Miss Tina and Miss Lauren were so good to my daughter. She had never been to school or daycare before her year at pre-k with them, and they took such good care of her. She learned so much from them and they are stars in my eyes. I can only hope they're still teaching when my son starts next year. read more

I was at the Swift Cantrel park July 7th and this school had 10 or so children of various ages playing. When my little four year old grandson tried to play on a piece of equipment, a child of about 13 or 14 began stomping his hands as he was attempting to climb up the play equipment. The male supervisor came over and started telling him to "stomp on their hands if the try to come up." This establishment is disgusting. They are teaching children to be bullies and attack other little children. This should be a warning to people with little children. If you see the Sunbrook Academy bus - beware of the bullying and watch you child carefully. read more

This is by far one of the best schools out there!!!! My son was there in infancy, three & four years old. Ms. Kelly has always had care for the kids as her top priority. Even the care for the staff is top notch. The school is clean, the children learn so much and there is never a question as to wether your child will come home happy. The teachers are helpful and go above and beyond. This location also has one of the best prices around and is the only Quality Rated school in the vicinity! It makes me sad to make this review, but I would have appreciated the same feedback before sending my baby. Everything seemed and was exactly what we needed. I noticed things weren't going well a week or two after starting. The director they said they had on staff was never there. I found out she was working at another center too. The assistant director was a doll and was so helpful. Then, she quit. Red flag since she had been there for a long time. Suddenly, there was no real management and the teachers seemed stressed. They needed support. The director would come in when she could. I am pretty sure she had to have been stressed driving so far to this center. I approached them and they said she was the director, but a simple google search shows they were looking for a director and assistant director online. One day I picked up my baby super early for a doctor's appointment. When I went outside, she was kind of far from the other kids on the pavement (in direct sunlight) screaming. She was crying so hard that her whole back and head were soaked with sweat. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt because I could of walked in on a bad time and she could of walked over there for whatever reason. But the teachers were socializing and didn't even care she was not herself screaming. Took her to the doctor for her vaccines and they refused to give them to her because she was overheated. We had to sit there to make sure she was okay and cooled down. Next, I asked the teacher if they could help her with eating a bit. The teacher snapped at me and said they can not force her to eat and do not do force feeding. I told them that I never would want them to do that, but it would be nice if they "encouraged her." The teacher had a bad habit of talking very rudely to me or not at all. I don't know if she just didn't like me, that was her personality, or she was so stressed out in that center. I asked her what my baby's personality was like in school and if she played with the other kids. The teacher acted like I was interrogating her and approached me the next morning with "I heard you didn't know what your kid did all day" response. I had asked the teacher helping when I picked up and she told me about what she did. I just wanted to know how she acted around other kids.. did she play? Laugh? Read like she does at home? Or just follow other kids? I was told " M does what M wants to do." That was my answer.. wow. We noticed teachers were dropping like flies. That is a huge red flag that they were not being treated correctly and stressed in a low paying job. I put in our notice, and they did not make us pay any further. They thankfully waived the two weeks' notice because of the situation. They didn't fight us at all, they said they understood why we were leaving. Lastly, her second to last day was the saddest for me as a momma. I put her in an overnight diaper before school. I didn't feel like finding her "regular ones" when we woke up at 6:50am. The school does not have these diapers at all. I picked her up at 12pm and took her home for her nap. I noticed she was very wet. I put her on the changing mat and the baby had on the same diaper I put on her at 7am. They even put in their app that they changed her diaper mid-morning and she that she was wet. The lied on the report. My baby sat in the same diaper from 6:50am - 12pm... FIVE HOURS. Then when I called, they gave excuses that the teacher had no help. Well.... Maybe one of the 4 people hanging out at the front could have helped change my baby's diaper We obviously decided that this was not going to work and she would not return. I should have been apologized to profusely instead of getting an excuse. Unfortunately, its not my problem that they didn't hire help. I pay them to take care of my baby. Pros: Center was very clean Staff in the other rooms seemed to really care but I think they quit. We will always miss what could have been. My baby is now adjusting well to her new center and its nice to have teachers that give me amazing updates on what she does. read more

WOW, this is the top of the line in Day Care! Super clean, great atmosphere for children and parents. They have a very extensive learning curriculum offering multiple languages, music, sign language and even a sick room for that occasional ill child. They also have extended hours and even offer parents an night out to enjoy without your child while they watch them for you, what a great idea. The price is not cheap. But as the saying goes, "you pay for what you get" but you will be happy about it. Unfortunately, we could not afford to keep Grandson there, but would return if able to afford in the future. read more

