    911 garage door company fix car door motor!!. Two other shops told me door spring damage and unfixable. 911 garage storeis honest and say spring system is fine just need to replace the motor system. Honest with decent job and reasonable price. I highly recommend!!!!!

    I first reached out to Michael on 01/2025 because my door would close half way and it would open back up by itself. He came out the same afternoon, identified the problem, turned a few knobs and screws, and fixed the problem with no charge. I asked him to show me some door since I knew I need to replace it in the long run. He sent me some websites to look at so I can call him when I'm ready. 10/2025 I called him and gave him measurements of the door. The measurements were off so he came and measured himself, I told him which door I want, he told me the ETA was about 3 weeks. Few days later, he called and says the order has arrived. He offered to come for the installation the next day but I had to work, so we scheduled for the following week. On the day of the installation, Michael finished within the estimated 3-4 hours he said. The craftsmanship was excellent and beyond professional. He was very communicative and was very knowledgeable, if I ever have any garage door issues I will 100% be going back to him. The prices are fair and the exact quota is told up fr

Fast forward a year later, the door itself (which is wooden) was starting to rot out. The motor install went so well that I called them again. Cong just replaced the door in about 6 hours and we finally have a completely new set up that's quiet and will hopefully last for some time to come. Cong took his time, and was careful and methodical, which I really appreciate. He made sure to grab me during key points of the installation to make decisions on exactly where I wanted things to be placed. Joseph organized both services and everything was done over calls or text messages. So glad to find company with good people at fair pricing.

They got me a next day appointment and Kris came to our rescue. He was incredibly knowledgable in his trade and very friendly too. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explaining the 4 existing tension springs which were installed at separate times were not bearing weight evenly, which caused the break. He went on to replace the tension springs, and also repaired and reinforced a sagging portion of the garage door. The door runs smoother now than it ever has. Kris is a gentleman with a wealth of knowledge, he patiently answered all of my questions. I also wanted to add the price was very fair. I highly recommend Boulevard Garage Doors.

It is once in a life time opportunity to see a garage door taken down and replaced with a new one. So I sat outside the garage door and watched from beginning to end the whole time Omar worked. I can tell you that the special thing about Omar is how efficient he works. This is a one man company. He does his work all by himself while answering customers calls. One would think that this would distract him from his work. But NO! Because he is so fluent in his tasks on hand being so experienced after working so many years, he didn't miss a beat on his tasks on hand. They got done fast and with proper sequence. It's like he did this without even need to think about it. He completed his work on time too! I think the reason he could charge reasonable price lower than the big companies that have multiple employees to manage is because he is a one man company and he is so efficient that he can pass that efficiency to his customers without sacrificing the quality.     I called and was offered a same day appointment which was nice, even though I had a non-urgent…read moreissue. The technician arrived on time and had called earlier to give me an ETA too. Honestly, the whole appointment was really confusing for me. I'm not sure if it just depends on the technician, but I didn't get that "free quote/estimate" as advertised on Gil's website. I felt like there was a lot of upselling initially, such as pressure to get entirely new cables, rollers, and springs when my initial concern was the gap between the door and floor (potential rodent entry). When I questioned if this was really necessary and that I wasn't interested in pursuing any of those services same day, the technician made comments such as "when it breaks let me know" which was unsettling. Later he did say that I could reuse the rollers and cables I already had to save money which changed the tone of things. He also kept asking personal questions which was uncomfortable. At the end of the appointment, I was slapped with a $721 bill - for what??? Note, if you want to avoid the 3% charge, they recommend paying via Zelle or Venmo (they did refund me the $21 (3%)) since I paid via Zelle. Initially the technician just asked me to Zelle/Venmo him (I didn't even know the amount yet!), but I refused without seeing some kind of invoice first which I did receive in the customer portal minutes later and did pay. Anyways, after the technician had left, I called back to ask for clarification on the services with the price breakdown (learned that it was $175 each for panel repair, motor limit adjustment, springs retention, door rebalanced). I contacted the company again to seek clarification on the services such as whether or not there's standard pricing or if written contracts are typically utilized. I wish there was more explanation on the services. I guess the technician/company could tell I was confused about the situation and at least offered to rectify the situation a few days later which they did. They wanted to emphasize customer satisfaction which I do appreciate. I think the overall experience would've been much more pleasant if everything was in writing and there was actually a (no-pressure) free estimate as advertised. Overall, I don't think Gil's Garage Door & Gate Services has any ill intent and they do value customer satisfaction. Maybe it just depends on the technician. Also recommend buddying up with someone during the appointment to avoid being asked personal questions or reduce possible upselling. Other than that, Gil's work quality seems fine and they are very quick.

