I hired them to replace all of the windows in my home with triple pane, insulated low E glass at a…read morecost of almost $23K. The windows took 8 MONTHS to arrive from the time the order was placed in August of 2021. The crew rushed the installation and failed to adequately caulk the exteriors and did a lousy job foam insulating the jambs. This resulted in air in leakage around the jambs the following winter, that broke 3 of the new windows! AWD replaced the glass under warranty and gave plenty of excuses for why my expensive new windows were "sweating" and breaking-- both of which were somehow my fault! In the following Spring I removed the casing on the interior of a window they'd replaced and found little to no foam around the jamb. Eventually, I removed all of the casing on all of the windows in the house and without exception, they ALL had very little insulating foam around their jambs. I spent over $130 on foam insulation at MENARDS to do it myself. When I showed pics of the gaps in the jambs, and what I had to deal with to Joe the owner, he laughed and asked if I wanted a job. He said they could use a good "foam guy". His crew came back out last May, 2023 to re-caulk ALL of the exteriors on EVERY window. While they were at my home I pointed out factory defects in the triple pane glass on two of the new windows to the project manager that was in charge that day. He took video of the problems on his phone and ordered replacements. That was May 5, 2023. After numerous calls and texts back and forth to find out where my windows were, I gave up and went down to their office. 7 MONTHS had gone by and now it's December, 2023. It's obvious, they aren't going to back their warranty. This company is a FRAUD. They won't honor their own contract. The warranty is useless. They blame the manufacturer and you the customer, but never themselves. They can't keep employees and they'll rip you off if you let them. BEWARE!! Need more proof? I have pictures, texts, emails, etc. Kevin Compton, Kansas City, MO

There was no phone call, no text message, no email, and no attempt to let me know they wouldn't be arriving. I waited for the appointment, and after it became clear no one was coming, I attempted to resolve the situation. Because there was no communication and the work was never performed, I ultimately disputed the deposit with my credit card company. I understand that schedules change and unexpected problems happen. What I cannot understand is a complete lack of communication. A simple phone call would have gone a long way. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. UPDATE: I hired this company after they came to my home, evaluated the project, provided a quote, and accepted my deposit. We scheduled the installation for Saturday and it was to take approximately 4 hours to complete. The technician never arrived. What was most frustrating wasn't just the missed appointment--it was the complete lack of communication throughout the day. I contacted the company multiple times Saturday by both phone and text, asking for an ETA. I was initially told by phone the technician would arrive around 10:00 a.m., but 10:00 came and went with no technician and no update. By early afternoon, after waiting for hours, I requested my deposit back because it was clear no one was coming. Later that afternoon, I reposted the job on Thumbtack to find someone else. Ironically, this same company responded expressing interest in bidding the project again. I replied that they had already been hired once and failed to show up. That message also went unanswered. It wasn't until after I posted reviews that I finally received an apology. I was told the technician had been given the wrong phone number and had unsuccessfully tried to call and text me. I can't verify what happened on their end, but I can say that I never received any calls or text messages from them that day, despite repeatedly reaching out myself. More importantly, I had contacted the company at least three times during the day asking when the technician would arrive. If they truly believed the technician had been unable to reach me, that would have been the perfect opportunity to tell me. Instead, no one mentioned any difficulty contacting me until after I had posted my reviews later that evening. I understand that honest mistakes happen. A wrong phone number is a mistake. What turned this into a one-star experience was the lack of proactive communication. If the company had contacted me promptly, explained the situation, and rescheduled, this review would likely be very different. Instead, I spent an entire day waiting, repeatedly asking for updates, and only received an explanation after leaving public reviews. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

They asked me if I wanted to have them fix the door instead of replace it. No other contractor I had come to give me a bid told me it could be fixed. I was expecting to pay $6000 for a new door. While the quality of the products is excellent, what has kept me coming back to them is their fantastic customer service. The paint on the out of the door and the inside matched and everything was seamless. The cost seemed very fair for the quality that we needed in an exterior door. Now, the company is not the fastest so if you are looking to do a quick kick on your project you might find someone faster. Basically the cost of a better deal is dealing with their time schedule of when they can get to you. Since they provide quality at a reasonable price, call early and get started with a meeting and education of your options. We had Keven; he's nice, not pushy and but wants to fully understand what you're looking to do. Happy customers, like us will be repeat customers.
