I love how when you entered this store you feel so welcome, this has been the first time in the store my son actually was curious about the store so that why we went in. They have some cute and comfy lounge around clothing, the items are super soft. If you look in the back they do have some items in sell. It a great place just to go into and look around a lot of items that can peek your intestines. Check it out for yourself! read more

This place used to feel more like Spencers--where you got hemp-graphic t-shirts, rude joke props and blacklight posters in the 80s--but this time it looked like they'd been overhauled. Cleaner now, and as friendly as always with perhaps reflectively higher prices. I got incense since I was short on candles, and the lavender is delicious! read more

This store was one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had. The store employees followed my friend and I around the store the entire time and once we selected something, we were told the employees had to hold our items until we paid for them which they did NOT say to anyone else in the store. Shame on you all & your racist staff. read more

HORRIBLE experience. I am giving this rating because that is how the employees made me feel while "attempting" to enjoy myself and purchase something the other day. I was completely uncomfortable, felt judged, and basically harassed. It felt like they thought we were trying to steal or something. In the five minutes we were there, the same employee approached me three times after telling them I was okay the first time. The manager was just as invasive. The sales/store/prices are pretty self explanatory. Also, I've worked retail for a good while and am knowledgeable about a pleasant shopping experience. I would NEVER treat anyone this way. Disgusted! You can totally purchase elsewhere and for better prices and quality customer service where they respect individuals. Their "welcoming" vibe is such a contradiction when it comes to their employees. read more

I love this store! There's a little something for everyone here. And always a great place for gifts. Friendly staff, great manager, clean store. The clothes don't hold up as well as they should for the price, so be careful about which fabrics you choose. I love the wall art and incense selection. They have Venetian masks, lots of sugar skulls, funky cool jewelry, candied bugs, and Putamayo CDs. Oh! They have those Himalayan rock lamps that everyone wants these days:) read more

Earthbound Trading Company is one of my favorite stores. The store at the Outlets in San Marcos has a Zen environment, and cool merchandise. The sales associates are extremely helpful, and nice. Especially, Jacob!! He always makes me feel welcomed. read more

a grown man (employee) approached me and my friend and said something along the lines of "you know people buy those, this isnt a costume store i know thats hard to believe" as we took a single picture in the clearance flower crowns. super puzzling considering we arent children and its pretty standard for people to have fun in stores. no damaged merchandise and we had intent of purchasing things. usually not the type to complain abt employees but ive worked countless service jobs including working retail. never in my life have i said something so unsolicited to a shopper. we left immediately after and contemplated seeing if he was a manager lmao bc if thats your management thats sad :/ wish i got his name but i was so taken back lmao i saw a woman with a husband and child try on sunglasses yet she wasnt hit with "buy something or leave" attitude hope you realize how goofy and rude his attitude was i would skip this store, his attitude ruined my entire shopping trip i wanted to go home after that lol thanks also just read the rest of these reviews and theyre almost all terrible omg lol read more

In general I like this store. A lot of their items are completely useless, but their prices on fragrance oil warmers can't be beat. I much rather buy incense in India, but some of their fragrances you cannot find anywhere else. Cherry Almond for example. read more

I am a fan of the store itself so I will give it 4 stars for its products. However the staff at the San Marcos location do not leave you alone. I understand that they want to provide the best customer service possible but when every single rep comes up to you and tries to make small talk or asks if you need anything it will drive you away!!!! I literally could not walk to any different section of the store without at least 1-2 people asking me something. Most people want to be left in peace when they are shopping and will ask for help if they need it. The staff needs to chill out. read more

Employee's stared at me the entire time I was shopping which is super uncomfortable feeling. I'd understand if I had a huge bag and looked like a suspicious looking person, but I was dressed in moderate non-baggy clothing, with a clutch in hand no purse. I had nowhere to go that evening at 7, so I really took my time shopping and looking at everything. When I only purchased one small item the cashier gestured toward my purchase to the other employee with his head, proceeding to start shaking it back and forth, then chuckling. Like it was funny I spent all this time in the store and purchased something so small or something. The one question I did have about the item I had made the trip to the store for being out of stock, the staff member had no knowledge about it and gave me false information by telling me it was a seasonal item. Earthbound is one of my favorite stores, but I might avoid going to this location in the future if I can help it. read more

I was in there the other day getting some goodies and Jacob I'm assuming was one of the managers, was GREAT, top of the line service! You would think they were on commission by the service they were providing. I love this store in general but you can guarantee an amazing shopping experience and good ol' fashion quality customer service. Highly recommend this store. read more