However, my overall experience was very disappointing. This installation ended up being our 3rd appt. because the door wasn't received on time. While delays can happen, what disappointed me most was the condition the project was left in. After the installation, Alex pointed out a noticeable gap at the bottom right corner of the garage door and explained that it was due to our uneven driveway and that there was nothing they could do. The problem is that we didn't have this issue with our previous garage door. With the new door, the gap is large enough that rodents could easily get inside the garage. I understand that an uneven driveway can create challenges, but I expected better customer service and a greater effort to find a solution. For example, offering a thicker bottom seal, a larger bulb seal, a multi-layer seal, or another adjustment to help minimize the gap would have shown that the company cared about delivering a finished product, not just completing the installation. In my opinion, a job isn't truly complete if there's an obvious problem that affects the function of the door. The new garage door should look and perform at least as well as the old one, but unfortunately, it actually looks worse because of the large gap. I appreciate Alex's installation work, but I'm disappointed that no effort was made to address the issue or offer possible solutions. Unfortunately, I regret choosing this company for our garage door replacement.

Normally I rate a business highly if they successfully meet 2 of 3 following criteria: Price, Quality, and Speed. Dru and KJ's successfully met all 3 of these criteria. We called Real Garage Doors (Larry) to come inspect the issue and even though he wasn't the one who did the original work, he took the time to inspect and explain what was wrong, and even stayed to help us speak with the other company so they understood what needed to be fixed since we had warranty and paid a lot for the springs. Larry was knowledgeable, honest, and genuine! He made sure we were taken care of even though he wasn't making a dime from the visit. We wish we had found Larry and Real Garage Doors first and would have saved ourselves a lot of frustration and money. We'll definitely be using them for any future garage door needs!

Before I could panic, Mike from Real Garage reached back out and said he could send a technician that night if I got back to him. Larry arrived by 6:30 PM and had everything back and running within an hour. He's meticulous, fast, and professional. I can't recommend this team highly enough. They took what would have been a sleepless night and worry to resolving the problem in under three hours. They will be my go-to maintenance and repair from now on.

They replaced the motor, suggested considering a new door, but we just went with the new mother. Al did the install and it went really well. Fast forward a year later, the door itself (which is wooden) was starting to rot out. The motor install went so well that I called them again. Cong just replaced the door in about 6 hours and we finally have a completely new set up that's quiet and will hopefully last for some time to come. Cong took his time, and was careful and methodical, which I really appreciate. He made sure to grab me during key points of the installation to make decisions on exactly where I wanted things to be placed. Joseph organized both services and everything was done over calls or text messages. So glad to find company with good people at fair pricing.

If I did it again, I would get a written quote, and then get other quotes. 2 Would of like to see a "Price List" for their their work. Tech seem to pull prices from the "sky", then give you a discount. I looked at the invoice and did not see a list price less a discount. Upsell, the tech are definitely on commission. They keep adding and adding things that could be fixed. Example, I was quoted $200 for a single garage door rubber seal... when I stopped to think about it, the price went down to $100.... After a while the Tech stopped trying to up-sell me and did the job in 15 minutes and then left to see this next "victim" Service Tech showed up over 1/2 hour late after the appointment window.. Total waited over 3 1/2 hours for the Tech to show up.... Never called or gave an update of when he would arrive. Ended up calling their office to find out where the Tech was. Work took only 15 minutes... Took 20+ minutes to negotiate the price... I did not receive the website coupon discount. I asked the Tech and he said it was included... I later checked the Billing and did not see the coupon listed on the bill. When the work is quoted, asked to have the coupon deducted from the bill after the quote. The coupon should not be blended into the quote... If they will not deduct a coupon amount, then they are running a scam... (I am only guessing... Maybe the Tech gets anything over a set price?, so he if he quotes high, then discounts back, it looks good to the customer. For example, if the Tech quotes $500, and if the "list price" is $300, then if the Tech then "gives" you $100 discount, the Tech could makes a "extra" $100 commission. Again, I am not sure, but the pricing is very fishy. Beware! ) Again, I would get a written quote and then compare other companies... My repair should have cost no more than $500, they got $700 from me.... I can see how some poor "grandma" would pay over $1500, when she is pressured to make the repairs... Beware

They got me a next day appointment and Kris came to our rescue. He was incredibly knowledgable in his trade and very friendly too. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explaining the 4 existing tension springs which were installed at separate times were not bearing weight evenly, which caused the break. He went on to replace the tension springs, and also repaired and reinforced a sagging portion of the garage door. The door runs smoother now than it ever has. It is once in a life time opportunity to see a garage door taken down and replaced with a new one. So I sat outside the garage door and watched from beginning to end the whole time Omar worked. I can tell you that the special thing about Omar is how efficient he works. This is a one man company. He does his work all by himself while answering customers calls. One would think that this would distract him from his work. But NO! Because he is so fluent in his tasks on hand being so experienced after working so many years, he didn't miss a beat on his tasks on hand. They got done fast and with proper sequence. It's like he did this without even need to think about it. He completed his work on time too! I think the reason he could charge reasonable price lower than the big companies that have multiple employees to manage is because he is a one man company and he is so efficient that he can pass that efficiency to his customers without sacrificing the quality.
