Bev is a gem and runs this amazing business. My GF and I got a rescue dog this winter. I stayed home from work the first day to make sure he felt acclimated but couldn't stay home longer. My heart went out to my new little furry friend. He was still getting used to his surroundings. From the moment I met Beverly, there was a connection that she gets me and I knew she would take care of my family just like it was her own. I'm always worried about my gang of animals when I leave them, especially Mouse who is asthmatic and requires emergency shots if her asthma gets out of control and usually does when she's anxious. Then there is Turtle, the shy one, I always wonder while I'm away if she's going to come out from under the bed but she loves her pet sitter and comes to her easily. The boys (Stinky & Baby Kitty) can be quite a handful and seem to wander further when I'm away and yet the are accounted for each and every day that I'm gone. I love the daily notes from my pet sitter, it lets me know that everyone is well-taken care of when I'm called out of town. I think my cats like their pet-sitter more than me, its almost like I was never gone and they are all happy when I come home. Its also great to know that Beverly and her team are available for those little home emergencies or errands, so many of times I've wondered did I leave the garage door open and had to turn around and come back to check. We are so thankful for Bev and her staff at East Bay Pet Care! We have an incredibly needy cat and dog. We had tried other pet sitters in the past, but when we would return from the trip, our animals were frantic! Not with Bev!! They love her and they get plenty of attention while we are away. When we return they are, of course, happy to see us, but they aren't as desperate. We have traveled for long weekends and even used this service when we traveled for over a week. During our longer trips, Bev's team would even stay the night at our house to give our pets a little more company. Bev, Danielle and Staci have been wonderful! We have been a client for over a year now and our dog has made incredible progress because of the consistent and knowledgeable care that East Bay Pet Care have given him. We have a 5 yr old rescue flat-coat retriever/chow mix that had serious separation anxiety and a dislocated hip. He was very fearful of new people and we moved to find him a backyard so that he wouldn't freak-out inside when we went to work. Bev consulted with us in the beginning and we came up with a game plan for our dog to slowly get used to her and a few members of her team. Danielle started with just spending time with him in the backyard, slowly progressed into the front yard. After a while Danielle was able to take him for a walk around the block and eventually lots of petting a long walks anywhere. What a miracle! He has become super friendly and trusting with new people and I would give most of the credit to the almost daily visits from Danielle, Staci and Bev. We can finally leave Rawley inside all day during rainy days or even at night when we need to stay out till 10PM. He's finally calm at home inside. I can't recommend East Bay Pet Care enough!
