Regular Haddock Special $9.25.   Apparently the server doesn't know what Yelp is when I asked her why they aren't on there.

On our road trip to Red Bay Bruce Peninsula, we decided to venture off the road to find some hole in the wall joints. We discovered this little quaint restaurant buzzing with what seems like a local crowd inside. Amazed that it's not even on YELP radar, so being the good samaritan I am, I posted this location! The menu is what you expect at any fish and chips. What stands out is their claim that they use new frying oil every other day! $10~ for regular and about $12~ for large fish and chips and a special of the day posted on the chalkboard. I don't have a pic of the large but it was quite substantial in size and ample amount of vinegar and tartar sauce on the dining table to go at it. The fish was great - crispy, moist, flakey, with light batter but the fries were not doing it for me. It was alright but not something that would make me crave and want to finish it. But you can choose other sides as a substitute like rice or coleslaw for instance. The fries are why I'm taking my review down to three stars but overall a good solid joint! There must be a reason why people hit this place up, despite it not being on Yelp!

Friendly, cute place. Had the haddock, scallops, fries & onion rings. Enjoyed it all. Batter was light and crispy, not oily. We'll be back!

I ordered the new double smash burger because I havent had one before and was excited to try, supposed to be crispy right? Well I was served 2 regular beef patties after a 15 minute wait. The first item ready for me was fries, I saw them produce it almost immediately after my order and as I stood at the counter waiting I see the staff struggling with their low IQ trying to figure out the order of the family before me. 10 minutes go by as the goof troop behind the counter struggled to read the english on their screen perhaps? IDK. My burger came and I told the server that my fries had been sitting there 10 minutes so he went to get new fries I suppose although the ones he gave me were ice cold after I had finished 3/4 of the most underwhelming burger experience Ive had in my life. No second chance and mailed coupons will go in the garbage.

Obviously this is fast food, however, our breakfast sandwiches were dripping with oil. I tasted more oil in my mouth when I took a bite than my sandwich. There was enough oil left in the bag to cook 6 eggs with. I recommend the location and the lovely staff, however, I would not come back for the burgers or sandwiches.

Unlike other places where you get more batter than fish, the complete opposite is true here, they have a very light batter and the fish is perfectly cooked and their fries would give even the best chip truck a run for their money. We've been here many times since moving to Orangeville and have had the Halibut, Haddock and Cod (our personal favourite) and it's all been excellent. The staff here are very friendly and the service is always quick.

Fantastic ! Up in Orangeville on Labour Day and felt like…read morefish and chips for lunch. Googled said restaurant type and this place popped up. It wasn't too far from where we were, so we turned the car around and headed to it. In a non-descript strip mall on the south side of Broadway, this place possesses the type of décor one would expect in a fish and chips joint. When we walked in, we were greeted by a chipper young lady. As we weren't sure whether they had table service or whether you order and they bring it out to you, we asked her about it. She did both...so she pointed us towards a table and told us that she would be right out to take our order...which she was. We both ordered Halibut and Chips ($14.95/order). Halibut is always more expensive than haddock and cod, but to me, it's worth it. After we ordered, I realized that I had forgotten to request "lightly battered", as some places I've been to offer more batter than fish. By the time I saw the waitress again, she was bringing out our orders. It was fast. Thankfully, the fish is served lightly battered. Fish was fan-f#*@ing-tastic. Cooked perfectly with just the perfect amount of batter. Fries weren't the best I've had at fish and chips joint, but the fish more than made up for that small issue (plus, I did eat them all...so how bad could they have been). They also had deep friend MARS Bars on the menu, but I was so stuffed after my meal that I just couldn't do it. Food was great, service great, price reasonable. Only issue is that it's quite the haul from Vaughan...but when up this way again, I'll definitely check it out. Oh...and have a deep fried MARS Bar.