Sunbrook at Legacy Park is the best daycare facility I have ever used. The quality of care provided by Kelly ,and her assistant directors Sabrina and Crystal, is second to none. I am the mother of 4 boys, and they have taken part of every class or camp that SB offers. I am not an easy person to please, I am very involved, and probably at times overbearing, but no matter how needy I can be they always make me feel ok about it. The curriculum that even my 1 year old has in his classroom is top notch and he loves every minute of it. The KidReports app that they use helps me get through the day at work and I can check on progress, meals, naps, and activities/curriculum for the day. I love it when I'm at work missing my kids and I can log into the app and see the pics that they have taken of them. I can not say enough good things about this well organized, full of love center, that is our home away from home for my children. We love Sunbrook at LP. They have such an amazing staff who really care about the kids and their families! Kelly is fantastic and stays involved with the kids. My daughter loves the teachers. This is not one of those places that just throws the kids in a room and lets them run wild all day. They have a structured curriculum like a real school. My son went to Sunbrook from 1yrs old till he moved on to kindergarten. My daughter still goes. They have taught them so much since they have been there it's amazing. They love water days in the summer where all the kids get to play in the splash area, pools and water tables. My daughter gets to take a ballet class once a week while there. We love getting the daily pictures and videos to see what she's doing during the day. They are great at keeping us informed of what they are teaching the kids so we can continue to practice with them at home. Sunbrook does lots of parent events as well to maintain a great relationship with all the parents. This place is one of a kind. read more

Our son Santiago, who is 5 years old , has been attending your Sunbrook Academy for 3 1/2 years. As parents, we all wish that we would not need the services of a day care for our children but the reality is that some of us do and subsequently we are faced with the important decision of finding a facility that will provide the love and care that they deserve, and gives us parents the peace of mind knowing that while we are away from them that they are being loved, that they are safe and secure and are learning to interact with other children of the same age group which is so important. Sunbrook Academy has met our expectations in these areas and we feel very fortunate to have had Santiago at Sunbrook Academy for the past 3 1/2 years. He loves the friends he has made and the teachers that he has had. My experience with Sunbrook has been for lack of a better term, awful. The teacher turnover was incredibly bad; four new teachers in a matter of two months. To charge the amount in tuition that they do, which is much more than most daycares, one would think they could hire better help. Each teacher that came through was just a little worse with absolutely no experience with children clearly. Some days I would drop him off and would be told that there was no teacher there to leave him with. I on many occasions had to go from classroom to classroom asking who was going to stay with my child. Something a mother really should not have to do. I would highly advise staying FAR away from this place! read more

I wish there was 100 stars for this, but 5 will have to do. My daughter was born a preemie in 2011. I didn't want to let her out of our site, much less daycare. After keeping her home for 11 months, I thought it might be a good idea for her to be around other children. As a 34 year old Mom of 1, she had never really been around kids. At the time, I lived up the street from Sunbrook and used to always ride by it. I checked it and a few others online and decided one day to just take a peek in. I was greeted at the door by Hope and Kelly. They took me through the school and explained the curriculum to me. They are also super duper clean!! I came back and forth for a few more times before signing her in because I was so nervous about her being looked after by someone other than me. Not once did they EVER PRESSURE me to sign up or anything. They actually would hold and play with Laney themselves and just get her acclimated. I thought that was pretty awesome and saw that it was genuine. My baby started out going 2 days, then 3, and now 5 days a week. She simply loves the school and her teachers. She just turned 2 and the academic scale is awesome! I didn't know what to expect since she was born early, but she is so ahead of her age range. I have to give credit to Sunbrook and their great staff. They continue to amaze me and after over a year, they are still as genuine as the day before I enrolled. I have since moved less than a mile from Sunbrook in Acworth, but guess what, our baby is still at Legacy Park and will stay there! We get up earlier and make the necessary travel provisions to get her to her Sunbrook Legacy Park Family!!! This is going to be long, but worth the read to some parents-- We were having behavior problems and staffing concerns at my son's daycare. I kept telling myself that once he started Pre-K, everything would be fine (I already knew his Pre-K teacher). He hated when I dropped him off and would cry and cling to me, he would often have potty accidents at naptime, and nearly every day, he was in trouble for something. This was at a facility he had been in for two years, full time. We finally decided to explore other options. When we toured Sunbrook, we were blown away. When we saw their curriculum, I noticed that some of what he would learn in his 3 year old class was just taught in my daughter's kindergarten class! We knew immediately that we had to find a way to get him in there. After his first day, there was no looking back. In the beginning, I honestly believed with Sunbrook's schedule of activities and much smaller student: teacher ratios, he didn't have TIME to get in trouble! I realize now that he was "bad" because he was bored. His old facility was truly just a daycare. Sunbrook is a SCHOOL. He is learning so much every day. His crafts are educational, not just more thumbprint art or fingerpainting. He is constantly singing new songs, or pointing out facts that he's learned about nature or animals. He is excited to learn new things, and I am excited to receive notifications and pictures throughout my day about what it is he is learning. He never cries when I drop him off. Even in the very beginning. Instead, he's excited to go see his friends. Everyone greets him with a smile and outstretched arms. He hasn't had a single potty accident at nap and was fully bedtime trained (at night) within a week as well. There are even days when he won't leave!! As in, his teachers are trying to convince him that he can walk out the door with Mom and he can pick up where he left off tomorrow.... This is after he's been there for 9 hours! How is that possible? From a kid who "just hates school" as if that's normal or just a phase. Well, it's not. If your kid hates school, there is a reason. Find out what it is and do something about it. My only regret is that I waited so long. He has a totally different outlook on school now, and I owe it all to Sunbrook, their staff, and their focus on education. They truly do care and take pride in childcare and education.
