I absolutely love this place. I always tell people that they need to check out the bathroom here- it's packed full of crystals and such a cool experience! I always feel peaceful here and they play cleansing tones and songs while you shop. The girls who work here are always so knowledgeable and sweet! OK, I absolutely love everything offered in Earth Gifts! And although I buy a lot of my metaphysical and spiritual items online from the comfort of my home, this place is so wickedly cool I just love to come in and see what they have. First of all, I love all of the smells right when you walk in. Give me Nag Champa any day and introduce me to a new crystal & you will see one VERY happy girl! They also offer herbs, books, incense and scents for the home, tarot decks, occult items, soap, perfume oil, essential oils, candles and pretty much anything for those who are into more "earthy" things. This is a great store on the westside that has a little bit of something for everyone. And on certain days according to their website, they offer readings. You can book a reading with their in-house psychic, Paolo Santo (30 minutes for $30) or attend private psychic development classes and past-life regressions. You walk through the doors and a massive amethyst geode greets you, along with rose quartz and a huge selenite crystal. Great energy combo! A mystic-techno music blend is playing and mild incense wafting through the store. I was immediately greeted too. The store isn't huge, but that's ok~ they have plenty of everything and anything. My fav part- they have reference books out for you to page through! Among the crystals- an encyclopedia for crystals, in the herbal section- Scott Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Herbs! I purchased a Blue Calcite slab and a resin mix~ I had to restrain myself because I could have easily dropped more money there. It was so enticing, inviting and comfy. I have been a patron of Earth Gifts for as long as I've lived in Jacksonville. The employees are friendly and the selection of various Pagan, Occult, and New Age merchandise is diverse. They moved into their current location on Stimson and San Juan just before my move to Italy (about 2008). The building used to be a lan center for computer gamers, but the transformation from that business to Earth Gifts has left no remnants of what was before. While I do think that Five Points is a better locale for Earth Gifts, I do like the setup of the store much more and it's closer proximity to my house. read more

I do like the location of the store, and the friendliness of the employees, But, I think they're quite overpriced. A box of incense, (same brand, same size) that sells for $14.99 at EG is a mere $9 at Midnight Sun. I have noticed incense burners are significantly higher as well. I cannot speak of the prices of the other items, since that is all I shopped for. I would go there in a pinch since they're so close to me, but otherwise I'd just drive to Five Points and get the same thing cheaper. read more

I am from Nebraska and we don't have any stores like this one near us ( the nearest one is about 3 hours away. ) So visiting family and friends here I made a point to come shopping. And I am so glad I did. I loved this store, I spent just over an hour there. They have an awesome stone, herb, and oil supply, good book and statue area. I've shopped at Each Gifts quite often over the years and I love the quality of the products, but every experience I've had has been ruined by the attitude of the owner (the older gentleman behind the cash register.) I've been a loyal customer, always returning because of their wide array of minerals and books, even though I've witnessed several counts of impatience and general disinterest in helping people with their needs. He treats every customer as a shoplifter and makes rude remarks to customers as well as employees. The final act that fueled this review came as a very unnecessary and rude comment as I was leaving the store, which in turn has guaranteed he will not be receiving my business anymore. I have decided I would rather find the products online than subject myself to the mistreatment of customers in Earth Gifts. read more
