I'm been here several times, since at least 2021. I believe I added this business listing to Yrlp in 2019, but never got around to writing a review until 2025. Unfortunately I lost the FTR opportunity in 2022. The largest vendors are: Walmart Supercentre, Canadian Tire, Winners, Staples, Sport Chek, Marks, and Ren's Pets. Some of the food vendors are Tim Hortons, McDonald's, A&W, Boston Pizza, Plates & Bowls, LAON Korean Restaurant, Hong Cha, Bulk Barn, and Arena Grill & Bar. The are other vendors like optometrists, hair stylists, nail salon, and telecommunications. There is no free WiFi. The mall is wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of free parking. Review 2025-083

I've been coming here to shop for well over a decade. I used to frequent Walmart and Canadian Tire more back then. My shopping habits changed over the years. These days, I have a main set of stores and eateries that I love: - Winners - Staples - Plates and Bowls I love that Winners and Staples are next to each other. I tend to hit both of them. I often find something cool at Winners, be it snacks or a pair of sneakers. At Staples, I still have a love for stationery and office supplies. I especially love the discount section at the back of the store by the office chairs. Plates and Bowls offers a hybrid of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. The chicken shawarma is incredible. I am highly addicted to the butter chicken bowl. It's the perfect, comforting combination of rice, sauce, and morsels of chicken that make me come back for more. The apple slaw salad is incredible! I have probably visited A&W the most. Before Markham got an A&W, I'd get my root beer and burger fix at this eatery. There's a drive-thru, too. I have also dined at Thai Villa. Back then, it offered cheap meal specials. I don't know if they still do. The family who owns it was friendly and the food was decent when I was last there. For food and drinks, you have Boston Pizza, Tim Horton's with a drive-thru (yep, there are two drive-thru places here), Subway, and Sgt. Pepper's Pub. The pub always intrigues me, as it's next to Plates and Bowls. There's a nice selection of stores to shop till you drop. Dollarama. Bulk Barn. Rogers. SportChek. Reitmans. I know that there's a Great Clips, too. I have yet to drop by and check it out. There's also a nail salon. I enjoy shopping here. It has everything that I like and need. (208)

As I entered I was greeted by a very friendly lady asking if I needed help or was looking for anything in particular. I told her I was just browsing so she backed off. As I walked through the store I saw all kinds of sparkly accessories, dresses, shoes, purses and cute outfits. All displays were put together perfectly by colour and many included shoe combinations to go with the outfit. As I wandered about and fell in love with a pair of shoes the sales lady appeared. She explained that their speciality is putting outfits together for people or accessorizing and outfit that someone brings into the store. (she must have noticed the confused look on my face) Perfect!!! I am always in a rush and I am not so good at putting things together so, I picked up the shoes and then......... I asked what would go with the shoes. Yes, I know it was kinda like shopping backwards.... picking shoes first then the outfit. Not bad for someone who was just browsing. Next thing I knew, I ended up purchasing a lovely summer dress and a hand bag to go with the dress and some bling bling bracelets. I left the store with a huge smile then thought to myself now I need a fresh haircut....It was easy shopping and very well priced. I will be back.

Sometimes they take a few hours to go through your stuff depending on volume of people. You can leave or shop around while you wait. Shopping here is interesting. It really illustrates how sizes can differ between brands because there's stuff in large that fit a small person, and vice versa. The store itself is usually organized best they can. A few time though, I did want to purchase something and it had tears or rips in them. But they were being sold at the same or higher price than other pieces of similar style. While I understand the idea is that these are pre-owned, I think they need to maybe review the seams a lot closer before hanging up for sale. It's a bit disappointing to think you found something great at a good value, only to realize it's damaged and you can't really justify getting it.

I came across this store and found out they have multiple locations around GTA. So I went to this location, they had a lot of second hand items available. They take brand name items. They don't just take clothes, they also take hand bags, wallets and accessories. You would simply just need to tell them you're looking to sell. You will need to provide your phone number and a piece of photo I.D. They will send you a text once they have gone through the items. Just be mindful that they don't take everything. They can be very picky too. Sometimes I would bring in a bag of clothes and leave with not being able to sell any of it. It really depends on what they need as they had explained to me before they don't want to over stock on stuff they already have or they don't need for the season. So far, I've sold to them 5-6 times and got back about $30-$40 total. It's certainly not a lot of money but to me it's still something. Before I donate the items, I might as well bring them here and give it a shot to see if I could get back a few dollars here and there.

I went to my car to put away my booze before heading inside. I love a good dollar store. A bunch of Canada Day items greeted me when I walked in. If you love plushies, specifically Ty, you must come here. This store has a huge assortment. As its name suggests, a large Ty plushie is more than two dollars, so the Plus part of the name makes perfect sense. The snacks and food sections always appeal to me. There were lots of spices in bottles. From ramen noodles to Kool-Aid, you can find them here. I was impressed seeing digestive cookies with no sugar added. It was a rare site for me to see such a product at a dollar store. I appreciated seeing them. My dad would be happy with them, as he's the only person I know who enjoys digesting digestive cookies. The chips and dip are located in a corner at the front, closest to the LCBO next door. There was also Old Dutch beef jerky and Twists that I enjoy snacking on. This store looks tiny from the front. It's highly misleading. It's pretty deep once you are inside the store. It has so many interesting items. Seeing a pink craft hammer was different. It was my first time seeing a pink hammer in my life, likely preying on the stereotype that crafty females would like all things pink. Now, if it came in purple, I'd likely jump on it. I ended up getting a couple bottles of pop from the fridge. I had to line up, as there was one man ahead of me. The woman at the store was extremely friendly. When I first walked into the store, she said hi to me immediately. She was equally as friendly at the checkout. I paid with a debit card. She asked me whether I needed a bag. Nope, I was good. I thanked her and happily left with my drinks. You do need to pull the front door open to get in and push it to leave the store. It's the only downside if you require assistance getting through the door or are carrying a lot of items. I was happy to finally visit the store at long last. I'd drop by again. It was a nice change of pace from the other two major dollar stores, Dollarama and Dollar Tree. (200)

Cool phone accessories? Yes, and then some. Gourmet snacks? Let's go! I love the staff here. I recently picked up a huge can of dry shampoo. A female staff member noticed and we talked about how her daughter swears by Batiste. I said that her daughter is one smart cookie. There is a small town feel and rapport that I love at this store. Everyone working here is so nice and helpful. You feel good dropping by. There is plenty of parking. I can enjoy shopping here at a leisurely pace. I am relaxed and enjoy each shopping experience at this Winners. The phone accessories section is amazing. I always find something new and the prices are fantastic. I also loved finding calligraphy pens, including a fountain pen, at this store two weeks ago, which you never do at other locations. I love this Winners a ton. (120)
