Military funeral that would follow same day that is complicated with getting scheduled in the first place. Hayley was our director and I must say, she was the kindest and most positive person I was fortunate to have helping out with my family. I use the word positive because she was reassuring and so sweet when I needed things or clarification asap. She didn't hesitate to give me her cell and to let me bug her anytime while she was still being attentive to other families. It has to be a difficult job to deal with grieving families day to day and still keep the utmost professionalism and sensitive to each person's needs. She went up and beyond with making sure I had things for the memorial that I didn't even think of, no hesitation. Ashley was so fantastic to assist in anyway she could when Hayley was unavailable. I met with her a few times and the kindness she displayed, I don't even have words for. I appreciate them so much, that as much as I don't want to think about losing a family member, I would work with them in the future no matter what. My mother baked them a 10 lb cheesecake as her way of "tipping" and saying thank you for making such a difficult and heartbreaking loss easier than we even could imagine. That is how much she was happy her experience with them. I highly recommend this team hands down.

Over time circumstances changed, and after being respectfully disinterred he was laid to rest with family in Canada. I was at a loss on what to do with our burial spot in Evergreen Garden until I met with Mountain View Family Service Advisor Lakisha Mitchell. Lakisha is knowledgeable and showed understanding and compassion as she laid out options to transfer the space. Within a week I received an envelope from her outlining what we had discussed with copies of all relevant documents and a preplanning guide for my husband and I to review! I am grateful for Lakisha's knowledge, understanding and follow through and highly recommend her services to anyone needing assistance at Mountain View.

There was no communication ever. We are in the process of putting our Poppa to rest in the family plot at Mountain View. So we went to see the family plots and couldn't find Auntie Barbs plot. We asked on three separate occasions. Auntie Barb paid for her funeral expenses in advance. She purchased one of Mountain Views packages including cremation and a memorial service. At her passing over five years ago, my husband took care of the arrangements. On our third try asking, Lakisha finally told us Auntie Barb was in the back room and her cremains had never been buried. They said we owed 1100.00 for her burial. NEVER A PHONE CALL, EMAIL, BILL IN FIVE YEARS! NEVER! When we went in to pay and discuss the issue, we were told they couldn't find any of her paperwork. They were relying on a note in a computer. After a few weeks they miraculously found an internal document showing us the cost of internment was not checked off. They initially asked for 1100.00 to inter Auntie Barb. After going back and forth, out of the graciousness of their hearts, they only charged us 495.00. The price it would have been five years ago. Five years! We're mortified. This has greatly impacted our trust. Shame on you Mountain View. Just SHAME. I have doubts about the cremains. Were they even Auntie Barbs?
