My server was Evan and he was very helpful as we discussed a few items on the menu since it was my first time being here. Having grown-up on the coastlines of the country, I really like seafood. I chose the dinner grouper finger plate with coleslaw and fries. I was not disappointed. In fact, this was some of the best fried grouper I've had anywhere in middle Georgia. Fries were well seasoned, shoestring style and the coleslaw was very smooth with no bitterness. The only thing that took me by surprise were the hush puppies. They are sweet and so I had to inquire about them. I found out they were made of funnel cake style batter and not cornbread. They were more like a small dessert to me. Good, but I would've preferred regular hush puppies. Outside that, the meal was very, very good. The service and friendliness of the staff gets high marks as well.
