I was in the middle of having exterior repair and painting work done on my house in Glendora when the found active termites in portions of the fascia. I contacted James Carter at Eary Termite & Pest Control. He was able to come to my house that very afternoon. After some discussion of timing of the ongoing repair and painting and having the house fumigated, we decided that Eary Termite would come the following week to perform the fumigation. James sent me a contract that evening and we scheduled to proceed. There was some tight spaces that they were able to work around. They were able to tuck the tarps in between the house and some of the close landscaping and saved the plants. A very few plants were damaged which was of no surprise given their proximity to the house. They coordinated with the Gas Co. to turn off the gas and tented on a Friday. They returned Monday morning and had the tent down before noon and coordinated for the Gas Co. to return and turn the gas back on. I really appreciate how honest this company is. Couple of month ago, we found carpet beetles in my house and got estimates from several companies. Almost everyone told me I would need treatments every two or three months, which I didn't feel comfortable with since I have kids at home and don't want too much pesticide around. Can I just start with, James is an excellent business owner who care deeply about his work and his clients. His office personnel however, can be improved. I had major fleas infestation that affected one of my dogs and James actually made the time to come to my place the next day. He came with his office attire with a tie and all :) he mentioned that his team member was still at another job and he didn't want me to wait. Upon treating my house he mentioned that he couldn't really treat the carpeted area because I have stuff all over. The office stuff failed to mention that I have to clear all of the carpet surfaces prior to their arrival. James still treated it to the best he could. He refused any payments as according to him the job is "not done" as it was his office's fault to not mention the pre service requirement. Even after I insisted. I called the office again to make another appointment (so I can clear the carpet prior to them coming). The lady who answered the phone said that she will call me back as she didn't have her appointment book at that time. That's the last time I heard from his office. Different employees come every time, we requested to give us a call before 30 mins when they got here but never called. Always being late, and coming but no one really do anything.
