I was thrilled with the job East Cobb Concrete did. My job involved a sizable amount of concrete removal requiring large equipment and I was having a hard time finding a contractor. The owner came, assessed my job and said he would be willing to do it, but it would require some patience on my part, because he would have to get an entire crew to come over, possibly after they were assembled for a nearby job. I was comfortable with that and hired them. The very next day, he fit me into their schedule (LOTS of trucks and construction equipment involved). I was thrilled. The owner was on site to make sure the crew knew what was expected, and he stayed to make sure the job was done correctly. I have used ECC for a home driveway project and neighborhood sidewalk and pool deck replacement, including drainage. Both projects involved minor grading and construction of a retaining wall. The work has been excellent and any problems that arose during construction were resolved to my satisfaction. As with any project, weather and availability can cause delays, which I experienced on the larger project. ECC stays busy so you have to nail the owner down for a start date, but once they get started, they stay on task. Punch list items were also addressed quickly. I received multiple quotes on both projects, and ECC has been cost competitive. They do not try to nickel and dime you with change orders but will offer suggestions and fair CO pricing. read more

This review was not solicited. Mom wanted a driveway, walkway, steps up to the patio and a low barrier erected next to the driveway. The driveway rises at a fairly steep angle. The cement was to be dark gray, which was not an issue for ECC whereas another company had reservations about being able to pour uniform color throughout. ECC's price was significantly lower than the competition, which sealed the deal. The ECC team spent a day removing cement, smoothing the driveway and placing the wooden framework for the next day's pouring. A larger crew appeared the next morning and they proved themselves artists. The work is a masterpiece. Mom was lucky to find ECC. Everything promised was done. Thank you! read more

Payman Davoudpour has been one of the best contractors we have worked with. He was referred to us by a friend who had been very pleased with his work. We had a (steep) driveway removed and replaced, also sidewalks and steps. He also did work on one of our retaining walls and added French drains where needed. He also had another solution for a drainage/run-off problem. He was very respectful, on time and his crew was wonderful. The job was completed on time even though there was a rain delay that prevented them from finishing early. We plan to use him for any other similar work of this type that we might need. I have the nicest driveway in the neighborhood now....and my wife loves that it's super flat! Payman, Kaleb and crew were eager to get the job, very communicative and on call for any questions or suggestions. I made some last minute changes the morning of the pour and they quickly adapted the forms to accommodate just as the truck arrived. They tore out the old driveway, graded the soil, ran new drain lines, pulled out some old landscaping and had the new one poured and done in a little less than 2 days. Payman delivered, more than expected. Forty+ year old large driveway in Chimney Springs required replacement due to cracking particularly after a small sinkhole developed. I view such projects as partnerships, not war and I could tell this was going to work after interviewing several contractors. After two intensive and noisy days of removing and replacing concrete and adding a better drain, we realized an adjacent small brick paver walkway was at the wrong level. Payman and his crew did a wonderful job! My driveway collapsed and was a major safety concern. They filled in the sink hole and reinforced it with rebar. Their price was very competitive. They were neat and didn't leave a mess. Previously, I could barely walk up the driveway without slipping, but the new slope is gentle and not so severe.
