And their response: "We regret that our offer did not align with your expectations. Our pricing is based on market and what we are willing to buy items for, and if you opt not to sell the item to us, you are free to sell it independently to any other interested party." For a business that advertises themselves as giving the best prices for gold, that seems dishonest. If I'd have known I was going to get lowballed, I wouldn't have wasted my time. Just be honest and say, "We're going to give you 35% below today's spot price." How you conduct business is important. How you treat people is important.
