In July, we hired East Coast Concrete to pour and stamp a patio for us. We paid $6500.00. Initially the patio and stamping looked amazing. They sprayed the sealer on, which we have now determined by the manufacturer of the sealer, that it was put on too thick. As a result of too much and the hot temperatures, the sealer bubbled and was sticky. They did come back the same day to spray Xylene on it to basically melt the sealer and thin it. They did this 3 days in a row and it kept getting worse. We gave the concrete a 2 week break and they came back out in the evening hours (when cooler and not in direct sun) to spray the xylene again. By morning, the sealer was bubbled again, the stamping is worn in the high spots and the coloring pigments have melted into puddles that look like stains. We again contacted them, showing pictures, and asking for them and a rep of the product being used to please come out and try to resolve the issue. They said they would and that they would make the issue right. I have not heard anything since 8/24, so I emailed both the manufacturer and East Coast, asking for this to be resolved as soon as possible, as East Coast wanted explicit instruction from the manufacturer on how to fix it. Within minutes, we received a call from East Coast stating that they were NOT going to fix the problem and we could take them to court. I have documentation stating that they were going to resolve this and make it right. This patio is not something the owner would want as his house to show off his work, and is now refusing to fix a problem that he created. The information we received from the manufacturer even stated that this was their fault as the sealer was initially sprayed to thick/heavy.

After meeting with about 4 contractors my husband and I decided to go with East Coast Concrete. My project was the rip out of an old pool apron and the replacement with a much nicer stamped design. The owner went over the plans and options and I visited their location to see samples of colors & designs. Absolutely everything he promised was completed! He even took the added step of helping to coordinate fence & pool contractors to finish the entire project. I've worked with many contractors and rare is the professional that has complete follow through right down to the last detail. I would

Stamped concrete job ok. Not the best. Once job is done, very hard to get a hold of them. Would not recommend.

So I ended up needing to raise the seawall and I looked high and low for someone to accomplish this…read moretask. These days contractors don't seem to want to return phone calls. I got a little disheartened and called my realtor and I ended up getting in contact with Jamison. Jamison is very professional and best of all will answer all of your questions promptly. My project wasn't that straight forward and had many different facets to it but he managed to deliver on all fronts. My biggest worry was matching the color of the new addition to the old concrete. Jamison underpromised but over delivered. It matched the old part of the wall perfectly. The project was on schedule and the crew cleaned up the site and now I have a beautiful raised seawall heading into the winter storm season. In terms of pricing, while Jamison wasn't the lowest quote, he provided the best value. His crew was able to install flood planks and do pipe work that other installers were hesitant to do. And the true measure of a contractor and a professional is how they handle themselves when problems arise. The flood planks ended up being installed a few steps down from what was initially proposed but when I pointed this out, Jamison corrected the problem no questions asked. I highly recommend Jamison and his crew. 5 stars all around.

Jose came out and gave us an estimate that included burying the downspouts to avoid water dumping on the new patio. He was prompt, communicative, and gave us an estimate in a few days. We scheduled them to come the following week. He and his brother showed up right on time, and promptly began digging things out. I was impressed with what they were able to do in a single day. Because rain was in the forecast, they were flexible on coming back a second day to screed the final paver base. It rained particularly hard and it became clear that there was an issue somewhere. When they came back a few days later, I pointed it out to Jose and he promptly dug out the spot and ensured it was properly filled in and compacted. They finished the job and cleaned up. After the first day, they left the site relatively clean (considering they knew they'd be back). Overall, I would 100% recommend these guys and would love to have them back to do additional projects at our home. They were responsible, competitively priced, and wanted to ensure things were done right.

Jose provided prompt and professional communication, a cost-competitive estimate and quick professional work on site. Their estimate gave me a few options, depending upon my budget. The end result looks great and my neighbors all compliment the "face lift" it has given our front yard. I would recommend Dardah for similar work, without hesitation.
