The gentlemen came out two times for a consultation with my manager, then a second time when I was able to meet them. They took the time to offer different suggestions and listened well to my requests. New and different options were also implemented (well done guys). They were very professional, and offered a quick timeline and schedule. Too quickly, actually. But that just explains their drive and initiative to do a good job. A great job. Measuring, Mounting, Leveling, and finishing. My Cabinets look amazing. Co-workers are very happy and appreciative. Could not have been more disappointed with this company. My GC used them for my basement build and…read moreboy were they BAD. They damaged all my Solid core doors just installing the door hardware. They kept messing up the base trim around the house. They had to keep coming out to "fix" their issues, but eventually my GC called out his Handy Man to tear out sections and replace it. Such simple things that I could have done myself better, and now I'm stuck living with this on a brand new build out. Avoid them if at all possible, I would never call them for even something simple. They came out to install some barn door guides and even split the trim and just left, again my GC had another guy come out and clean up their mess. On top of that, my basement smelled like an ashtray for a few hours after one of their guys left. It was impressive just how bad of a job their guys did, they clearly knew they were doing crap work and just left, I guess hoping no one would notice.

( maybe 3 yrs ) This…read moreyear, 2018, we had anissue with the shower we had installed not letting enough hot water through while taking a shower. I attempted to fix the problem by adjusting the flow adustment in the valve, but to no avail. I began thinking that our hot water heater was going out. I called MK&B and talked to Al, the owner, and he came by that evening to check it out. ( I live close to him on his way home) and the next day he called to tell me he would have to order a new valve. ( be a few days to a week) Well about 2 days later on a Saturday morning he called to tell me he had the part and he could come by to install it if convienient time for me. I told it was but I kinda expected one of the people that works for him to come by and install the valve. I got to the house and Al was there to do the work, himself. Al proceeded to take things apart when all of a sudden, he said let me try this instead. Low and behold his sudden epithany, worked. Mind you he came by after bussiness hours, ordered and recieved part, and came by on a Saturday to do the work himself. All said and done I asked what do I owe you?
