Okay, I'm not sure how I never realized I could review The Panini People. The Panini People is by far my favorite food truck. One main reason, the personalization, overall friendliness, and obvious understanding of customer satisfaction. I work at Marina Heights in Tempe and have ordered both online and in person from The Panini People and have never once been disappointed. I wish I knew her name but the woman working the truck each time is always the nicest, always greeting regulars by name. I sometimes wonder if she sees our security badges or recognizes faces or just connects the dots by pickup times for online orders. Whatever it is, it does not go unnnoticed. The next best thing... whether you order in person or online in advance, fresh fries are a guarantee. I order online and arrive to the truck and am immediately told, we're getting you fresh fries. Fresh indeed and best dipped in their spicy ketchup. I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of the spicy ketchup but it quickly grew on me. My go to order? The Godfather. Godfather, indeed! Just writing this review is making me hungry! If you see them around, definitely give them a try. I promise you won't regret it! read more

Excellent considering it is just a sandwich. Don't usually eat fries, but theirs are soft and delicious. The menu said seasoned, but they really only have salt on them. Chipotle ketchup was sitting out the sun, so I passed on that. But the southwestern Panini was freaking awesome. Bought on a whim, absolutely blown away. Cleanest food truck I have ever seen, and well put together. Got my food quickly, and was very happy. These lovely people showed up at work today for Food Truck Wednesday and I am SO glad they did! I've been craving a grilled cheese so I ordered one with bacon and tomato and it was just delish! Perfectly crunchy bread, fresh tomato, and the bacon was perfect as well. Pair that with some nice hot fries and you have a fantastic meal! These are lovely people and the food is very reasonably priced,...think gourmet lunch with fast-food pricing. Show the Panini People some love when you see them...you will NOT be sorry. I normally wouldn't eat from a food truck, but they were at my workplace in Mesa and a coworker wanted to go. Oh my gosh! It was so good. I had the turkey jive. I don't remember what was on it except for the pesto and the turkey, of course. I could actually taste the basil; it was so fresh. I'm not normally a fan of french fries, but theirs were good. They were fresh out of the fryer and didn't have that fried food taste. The sandwich bread was the perfect amount of crispy goodness. I also didn't get that sick bloated feeling that I would normally get after eating fried food. Not a fan of the spicy ketchup because it was too spicy, but I'm not a fan of ketchup either.
