As an added bonus Vino Crawl even had their own personal cornhole and kan jam for our party to use! By the time we reached our second destination, a delicious spread of heroes and salad was laid out for us to dig into...all with a live band playing in the background (can't beat that). Everything was taken care of from transportation, to refreshments, to food..even photography! Along with being our own personal photographer, Gary was very attentive to everyone's needs (AKA: LOTS of rest stops). He even let us linger longer at the last vineyard when our time ran out, because no one wanted to leave! The actual vineyards have very strict restrictions on group size post-COVID (even now with NY open) so I would suggest keeping the group to 10 or less. We upgraded to the party bus and was worth it! One improvement I would've liked to see would have been options for dietary restrictions. Lunch was a veggie platter with dips, and Italian hero sandwiches. Our group had a vegan, gluten free, and dairy free folks so we brought our own snacks and they had some of the veggie platter. As a meat eater myself though, the food was great! For 8 people, I booked the Cabernet package which is a 7 hour tour with 3 stops and includes lunch, chips, cheese & fruit platter, water and soda. We also opt'd for the Riverhead Ciderhouse which is a $15 additional cost per person. Our driver, Ray, arrived 20 minutes before our scheduled pick-up time, which was great so we were able to leave exactly on-time. We were in a Lincoln Stretch Limo, my guess is that it is classified as a 10-12 person limo, with 8 people we were fine, but I think if we had a 9th person it would have been cramped. The limo was in great condition and on a 95 degree day, the AC kept us very comfortable. Ray was great, he was super personable and was happy to take tons of pictures of our group and carry coolers to and from the limo. He took great care of us. We had about an hour at each of the 3 stops; our travel time from our pick-up location was about 1.5 hours. First stop was Ciderhouse and was probably my favorite. It's a large and comfortable atmosphere. Next up was Duck Walk where we grabbed a table inside and Ray set-up our lunch. The sandwiches provided were good, but kind of on the small side. 1 of the 8 is gluten free so did not eat the sandwiches and the 7 of us had no issues finishing them off. The cheese and fruit platter was good. The last stop was at Pugliese which is mainly outside with some live music. We brought our snacks from the car in and had them with our wine. Nice vibe but on a super hot day it's a little uncomfortable. Overall we had a really great time and I would definitely do it again.

The ship was not crowded so we had plenty of room to mingle and enjoy ourselves. The outdoor decks are small-ish but as the boat was fairly empty that was fine. All in all it was a great day and I would recommend this as an excellent option for enjoying one of Long Island's most spectacular areas. The Captain even made sure to come downstairs from the pilot house to thank us all for coming and say goodbye. :-) The only reason I'm not giving this a 5-star review is that the boat quite frankly needs a thorough, top to bottom scrubbing - all the surfaces were dirty/sticky and the floors were grimy (yes, I know it's a marine environment and dampness is part of being on a boat... but this was more than just the "sea air!"). A few hours with a power washer (and carpet steamer) would do wonders! The paint needs refreshing too - even if just the railings, which stood out the most as old/worn looking. Bottom line, I'd recommend it and I'd go again... but I'd love to see the Lauren Kristy gleam the way she could with a detailing and a bit of fresh paint!

It's a shame because the grounds are beautiful, the staff that sat and served were very friendly. I was really looking forward to this visit. In email I was sent the menu, reservation policy, and a form to fill out with the option to pre order the mixed flight ($30 per person) or antipasto ahead of time. I had confirmed in written email that I had a group of 8 and I filled out the form for "number of guests at $30 per person" as 1. Everyone else in my group planned to order from the regular menu and do a couple of bottles for the table. When I arrived it was very disorganized and understaffed, with a big wait time to be seated and served. We were sitting for maybe a half hour before someone addressed us. When they did, they came out with 8 sets of the mixed flights! I said that I filled it out for 1 and that everyone else was ordering from the menu. So she went back to check with the manager, Julie. Before Julie even spoke I could feel a combative energy when approaching me. She said she "assumed" the 1 that I put for the mixed flight was "a typo" and couldn't respond to me as to why she didn't communicate the confusion. She said the group number applies to the number of flights. She said she can't just have everyone else "sitting around" and I assured her that everyone was getting something from the regular menu. She said that she never had a problem before and asked me if I even read the information that was sent to me. So basically if you do a group reservation, everyone is forced to do the mixed flight. Even if someone else wants the red flight which is not an option to pre order. She said we would need to order the mixed flights first to be able to order a bottle from the regular menu. No where did it say any of this ANYWHERE on this information sheet. I did in fact read it multiple times and had my group read it before making reservations. After going back and forth with me, she then says "you know what, do whatever you want to do so you can have a good day" very passive aggressively as if I offended her and walks away. Her tone was extremely condescending. My whole group was in shock and very uncomfortable. At this point we had been here for an hour and we were deciding what to do from here. The waitress came back and asked what we wanted to do and I said I wasn't sure because I am uncomfortable with how I was spoken to. She was very sweet and was understanding. She told us whatever we wanted to do if we wanted to stay, we can let her know what we want, which put us more at ease. I asked her for a couple of minutes and she said no problem just to grab her since she's all around. We couldn't find her after that and decided to leave. As a customer, I am appalled by the behavior of the manager. This was not professional or appropriate conduct. I feel for the staff who seem to be doing their best with the given situation.
