The family atmosphere drew me here. I read the reviews and wanted to come on down. I also like comfort food, as do many of you. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. But it wasn't a problem because the two girls checking us in were fast. They explained that it's three different buffets. This is where I get a little confused. So, you have the Seafood Buffet, the Country Cookin, and one more. Now we chose the Country Cookin, and it was beyond good. I went back for the beef tips and rice twice. The fried chicken was the crispiest I've ever had. The baked chicken was falling from the bones, and I had that with creamed corn and collard greens. Not many people can cook collard greens or creamed corn. I was very impressed. After my first two plates, I started to sample because I wanted to try all the food, and because each item had its own flavor and the way it was supposed to be cooked. I think this lady and I were about to rumble over the hushpuppies. We were both trying to figure out how they were made. I also had a big bowl of green beans, and I was elated to know these were cooked the old-fashioned way. I'm not a big fan of Blackberry Cobbler. But since everything I tried was good, I thought I should try the cobbler, and ten out of ten, it was the best. In overall this is really a good buffet. read more

They've quit serving steak and have replaced it with oxtail, both are expensive, so what clientele are they trying to bring in? Man what a place to eat at! The wife and I went for the first time today and enjoyed every bit of it. They opened at 4pm today, and we got there shortly after. The catfish is amazing. The collards are real, not just any canned collards. Cole slaw was killer as well. The sweet tea was impeccable. Our waitress did her thing and they kept our table free of old plates. This place has been open a while now and I can't believe it took me this long to try it. I will be back again and again. I wish I would have snapped a couple of photos, but I was ready to dig in as soon as we got there. If your in the Milner area or just driving through, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Country cooking in the country - it's really a thing you should do. Don't overthink it, just go with it. We had a large group, most got the basic buffet but my wife and I got the 2nd buffet (with the ribs). We didn't go for the seafood buffet but it looked delicious - and that's saying a lot from someone who doesn't eat a ton of seafood. The fried chicken was divine. The catfish was a table favorite, I can't recall the last time I'd had any but could have eaten just that. The potato salad was creamy and could have been a meal all it's own. The hush puppies were bigger than golf balls. Everything was fresh and each time I looked up they were replenishing the buffet. The waiter brought out ice cream for the kids and we got cobbler and eclair for dessert. Went for dinner after hearing some good things about this place. They had three different buffet "tiers", so being the "foodie" that I am, I bought the highest tier to have access to the entire bar. The food was average, with once caveat - the fried oysters. They were the only thing made to order, upon request, and they were really great. The rest of the food on the buffet was overcooked and had been sitting there - quite a frustration for the price paid. The service was super great though, which made the experience better. I would come back, but would stay at a lower "tier" as the extra money dind't provide much value. read more

For most part, I love seafood buffets. This one ok at best. Decent fried and boiled shrimp, someone needs to teach them how to shuck oysters. Prime rib way overdone and tough. Asked if they had horseradish. Our server had no clue what it was. All in all, a decent place at decent price. Not sure I will make trek any time soon. read more

Dude! My father lovessss... Southern buffets. I was hesitant since I have a sensitive digestion. Some of the veggies are from the can and not fresh at all. The salad is basic. BUT... THE FRIED CHICKEN... I have allergy pills to help and I will take a few in the day before eating there and after. The fried chicken here is in the top five I've tasted. My father lovessss the clam cakes. He eats at least two every visit. All around good eats. I just wish they would ask local farmers for fresh veggies to have on the buffet. read more

This place was ok at best, the salmon was dry cause it had been sitting out for awhile. The fried shrimp were very small and greasy as were the fried scollops. To be fair I only wanted the seafood part of the buffet so I didn't try anything else , but it looked ok and there were some options like any country buffet. read more

This place is way off the beaten path. It is in Milner Georgia about 10 miles off of I-75 on West Georgia 36. It's a buffet-style restaurant that is only open Friday through Sunday but it is well worth the trip down from Atlanta. We stopped here with our whole family for a Sunday meal and we're absolutely delighted with the food and the service. The people were kind and friendly and the food was good old-fashioned country cooking like I grew up with. They had three different meats, fried chicken, catfish, 8 or 10 different vegetables and five or six different desserts in addition to a salad bar. The room is open and inviting and the people greet you with a warm smile and a pitcher of sweet tea that could put you into a diabetic coma. We all ate until we were stuffed and then sat around the table and shared some nice family fellowship. Will certainly come back the next time we need to do a get-together down this way. The prices were very reasonable at $12.99, $11.99 for seniors and $6.50 for kids (6 to 14!!!) Kids under 6 are free!!! Come check this place out!!! read more

We eat here regularly these days. The Sunday lunch buffet is really good! It's now our go to place. Saturday nights seafood buffet is quite tasty also. My son and his girlfriend brag on the collards and I love the catfish. The cole slaw is some of the best I've ever tasted. read more
