BEST CHINESE FOOD around!! Everything we've ever had has been DELISH! We are spoiled here, when we are out of town and go for Chinese, nothing ever compares to their food! Heard from a few people that the food here was very good. I was majorly disappointed. W got a few shrimp egg rolls to start. They were crispy and generously-filled, but way too salty. Next up was Orange Chicken. It's a favorite of mine, and theirs was OK. Not great, just OK. The coating was too soft -- more like sweet and sour chicken, less the harder, crispier batter General Tsos or Orange chicken should have. Chili Sauce instead of whole peppers, and thick chunks of orange peel instead of shavings. Flavor was so-so, but that made it the best thing we had. The white rice was fine. Lastly, we tried some pork lo mein and pork fried rice (lunch combo). The Lo Mein had a taste. I don't know how to describe it other than mildly unpleasant. I don't think it was spoiled or anything like that, just had something that really turned me off. The pork was also not the nice spiced pork you normally get in fried rice/lo mein, just seemed to be normal pork. The fried rice was the typical yellow-colored, few add-ins fried rice you get at cheap places. Considering it was the lunch menu and less expensive, it was still rather pricey and did not include the egg rolls. I guess the one good thing I can say is that at least you got a lot of food in an order. We will not be returning. My guess is that since this is about the only Chinese place nearby, most locals probably just never ate at a decent place. read more

Being from out of town we gave East China a try. I must say it was not a disappointment, the place is clean the staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a party of five, everything was very timely ,seating, drinks taking our order and the food came out very quickly We were checked on several times drinks were refilled etc. Then to top it off they brought out a big plate of warm donuts as a compliment, they were to die for. We will definitely go back. Ext time were in town. Give them a try you'll like it! read more

Ordered a large shrimp and lobster sauce meal and it came with absolutely NO shrimp . I called to bring it to their attention only to have them absolutely insist that there were shrimp in my dish . I actually had to tell the man that I was eating it and could assure him that there was not even one shrimp in it .He continued to insist that yes , there were shrimp there , and I continued to repeat that I was the one who was eating it and ,NO , there were not any in the dish .Just beware and make sure that you get what you pay for here . They did not try to resolve the issue - I will not be going back there . I ended up hanging up on him . No love lost there . read more

My gosh. This food is amazing. Delicious, hot, and spiced just right. Their General Tso's is amazing and their egg rolls are phenomenal. The staff is consistently friendly and professional. Claims that chow mein does not include noodles. If you Google chow mein you can see exactly what it is. Pan fried noodles. They claimed that fried wonton strips are "fried noodles". They also said some Chinese places say chow mein is pan fried noodles (actual noodles and not a 2 inch bag of wonton strips)... I'm pretty sure all Chinese places say this, not just some. I order take out from here quite often. Never been disappointed. The staff is nice. The orange chicken is my favorite. Nice portion size. Food comes out perfectly cooked. Never had anything bad from here. As usual you get a lot, actually too much but I can get at least 3 or more meals out of a dish, perfect for people who over eat especially the noodles and rice they pack the cartons tight like every Chinese place does but the foods always good. Their crab Rangoon is some of the best I've ever had very creamy and the doughnuts are perfect there best if you go in to pick up your order and then order them so they are good and hot. read more

We have gotten take out from here several times and it's been great each time. The best mei fun I've ever had, even my picky 5 year old loves it. Food is flavorful and not greasy. They really pack their cartons, so it's enough food for 2 days, especially bc we order dumplings and hot and sour soup in addition to our meals. Also try the fried donuts; we brush off excess sugar but they are not greasy and very yummy! The place is clean, the owners are really nice, and the food is great. Even my sister really likes it when she comes to visit and she lives near Bayside NY (where there are a lot of great Chinese food places). read more

My husband, daughter and I are from Oklahoma. We came here because my husband is working in this area. We ate here the other night. The food was awesome. Cooked hot, and very delicious.
