I've been a patient at this practice since 2006. I've always had a good experience minus one cleaning appointment but that was a number of years ago. I'm currently a patient of Dr. Astor. She is an outstanding oral surgeon. She's very gentile and precise and fully explains what the steps are. I've had several horror stories with a few dentists up here whose names will not be mentioned but research larger practices that have offices in different nearby counties. Terrible customer service. The front desk manager KIM was so rude and not respectful. They made a mistake setting my appointment, changed without my confirmation to the day after of the call. I called back before the appointment to changed someone put me on hold for several minutes. Called after and the manager with an aptitude didn't even apologize for the mistake, put me on hold for more than 15 minutes to listen the "voicemail" like I was lying. At the end, give me an appointment for the same day but later and hold on me when I was talking. I don't know what kind of people do you have working there specifically as a manager. Unfortunately, my experience with this orthodontic office has been frustrating and disappointing. While the clinical care itself was generally fine, the communication and billing practices have caused significant stress. I began treatment in 2023 believing my insurance (Cigna) was accepted--only to be told after the braces were placed that it was not. After much back and forth, the office agreed to honor the insurance. However, I recently learned--on the day of my braces removal June 2025--that there was a balance due to an insurance change back in 2024. Despite my many follow ups, and the billing department knowing I'd have a balance due in December 2024, This was the first time I was made aware of any outstanding amount. To be told I owed a balance due the day I am scheduled for removal without any previous communication or breakdown of charges, felt unprofessional and unfair. Worse, I was informed that they would not remove the braces unless I paid in full that same day, which felt like a coercive tactic rather than responsible patient care. I had even attempted to communicate in advance regarding any balance and had requested a payment plan if one was truly necessary. My requests were ignored. They have threatened me with collections even though I told them I would pay, but need a payment plan. This experience has left me feeling taken advantage of and disrespected as a patient, and shows total disregard to my oral health as I am now left to find a new orthopedist to remove my braces. I hope others ask detailed questions about billing and coverage up front, and I strongly urge the office to improve their transparency and communication going forward. read more

