Their attention to detail, willingness to adjust plans on the fly, recommendations for potential improvements, degree of integrity, and overall courteousness, are all absolutely first rate. In the fall of 2023 we hired Willow Tree to install the landscaping at our new home in Cherokee County Ga. We were impressed with the design and the price was competitive, however; the impression of Willow Tree soon changed! It started with plants dying fairly quickly and the only reply was you need to give them more water! They did not come out to see the distress for themselves and they continued to die. After several calls and weeks of waiting Tammy, the owner did come by ,took inventory and replaced the plants that were dead. We did however ask about the remaining plants warranty due to the quantity that had already died and she stated don't worry about the warranty because she was not the type of person that would hold you to just one year and that as long as she was around just give her a call and she would take care of any problem we had. Well in August (two months prior to the standard warranty expiring more died, even more than before in particular the ones she had already replanted. It was like pulling wisdom teeth to get her to respond after that. We called, texted, and e-mailed and she was always on vacation. (must be nice) It was only after we finally talked to her and the warranty had now expired that we learned that she would come out and replant again , but for a price WOW! During our FINAL conversation she stated that We were the first people in twenty years that were disappointed with her. Well, we did some research and found a couple of reviews that were very similar. So sad that people have to mislead people to gain their business just to lose it in the process!

Areas were out of control, we wanted trees planted, areas cleaned out, sod laid, and more. We spoke to several landscapers and received several quotes. One thing that stood out to me was that Elite was the only one who did not say they wanted to spray glyphosate all over. The others were adamant about it. Elite fixed the areas up with the goals we wanted for each space and they look great, no glyphosate needed. The crew worked so hard and they cleaned up after themselves each day. The crew arrived early and I enjoyed watching their efficiency (because who doesn't like to watch a good demo and concrete pour?) When I noticed that a gutter drain had not been notched into the driveway, Sean suggested an alternate solution and quickly made it happen. The clean-up crew did a great job. I am very pleased that I chose them for this job.

This company did fine, but the attention to detail and going several thousand over budget despite…read moreminimizing the scope of work was not appreciated. The work they did do got the minimum job done. They dug up plants and landscaping to make room for the new walkway and replanted our meticulously placed landscaping in a disorderly way. For example, we have arranged early spring, early summer, and late summer bloomers in linear order so the new blooms cover old withering each season. They just shoved everything back in the dirt in no particular order so our seasonal blooms are mixed amongst each other and bloom and wither in random pattern. They did not use the correct particle sand to fill pavers so that is washing away and destabilizing pavers after a season. The pavers are cut with huge sometimes two inch gaps around curves and edges. Therefore, the team just packed the excessive gaps and asymmetrical paver placement with wrong particle sand. I asked them to back fill under the low spots --probably fewer than ten different sections of a foot or two stretch--under the fence they built so the dog couldn't get out under the fence. That repeated request was ignored/not responded to, although we offered to pay more for the time and materials. We deliberated over a 6 vs 8-foot fence and settled on 6, but they failed to advise that would not provide sufficient elevation above the very high patio they built to re-grade a steep drop off. So we have an awkward foot or so of fence wall above a very high patio that took two more truckloads of gravel to elevate than quoted. And they broke our water sprinkler system while doing the work. So the sprinkler system that worked before they did their work was broken after and they not only didn't fix it, but said it was due to the sprinkler system being old. Well, don't really care if it's old. It worked before you dug around or near it and it didn't work after. You even told us when you couldn't get it to be functional after your guys did the work and somehow fixing / replacing it is still our problem. Overall, a $30,000 landscape and hardscape job was not done as meticulously as we would have expected. Also, future touch points for follow up work--although we had discussed multiple phases of projects before signing on--went ignored. Don't know what Ted's deal is, but I can say for sure we were not particularly difficult or unreasonable, paid the almost $30k on time and without incident vs $23k we were quoted, and still went ignored, under serviced, and ended up with certain aspects of our home left in worse condition than this contractor found it, costing us even more In the long run.

Do not use this landscaper. It's terrible. There are many reasons…read more 1. They put sod down without trimming the tree in front first. I had to call them 2 times and email and then they showed up. never got a hold of anyone but the answering services. 2. Bad communication, they don't reply to emails and only reply to calls if you are lucky, they do not give you updates while on site unless you initiate it. 3. Did bad job trimming limbs off tree. 4. sod has gaps in it and seems more cut up than it should be. parts of it where brown when put down and have gotten worse even with water and sun. 5. dumped excess mulch and the tree branches in the hill of my neighbors backyard, probably thought it's mine but it's not and i don't want it either 6. I ordered 2 pallets of sod but I suspect I'm missing around 150 sq ft. and there was area to put it. 7. they were supposed to try to go around the healthy grass so that the sod could go further. I can't hold it against them cause the key word was try but when I went out the morning they did it they started there with the machine. not in the bad areas on the side of lawn by driveway. They drove the machine across to the healthy patch on the other side of yard and started there. Even after talking to the supervisor a couple days before. 8. There were several wires found cut. laying with the trash they were taking away. I suspect they cut the cable line which I don't use and a grounding wire. It wouldn't have been so bad if they just told me about it instead of me walking around after the left and finding stuff. 9. I got the bill today but there was no discussion of doing a walk through of their work. 10. they left site like it was done on 5/30 friday. Didn't show up on Monday so I called cause they still hadn't trimmed tree and didn't put sod where they took out the bush by the garage. They came back once to do tree last week but didn't finish. came again yesterday 6/10 and finished tree, suck job of course, dumped tree limbs in backyard and put the sod where bush was removed but they were supposed to also take it slightly in front of it. i had talked to both the guy that did the quote and the onsite supervisor about it and still missed it. Only time will tell if the drain works. Let's pray. I'll put pics if this lets me.

The crew arrived early in the morning and went through the steps they would apply the curbing design and no more than 4 hours later, BEAUTIFUL concrete borders through the property. We loved it and will be using the business to do the backyard addition. Our neighbors stopped by and were very impressed with the beauty the concrete border added to the curb appeal.
