Stopped here on our way home to the Low Country. Our experience was more than we expected. I had a veggie sandwich and my husband had a chicken sandwich. Both on wheat bread and very fresh and tasty. This place was good. That's my review. No but it really was. Just take a second and think about a nice rustic country place. You got this. The chicken tenders were good. They were hot and crispy no complaints. The fries were well seasoned. But why did they put a pickle on my fries??? It made some fries soggy and fries and pickles don't match. Service was nothing special but it didn't take too long to get our food. Anyway if you want a nice cozy restaurant, this place is good for you. I don't usually have a problem with my order. yesterday the person that did my order didn't put all my order in the bag. Never had to check behind them before. I didn't get my sandwich. I called them and the person that waited on me didn't put sandwich. When they asked her she said she asked me if that was everything and I said yes. I don't remember her asking. so my fault she didn't check the order when packing. Asked for refund for sandwich. Wasn't sure they could give me one. I lost it. I'm probably done with east bay. So we have been to two of East Bay Deli's locations and they were equally awesome. The food is perfect, the staff was friendly and service was fast and everything was prepared perfectly. The decor lends to an awesome vibe. There were lots of classic diner type collectible decorating the locations, bright colors and everything was easy to read, and there was plenty of seating. Both locations had ample parking and the restaurants were clean. Any of their locations are highly recommended. If I had to find one throng I didn't like or could be improved, the prices were higher than similar type establishments. Now, that said, I'm not sure there's an apples to apples comparison out there for them, and even with their reasonably high prices, I'll be back and I will highly recommend them. You definitely get what you pay for there. Definitely worth the stop!!! read more

This is a chain, kinda like many other delis, but I really like this one. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The establishment is very clean so you have the option to eat indoors or on a patio. Parking is kinda dicey what with the starbucks drive thru line interfering. They have AMAZING deserts there. My worst experience at East Bay Deli ever. Attendant really didn't know how to take my order. Ordered turkey sandwich with sourdough bread and they brought the sandwich out with white bread. This was my first time dropping in on this location and I was happy I did! The staff all seemed so happy to be there and they all greeted us. The place is clean, bright, and smells delicious. There were many options to choose from so I just asked if they had a particular item and guess what they did! The cashier was so patience and had lots of knowledge. I wish I had taken a picture before I started but it was so yummy I didn't have a chance. I got the philly cheese steak and a broccoli salad. Used to swear by this place but they've gone extremely down hill. Bad experiences the past few times but after today i don't think we'll be back. Not only is it extremely overpriced , they mess it up 3 out of 5 times. The only time my food has been right was when i worked there years ago. I guess they changed their slaw recipe but it's so watery now and since when does coke slaw have pimentos in it? there were literally 2 pieces of pimentos in mine. i ordered the fried chicken wrap (which comes with honey mustard on it) and asked for extra honey mustard on the side, they didn't give me any on the side or even bother to put any on the wrap lol. on top of that the employees suck for lack of better words, avoid the broad river location and just make the trip to cola. read more
