I drove all the way from San Antonio to the Tory Burch outlet to exchange an item, but ended up returning everything instead because of the way I was treated. I've shopped here several times before and never experienced anything like this. I asked to try on some shoes, and each time the associate kept the boxes. Then when I happened to be holding one of the boxes that had only one shoe in it, I was followed around the store as if I was trying to steal it. It was humiliating and unnecessary. I may not have been dressed my best today, but that shouldn't determine how a customer is treated. I left feeling completely disrespected and decided not to purchase anything. Very disappointing experience for a loyal customer who went out of her way to shop here. read more

The website says the store opens at 10:00 am - I was there today from 10:00 - 11:17 am, and they were still closed. I was looking for a black belt and a polo. I ended up purchasing the belt from Gucci- Marissa was so helpful! #DoBetter read more

Second time in this store; both times I've been really pleased but today the lady was just beyond helpful, not only helping me but other customers in the store. She helped me find a beautiful purse that was on sale and a cute wallet to go with it. I loved the fact that she wasn't pushy to get a sale instead she listened to what it was that I was looking for and helped while giving me the time to make sure it what I wanted. She made a great suggestion that me being a busy mom and looking for an everyday purse would be better off with a heavier leather that would last with my busy days. So I went back on October 18th and sadly there was no hat. The wrap bracelets were back on sale so instead of leaving empty handed I ended up snagging one in brown. I was still stuck on that hat so I talked to an employee and they took down my information and a description of the hat in case they get more in stock. Fast forward to one week later and what do you know, I have a vm from Gloria at TB saying the hat is back in stock! I gave her a call back and she said she could run my card over the phone and UPS me the hat to save me a trip to SM. Now that is good customer service and deserves a review update. I shop frequently at this outlet location. The last two times have been quite disappointing. I was never asked if I needed any assistance, and I noticed that most people were asked as soon as they entered the store. It is so sad because this used to be a great place to shop! I did notice, so sad to say, that other individuals who might not fit into their "perfect client" box were also ignored. I just came into the store in my casual pants and T-shirt. As we left, the young women at the door thanked us for coming in and to stop by again. I will do my shopping when I vacation in Las Vegas. This is a tiny little store but they have so much crammed into it! Everything is organized by color so its easy to find. Unfortunately you're stuck figuring things out for yourself because the staff isnt too friendly nor are they helpful. Prices differ from the normal store and online anywhere from $20-100. I got a cute pair of Tory earrings that I've never seen online or in the store. I'm sure they were made just for the the outlets so they're cheaper but they're still cute! They have a good selection of small makeup bags and clutches. They don't carry a ton of the big bags but they do have a huge selection of shoes! I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in the area. read more

Hard to beat Tory Birch merchandise at discounted prices. I became a fan when I walked in this store. Somehow Tory Birch had popped on the scene and everyone was wearing the cute, comfy flats with the signature logo. So curiosity got the best of me when I was on the "Fancy Side" of the San Marcos Outlet mall headed to Kate Spade and saw this store had opened. I love shoes and purses so I was hooked once in the door. I stop in about 2 x Yr and usually pick up a purse and pair of shoes or 2. They have great flip flops and sandals, which I usually catch on sale and save $50 or more off retail. Month ago I snagged a simple summer purse at a total of 50% off retail (paid $100, retail $200). I find the clothes too pricey for me, even at the outlet. Hard to justify any shirt over $100. Not saying they aren't worth it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I always have fun with them when I am checking out and trying to decide what to buy. read more

The SAs and Managers here are very polite, unlike the typical snobby SAs at the Woodberry Commons, NY TB outlet location. They are very accommodating and will go to the back room multiple times if necessary to check for additional merchandise that may be in the back. They don't make you feel uncomfortable when asking specific questions and are willing to talk to you if you have issues with older items that you may have at hand. I would drive from Dallas to San Marcos to shop at this boutique anytime! read more

I've been here twice now, and both times I've been forced to wait in a line outside the store, because they only allow 5 customers in the store at a time. I find this so incredibly odd because by Fire Marshall standards the store can hold more than 5 people + employees. This time I did not stand in line to wait, my previous purchase was very disappointing. Definitely not the same tory burch you would find in normal malls. Much lesser quality. read more

the ONLY reason this store is getting more than 1 star is due to its wide selection of items that I haven't seen in actual Tory stores, probably because they're either made specifically for the outlet or because it's just old inventory they weren't able to sell previously. STAFF HERE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, came in to get a new pair of sandals and found a pair I was in love with which they quoted me $68 from the sales girl, Chelzyee, on the floor when I tried them on. Get up to the register and they tell me they are in fact $179 normally and it would be $116 today. I tell them the price I was quoted when they call a manager and I learn that the shoes are in fact $199 normally. After going back and forth with the sales people and this god awful manager who obviously is not worried about what her sales people are quoting customers on the floor, I finally decided this place was no longer worth my time and left to purchase sandals from absolutely anywhere else. Lost my business today and they've been a favorite brand of mine for quite some time. Great brand in regular stores when you're willing to pay full price, waste of your time here in the outlets unless you don't give a damn what you're paying until you get to the register. Don't mind sales tags or prices you're quoted, the staff is less than informed and your best bet is to take the item straight to the register. read more

One of the main reasons I make the hike over to the Tanger Outlets in San Marcos. They usually have a good selection of clothing, flip flops, the ever popular ballet flats, and purses. Although this go around they didn't have a ton of purses. Usually when I go, which is once a year, I grab a pair of Revas, or another pair of flats. They are an absolute staple in my work wardrobe. Retail in Neiman or anywhere else is easily $200+. I got mine for $125. Decent savings. Customer service is quick, but prepared for a crowd on the weekends. read more

Finding size 11 in shoes is like getting the tennis ball back from my dawgs..its a miracle to get it..so when I asked bring me all the flats you have..that is what they did..and also brought me back a pair of black riding boots..needless to say Kat was very helpful and I left with a pair of boots, traveling flats and a cute clutch..the store is SMALL and seating is limited so be prepared however I was quite satisfied with the service! read more

I was waiting in line to buy a bag when an associate offered to swap it for a "clean one" in the back. I said yes and was handed a bag wrapped in plastic which appeared to be straight from the factory. Upon opening it at home it was defective with fraying on the braided straps. Walked in with the intention of purchasing ballet flats, sandals, and a bag. I was immediately turned off by the door attendant who didn't say anything to me, but manged to look me up and down. I walked the store, which is very small, multiple times trying to narrow down options. No one ever checked to see if I needed anything, but I did overhear some movie recommendations by the two gentlemen that were working. Along with some employee gossip by two female employees. My husband and I just left the Tori Burch outlet in San Marcos, and our experience there was fabulous. Ashley I. is literally the kindest, most attentive sales professional we have ever encountered at a retail store. We visited the outlet about five months prior today, and when we came back in this afternoon, Ashley not only remembered us, but she also remembered that we are from Houston, that I am a teacher, and what we purchased last time. Amazing! She searched through their stock in the back of the store to help me find two perfect dresses, and she had so much patience as I tried on item after item. At the end of our visit, she wrote a list of recommendations for us to try while in Austin, from restaurants to comedy clubs to even nail salons. Then, she sent an email saying how much she enjoyed our visit at the store! Wow - customer service at its very best! Thank you for making our experience so terrific, Ashley!
