Food Truck Friday haul from East Coast Joe's....Maine Lobster Rolls, Garlic Crab Fries & Tiramisu
    CG L.

Definitely our #1 favorite food truck. We get to eat with them a lot more often now that they come to the west valley (Food Truck Friday West & Arrowhead Farmers Market). Today we tried some specials they had & like everything else, they were absolutely amazing. The Lobster Caesar Salad was the best! Also ordered the Lobster Biscuit Tower, which was so delicious & the Garlic Crab Fries just because we can't seem to avoid them, they're so addictive. Really love this guy & his lobster!

Sooooo good! Tried this food truck at Bone Haus Brewing. Lobster rolls are pricy, but it's the real deal. Worth the money! They were out of the banana tiramisu, but the Oreo one was great. Super nice guy taking orders- will be back soon!

    Lobster BLT and Crab Fries

This food truck is excellent! I ordered early online and my takeout order was ready quickly. The lobster BLT is delicious and included good sized pieces of lobster. The crab fries were incredible and have a great flavor mix of old bay, vinegar and crab! This will be a truck we eat at again! Thank you.

One of the best meals I've ever had! In a land locked state I tend to be wary of seafood. While at the Mesa's Farmers Market I came across East Coast Joe's Food Truck. While I briefly glanced at the menu with my friend another market goer walked by and said, "Do it! Best lobster roll I've ever had and I've had them in Maine!" I looked at the price-$22. I said, "That's a lot for a Saturday morning breakfast!" The lady replied, "It's cheaper than going to Maine for it and it tastes the same." I couldn't argue with that logic. The menu stated the lobster was flown in fresh overnight, never frozen and there was a quarter pound of lobster in each roll. I decided to go for it. It was a cold morning and the lady at the window recommended the Connecticut style roll which is dressed with warm butter. It took a few minutes to prepare. When she handed it to me it looked like a work of art! The roll was hot, piled high with lobster and a perfect claw at the top. I never take pictures of my food, but I took a picture of this! The first bite was amazing. Warm and comforting, rich and light all at the same time. My friend and I shared it and both said it was one of the best things we've ever had. When I got home from the market I told my husband about the amazing lobster roll I had. After trying to describe how delicious it was for about 10 minutes, I decided he just needed to try it for himself. We went back for lunch. We ordered him the Connecticut style roll. He laughed at me about how excited I was for him to try it. All laughing stopped when he saw it. He said, "That is art." He took his first bite and said, "I think I'm going to cry. It's so good." I've since tried the Maine style lobster roll as well. It is delicious! However, I highly recommend the Connecticut style for your first time, especially while the weather is cooler. The Maine style is dressed with mayo and served cold, which would probably be the better option in the summer. I will note that with two of the rolls I've tried, or shared with friends, we have found a piece of lobster cartilage. For me it wasn't a big deal. However I do recommend eating it slowly. Everything else we've tried on the menu has also been great- the fries, crab cake burger, hush puppies, but the lobster rolls are the best! ---- I've gone several more times since my first review. Each time has been excellent! Today we tried the shrimp and crab avocado. Delicious!

Caught their food truck at work. They were serving up some delicious sandwiches. No complaints, only yummy food!

Just spent a week in Phoenix. Ate at East Coast Joe's twice while there. The crab cake sandwich was amazing as well as their Lobster Roll. Also had an order of boardwalk fries and crab hush puppys. Very fresh seafood and great customer service. Their homemade sauce for their hush puppies is amazing and their Tillamook cheese sauce is to die for.

I've been waiting and wanting to go to East Coast Joe's for a lobster roll. Today was finally the day. It was well worth the wait !! it was delicious!! I would go back and get it again and again. Not only was the food delicious, the people were super nice!

