I arrived 5 minutes early and unfortunately she hadn't arrived yet which means client has to hang out and wait...and wait....anyway, my issue was after the visit. She claimed someone would call to "go over" my results. For the amount she charged I don't get why she can't call since she's the technician. Instead a second person has to read over my private issues. Regardless, nobody called. I waited 2 weeks and after my visit and called her makeshift office. The person on the phone was already irate before I even explained I was waiting for someone to call to discuss my results. "It's all in the email" was her response. I recently went elsewhere and the experience was completely different. I was even provided a robe so I wouldn't have to wait naked and cold while thermo-camera was loading. I asked how long would I wait for results, and the technician replied "a few minutes". I almost cried! How awesome was that. "What good is this device if not to tell us results asap!" She said. We sat down and she went over my scan. I later explained about the experience I had at Lisa's Thermography and she told me to avoid "gypsy cab" therapy. I will!

He has walked off my job 3 times now and I as the consumer was left with the expense and aggravation of having to hire additional contractors to finish the work he refused to complete. He suggested that perhaps I should finish his portion of the job because he will not be working on it. He became very confrontational and behaved like a toddler when I confronted him about the job he was paid to do not being complete. He then lied to the vendor Thermasol about the issue and told them that he is being treated unfairly. He is unprofessional, has an incredibly bad attitude, and has no customer service skills. Furthermore he is careless and incompetent. Run, don't walk, away from doing business with this company.

Of course with any move there is time pressure and we asked Aaron to come by the Sunday after calling on Thursday. Whilst we could only find one jacuzzi technician online linked to Hoboken, who was not very flexible on timing, Aaron made time to come by Sunday morning. Even though it's not super cheap to have someone come by for 20 mins. only (not in the neighbourhood), we found it very reasonable and would recommend - he knocked off some bucks in the end also (I asked). He gave a few tips on maintenance and what we could do if we ever wanted to upgrade anything in the bathroom. Very genuine guy.

I've been coming to the Ship Bottom Lyceum location for years while on vacation in Long Beach…read moreIsland,, and it basically does the job if you just need a straightforward workout. At ~$60 for a week pass, it provides enough of the basics to stay on track, even if the equipment is noticeably dated. However, a couple of issues this week highlighted how much this location is treated as low priority compared to their mainland gym. First, basic equipment and customer service were lacking. When I asked the front desk attendant for an exercise mat, I was told flatly that they didn't have any at this location. When I pressed further about why a gym wouldn't have something as fundamental as a mat, he mentioned I might find one upstairs, explaining that he usually works at the mainland spot where they keep mats and bands. That location is great, but for a seasonal gym open three months a year specifically catering to LBI vacationers paying premium short-term rates, simple fitness basics shouldn't be a treasure hunt. (For anyone looking, I did eventually find a couple of mats tucked away in the corners of the women's workout room). Second, the complete lack of bike parking is becoming a real issue. Vacationers on the island rely heavily on bikes to get around, yet there isn't a single bike rack on the property despite having plenty of space for one. Yesterday, I had to lock my bike in front of the neighboring accountant's office. A staff member there politely asked me not to lock it there because a bike had just fallen into a client's car the day before. Meanwhile, there were about eight unlocked bikes leaning against the building wall, and a couple laying down, partially blocking the shared sidewalk. Adding a simple bike rack seems like a no-brainer for a reasonable business serving an island town. Bottom line: It has most of the heavy iron and basic cardio equipment you need for a quick vacation workout, but management really needs to invest in a bike rack and ensure basic floor equipment and helpful customer service aren't limited to the mainland facility.

The space is tasteful, the bathroom serves its purpose. To be sure, you come to Face to Face NYC not for the "spa experience" but for the men. In my case, Ray. Frankly, I'd much rather have Ray's masterful ministrations upon my flesh, and the aching muscles underneath, than some artifice constructed to "relax" me. Besides, if you aren't relaxed after a few minutes with Ray, there's little hope that anything else might help. Before a massage, I usually tell my masseur that I am quite ticklish. I explained this to Ray before we got down to business. And as he administered the most amazing massage I have ever had I was completely surprised to almost never get tickled. Unlike any massage before, mine at Face to Face NYC with Ray felt like it was really designed for me. It involved a great deal of stretching which felt amazing. And Ray is superbly intuitive and also has a keen understanding of anatomy. And he's wicked strong. Where other massage therapists feel like they're simply going through the motions, I felt like Ray was very present and had a genuine desire to leave me feeling better than he found me. I think Ray is actually gifted for this kind of bodywork. In a way that I, personally, have not experienced before. I had a massage elsewhere a week later and the entire time on the table I could only think of Ray. It is possible that he has ruined me for all others. Many thanks to Enrique, Face to Face NYC's owner, for treating me to such a transcendent experience! Considering that the spa's about equidistant from home and my office, I forsee stopping back in again soon!
