If you are looking for an almost perfect job - these are the guys for you. They seriously do excellent work, but come up short on things that make working with them frustrating. You may pay for a driveway 20' long, but you'll end up with a driveway 19' long. Or they will build a quality, solid wall at the top of your driveway, but the cement coating will crack easliy - or the wall design will look bad (it is hand carved and not stamped). And they don't have a lot of consideration for your yard - our gardens had equipment dumped on them, blobs of cement were dropped in the corners of our yard, and small stones were all over the place. I'm not kidding - they do good work....so hire them - - if you are home the whole time, and stand out there and supervise as they go along. read more

Do not hire these guys. They showed up on time, thats the only good thing we can say, and after seeng the final product we wish they didnt show up at all. Poor concrete pour, forms expanded during concrete pour. Poor concrete stamp, majority of the patio is barely stamped. Poor concrete coloring, the patio is nothing close to the color we agreed to. I was away on business when the East Coast crew came to do the job. If I had been there I would not have allowed this final product, but these guys took advantage of my wife and did an extremely poor job. Have failed to even attempt to fix, repair or some how improve the patio. The bad part is this is poured concrete, stamped , colored and sealed. We are screwed and have to live with the ugly final product. May as well have flushed 10 grand down the toilet read more

We hired these guys to finish our patio by the pool. The finish had bubbles and foam in the finish that we thought would go away but didn't. When we called the owner back to ask about it and to repair it he became irate and threatened us. The concrete repairs he made we're shoddy as well. Very unprofessional and poor work. In July, we hired East Coast Concrete to pour and stamp a patio for us. We paid $6500.00. Initially the patio and stamping looked amazing. They sprayed the sealer on, which we have now determined by the manufacturer of the sealer, that it was put on too thick. As a result of too much and the hot temperatures, the sealer bubbled and was sticky. They did come back the same day to spray Xylene on it to basically melt the sealer and thin it. They did this 3 days in a row and it kept getting worse. We gave the concrete a 2 week break and they came back out in the evening hours (when cooler and not in direct sun) to spray the xylene again. By morning, the sealer was bubbled again, the stamping is worn in the high spots and the coloring pigments have melted into puddles that look like stains. We again contacted them, showing pictures, and asking for them and a rep of the product being used to please come out and try to resolve the issue. They said they would and that they would make the issue right. I have not heard anything since 8/24, so I emailed both the manufacturer and East Coast, asking for this to be resolved as soon as possible, as East Coast wanted explicit instruction from the manufacturer on how to fix it. Within minutes, we received a call from East Coast stating that they were NOT going to fix the problem and we could take them to court. I have documentation stating that they were going to resolve this and make it right. This patio is not something the owner would want as his house to show off his work, and is now refusing to fix a problem that he created. The information we received from the manufacturer even stated that this was their fault as the sealer was initially sprayed to thick/heavy. read more

Our project was a simple stamped concrete patio in our backyard from a mismatched walkway. The owner of the company assured us that it would be done in a timely manner which they failed to keep. As the project ended we were not happy with some of the aspects of the job and they half-ass the fixes that we asked them to changed due to the fact that it did not look right (and still doesn't). After one winter the concrete is falling apart and paint is peeling the patio is cracked in half. The owner of the company refuses to come out and correct their mistake, customer service is one of the worst. We verified with two concrete companies and both stated that it was poor mixing of the cement and that it should not have deteriorated so fast. Beware! A company that you will soon see in the news for all the consumer complaints. Owner Josh is very personable and will tell you everything you want to hear. He'll tell you it will last 20 years. However he only cares about $$$. Any complaints or issues and he will tell you what a great lawyer he has. We paid him $6500 for a stamp concrete patio. After year 1 we notice a crack. 4th year, we have so many cracks its embarrassing. His workmanship and quality is poor at best and uses cheap concrete. Statements he uses... "I don't make the concrete", "I never said it wouldn't crack". I will make my complaint viral and also file it with the BBB and the RI Business board. We are disappointed in the patio but even more with how Josh treated us. read more

He said ok i'll Be there at noon. East coast shows up to my house at 9:30 am I told him he was early and he said I never said noon. I told him we are leaving cause we have things to do. This company came and did a wonderful job on my stamped patio and concrete stairs. They were dealing with an old home (you know, where nothing is straight or level) and did a pretty good job. The concrete design was a stamp of a cobblestone in tan w/ walnut release. The stairs had to be done a day prior to the patio, so it had 24 hours to start curing before the patio was poured. When the release coat was removed from both the stairs and the patio it was NOT a match. 48 hours after the patio was poured the color finally came through (I, of course, panicked!) and now my stairs and patio match and I've happy with the work. The company is going to come back and make in November to resurface the walls and floors of my 1920's basement. I'm not expecting miracles, but I know these guys will do great work and quickly. I have to say, after reading the reviews, I was skeptical. However, I find myself very pleased with this company and the work....and they are insured, licensed and carry a warranty, so if things go wrong, it gets fixed! My husband and i wanted to have a stamped driveway for a while now. After having several companies come out to give estimates we just didnt feel they were right for the job. Driving to work i seen east coast concrete opened a showroom so i pulled in to take a look. After talking to the owners and them showing me samples an color charts i call my husband right away and said i found our concrete guys. Words cant describe how awsome they made our home look with the design and pattern they recommended with the various colors. Great company an great team!!! read more

Stamped concrete job ok. Not the best. Once job is done, very hard to get a hold of them. Would not recommend.