Absolutely loved the Connecticut Lobster Roll and Lobster Cheddar Hushpuppies I had yesterday from East Coast Joe's, while at The Wandering Tortoise. The amount of Lobster stuffed into the buttery roll was ridiculous! My girlfriend had their Philly Cheesesteak & Boardwalk fries, which she absolutely loved as well. Very fast service, highly recommended you check them out!

East Coast Joe's has the most amazing lobster rolls. The soft bread was filled above the brim with large chunks of fresh lobster. Be prepared to wait in line for their food...their truck had the longest line (at the Ahwatukee Eats). It is obvious that people have heard of the yummy offerings of this food truck. I'm a fan.

East Coast Joe's came to the Province community in Maricopa city. I am from NJ and really miss good seafood since moving to the desert. East coast Joe's was awesome! We got the lobster roll and fish & chips. Everything was fresh and delicious. Even the French fries were fresh cut and the coleslaw was fresh made. Great job Joe! Thank you for coming to Maricopa

While I was driving back to my hotel, I saw a sign that said San Antonio tire shop. I was like COOL! Then I saw the taco truck parked on the side.... I couldn't pass the place up. They advertise fresh homemade corn tortillas. Let's just say these are the best corn tortillas I have had. I will be picking up a pack to take back home!! So because I already had dinner, I ordered 1 asada taco, it was really good. I came back Saturday evening after we were done working for the day. I got 4 tacos, I wanted to have some extra for breakfast. I ordered 2 asada, 1 chicharon and 1 carnitas. I ate all four... they were all good! We arrived around 11:30 pm and it was cold outside. There were about three people working and the guy taking the orders was very friendly. We ordered a few tacos and a gordita. The tacos were of carnitas and the gordita was chicharrón. We also got two Mexican sodas. They also had a complimentary hot cinnamon drink that he kindly poured for us. Our food didn't take too long to be ready. The carnitas tacos were sooooo good. The meat was very flavorful. The salsas were also really good. The gordita we unfortunately didn't like as we did not like the chicharrón. It was just a weird texture and the flavor was a no. By no means is this place fancy but the tacos and the service was good. We paid about $22. I originally wanted chicken tacos but he said they were out of chicken. My friend wanted tripitas and they also didn't have any. Several items on the menu he said they didn't have available which was kinda annoying.. The take card and cash!

I almost went with the Classic, but saw someone with a BBQ Brisket potato and instantly changed my mind. When I took it back into the office and opened it up, at least 5 of my co workers came over to tell me how good it smelled. The brisket portion is generous and tender - and the cheese, sour cream, and green onions are the perfect classic compliment. It was swimming in melted butter, which might be a negative for some. But not for me! I was tempted to give 4 stars because a $10 potato is still pricey, no matter how delicious, but the girls on the truck were awesome and service was quick. (Motivational pep talks obviously aren't my strong point). Literally, my dream come true on wheels. My friends and family joke that in my last life I lived through the potato famine which is why I'm so obsessed with this starch and I really can't argue with that. If you're a fan of the baked potatoes from Jason's Deli (shoutout to the Plain Jane) you'll love these. The potato itself is pretty hefty - it's not like the usual sizes you get as a side dish and the pictures on here make it look pretty tiny as well. In person, these taters mean business, especially with all the toppings they add to make it as tall as your face. This is definitely something you hold tenderly and safely with both hands according to OSHA standards. I got the Original combined with the Cheese and Broccoli because the broccoli totally offsets everything else calorie-wise. The potato isn't dry or hard, but soft like you're cutting into a fresh warm pancake with your fork. When you look down at your place, your tater is bathing in a warm bed of melted butter. It's so perfect, so beautiful ... GET IN MAH BELLY. If you're not a cheese wiz fan, I recommend you don't get anything that has the melted cheese - just ask for the shredded. I've been known to eat an ungodly amount of potatoes in one sitting but I hit a brick wall 3/4 into this with all the toppings on it. I highly recommend the Brisket baked potato if you like a spices (not spicy) in your food. Great price point, totally recommend if you ever see them!
