Galaxy Fence came up with the lowest quote which was selected by the responsible driver's insurance company Geico. Arturo is the owner and truly a fence Master with 50 years experience! His work is so detailed and impeccable. He is quality conscious and does not allow a single misstep. During work, his cable winch puller (to stretch and balance the mesh) was broken. He had his family member deliver another one to my house to ensure his work quality was not compromised. He is nice and kind. I borrowed his home-made sturdy all-metal shovel to chop the root of my over-grown plant. I admire him as a healthy, upbeat and working senior with strong professionalism and customer caring mindset. Thank you, Arturo, the Master of Fence!

I asked him repeatedly if anything else needed to be done, and he honestly told me that everything was fine. He even recommended that I purchase chain oil from Home Depot. so I could take care of the noise myself in the future. What impressed me most was that Mike didn't charge me anything! This was especially appreciated because the technician who came before him had told me that all the bearings and rollers needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,500! Mike, thank you so much for your excellent service, honesty, and professionalism. It's refreshing to encounter someone who genuinely cares about helping the customer rather than trying to sell unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend Mike to anyone who needs garage door service! Outstanding service from Edgar and R&S Erection of Southern Alameda County!…read more I had an issue with my garage door and was initially trying to troubleshoot the Genie opener myself. Edgar came out and did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem step by step rather than simply guessing or replacing parts. He identified that the springs needed to be replaced, and while doing the work he also noticed that the bearings were worn out. He brought this to my attention and replaced those as well. He was thorough, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. What impressed me most was that Edgar took the time to properly understand the underlying problem instead of just trying to make a quick repair. After the work was completed, he made sure everything was operating properly and the garage door was working smoothly again. The pricing was also very reasonable and fair, especially considering the additional work required. Edgar was courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and professional throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Edgar and R&S Erection of Southern Alameda County to anyone needing garage door repair or service. Excellent work and excellent customer service. 5 stars without hesitation!

Also their website, portfolio, information, and contracts are super detailed and clear, which promotes confidence and demonstrates to me they care about their brand. Leo is a true artist. He has a very calming vibe to him. I wanted a gate design that would be harmonious with the Tuscan ranch style exterior of our home and also different from anything that I saw online. At our initial consultation, I had some sketches and couldn't exactly pinpoint what I wanted. Leo showed me color samples and iron accent books. He was the only one that brought this for me to view which was extremely helpful. Basically at the end of our meeting, we came to a pretty solid conclusion of what I would like. His pricing is very reasonable and was competitive with other quotes and I felt he added a lot of insight and artistic value. He didn't put limitations on what I wanted. I was told by other contractors that I shouldn't and couldn't do certain things. I'm glad I stuck with my gut and hired Resolute Iron Works. The gate was delivered two weeks ahead of the promised date. Installation took about 5 hrs. Leo and Jason did a fantastic job. The area was clean when installation was done. I would highly recommend Resolute Iron Works to anyone who wants a gate that isn't a cookie cutter design.

This is the 4th time we have worked with Reuben Borg Fence. They provide professional, quality work…read moreevery single time. Gerald came out to estimate our back fence which conveniently (not) decided to lean over into our neighbor's yard. We accepted the estimate, did one change order (to add extra feet), and settled on a construction date. Today, Gerald, Saul, and Reuben arrived on time and with everything ready to go. Saul and Reuben are amazing! They worked tirelessly all day, communicated so well, and were cheerful throughout. It was wonderful to have them around. I couldn't believe that they were able to put in a 2' retaining wall and 25' of fence in one day - so much digging! When they left, everything was clean and nice. I'm including a photo, but we are the ones who stacked stuff in front of the fence to keep the dog from getting into the setting concrete. If you are considering fence work, I highly recommend Reuben Borg Fence and especially Gerald, Saul, and Reuben. Thank you so very much!

Gerald from RB Fence came to look at the job and provide an estimate. His quote was very detailed, much more so than any of the others we received, and it was the only quote to include a Split Invoice Addendum form for dividing the cost with our neighbor, enabling us each to pay separately and having the amount of each share clearly documented. (This was particularly important because we agreed on an uneven split.) RB Fence was the only quote that came this way, and it really was a selling point, because it made things easier for us. On the day the work was to be done, the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. We were surprised by how quickly they got the old fence down and the new one up. Gerald came by partly through the job to make sure we didn't have any questions and things were on track. I appreciated that he took responsibility in that way. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the new fence and two new gates look terrific! Working with RB Fence was the best choice for this job.

There's nothing like moving into a new home where your absolute FAVORITE thing was the yard, and…read morethen finding out that the irrigation is completely broken! It was literally a scramble drill to manually water every day until we could move in - not exactly the home-coming we were hoping for. Gerardo and his team restored our faith in contractors. I can't say this with near the emphasis I'd like to right now, but it's important. So I'll try. This crew truly takes pride in what they do. They really care. They were meticulous, respectful, prompt with scheduling and work ethic. Every day, (my wife reports) they busted their butts! So let me back up. Day one when we moved in, we found a blowout on the first manifold of our irrigation system. No water to any of the 12 irrigation zones. Beyond that, we came to learn that tree roots and other problems had completely taken 2 zones offline, and there were an assortment of other problems all over the yard. The wasted water (and bill) must have been enormous for the sellers. Gerardo promised me that he would fix our manifolds (all five of them), plumb them into nice underground vaults, and then ensure every plant on the property had water. He did exactly what he said he would do! In some cases, I had to laugh... If I could complain about anything, the watering efficiency is more targeted than I expected. We literally have little spouts from multiple drip lines directly INSIDE several bushes. ZERO waste. I've been running this thing daily to try and coax what were dying plants back to life. But I think my water bill may still be less than my prior home. Our previously dying plants are greening up. Gerardo fixed all the wiring, programmed my controller, and set us up with a VERY automated yard. The work is beautiful! FAR better than any irrigation system I've had before. Gone are our multiple PVC towers. Now we have beautiful, invisible, underground access panels. Our yard NOW does what we thought it was going to from day 1. Do yourself a favor. California Fences (CA License #1099301) caused documented property damage to my private patio at…read more1900 Lynwood Dr Unit C in Pleasanton during a fence replacement project inside our HOA community. During removal of a fence post, their crew broke multiple patio pavers, displaced perimeter bricks, and exposed concrete footing. This patio was professionally installed and represented a significant investment. Photographic and video evidence of the damage has been preserved. The on-site supervisor stated there was "no way" to remove the post without causing damage. That statement is inaccurate. This is the second time fencing has been replaced at this property, and prior licensed contractors performed the same work without damaging the finished patio surface. Since the incident, I have: * Contacted the project supervisor multiple times * Left voicemail messages * Contacted the office directly * Attempted to reach ownership No response has been provided. As a licensed California contractor performing work within an HOA community, California Fences is responsible for property damage caused during the course of work. I have formally requested their General Liability insurance information and written confirmation of repair. I prefer resolution over escalation. However, continued non-response will leave me no option but to proceed through formal channels including CSLB complaint and civil recovery. I am requesting immediate contact to resolve this matter professionally.