STAY FAR AWAY. Worst dental office I have ever been too manly because of the attitudes within the office. When I had went there the last time the dental higenist started rating my teeth, how rude. She made me feel super uncomfortable... I had then had a sore tooth and waited THREE MONTHS to see the oral surgeon, but the day before the office cancelled and all the receptionist was worried about was the fact that " It wasn't me who called you". CHECK IN: my appointment is for 11:50 which I found strange. Especially since my call was regarding a dental emergency. I arrived to the parking lot by 11:15 AM, more than half an hour early. So I called in to the receptionist to see if I should come in early or wait in my car. She said the appointments were on schedule with mine being 11:50 AM so I opted to wait in my car and catch up on email. At 11:42 ( 8 minutes early). As soon as I opened the door, a MEDICAL TECH greeted me in full on PPE, took my temperature and oxygen level, and my phone number then asked me to wait outside since all seats were occupied. The waiting room was very full, but seemed adequately social-distanced. Based on the look of the waiting room, I had doubts that my 11:50 AM appointment would really be honored. I WAS RIGHT: 12:03 PM Still waiting outside and observed at least 8 more arrivals, some who did not come back out. 12:15- THE TECH came out to wipe down the door ( points for that), but did not know how much longer I would wait. ( "they are pretty busy". I communicated to him that the reason I was here was for a dental emergency. He went to check in on the status of my appointment. 12:20 (1/2 hour after my scheduled appointment), still waiting. SO FAR, they are losing points for seriously overbooking. I hope it's not a dental "mill". Based on the constant stream of patients entering the office. FINALLY BROUGHT INSIDE FOR MY X-RAYS. Remember, I'm here for a dental emergency and experiencing nerve pain. THE EXAM: Caitlin took a full set of X-rays ( nice and professional) she was interrupted at least three times during my x-ray session. I find that extremely rude and disrespectful of my time. And I found it disrespectful of her time as she was doing her very best. Taking a star off for that but not for Caitlin. DENTIST REVIEW: Dr Kaufmann reviewed X-rays with me. He took time to answer some of my questions and was pleasant and courteous. Determination: The molar is broken and the root has been affected. he claimed that he will present his findings and ask for approval from my insurance company. But quickly added a disclaimer that he did not think they will approve it ( I sense that if I still had private insurance there may have been more discussion). We'll see. Since I don't want to lose the tooth, I told him to put together a backup plan/cost to save the tooth. I was surprised that I have to wait another two weeks with nerve pain before I will undergo any treatment. I'm not sure how I feel about this dental practice yet. I'll report back. . I booked an appointment for a root canal and crown, pending the insurance response about coverage. INITIAL VISIT RATING : Wait-time 2 stars since the appointment time was not met leaving me waiting for an extra 45 minutes. X-RAY 4.5 stars because of Caitlin. Left with more problems than I came with. Was supposed to be getting a cavity filled but instead left with my nerves exposed. Of corse it was right when I was moving to a new state so it's been weeks with eating on one side of my mouth, can't put any pressure on three teeth or it hurts like hell, and can't eat anything cold or hot on that side. On top of that he didn't communicate he was taking out a silver filling I had. With no communication and then having to try multiple times to put in a new filling, this business is untrustworthy. Why make someone who is already afraid of the dentist even more afraid of the dentist by being a jerk by not cutting a wire that was broken, and therefore, the broken wire was poking the hole where my tooth was extracted. My children have been going to them after a problem with their previous dentist. We have not had to many cavities because they have done a thorough job making sure we haven't gotten to many problems. And sent my youngest to a specialist. I live Dr. Coffman and he actually recently saved me with antibiotics that my doctors etc couldn't figure out that I was having a problem until I felt tooth pain! If i could give 0 stars, I would. Their scheduling system is HORRIBLE, I was scheduled on March 8th, 8:00 AM. I got a phone call RESCHEDULING because Dr. JJ had a "Family emergency" ok fine. Then I was scheduled to get work done on April 24th, Today at 8 AM. I arrive to the dentist and they're CLOSED. I waited in the parking lot until about 8:45, They gave me NUMEROUS excuses on why i now couldn't be seen. "The doctor is stuck on the bridge." "the new girl was supposed to reschedule you" "We're training new people" "Our hours recently changed, You should've got a phone call." Nope. I got a phone call CONFIRMING the same appointment. I went to have an implant recently and within a year it had failed - they then asked me to come it to take a look at it and they then wanted to charge me again for that visit and to remedy their poor quality of work. The implant took several hours even though they normally take far less time. The dentist initially placed the wrong size implant and then decided to change it. The crown was so much larger than the rest of my teeth that it looks ridiculous. They may be ok at extracting, cleaning, or general hygiene services but please do not risk having them perform implants. read more

On 10/26/21, I had a consultation with the Periodontist. Her services were awefully inadequate and extremely poor quality. She hardly spent enough time for my questions. Not friendly at all. She was only interested in doing elaborate receding gum treatment, including periodontal surgery and regeneration of bone. I know my daily oral hygiene routine is high quality. I floss and brush my teeth with electric Sonicare brush twice daily. Sometimes after each meal. I learned from my friends she should have measured all pocket depths and submitted the info. to my insurance co. for coverage details and associated cost. She did not do that. Please find other dentists and do your homework. Learn from your friends and family members. Don't waste your time and money on this dentist. read more

Well I can't review the actual dentist(s) since I can't even talk to anyone at the office. So far I have called eight times only to be told hold on.. and after holding each time for 3-4 minutes each time I was disconnected. I then called back two more times and told them please do not put me on hold because we keep getting disconnected and then was just outright hung up on. I called again and said do you want my number to call me back when you have a moment...they just slammed the phone in my ear. So after 12 attempts I am running as fast as I can. I had a tooth that was cracked vertically. The gum was all swollen but the crack could not be seen from the X-rays. Not knowing that it was already broken I wanted to try to save it. Dr. Kaufman was very understanding and patient. He examined the tooth carefully and decided that it was likely broken but understanding my wish to save it he tried a mild solution to ease the discomfort. A few days later the swelling got worse and I went back and this time he was certain that the tooth was cracked (crack still invisible). He explained patiently his reasoning so I could fully understand his conclusion. Also patiently addressed my concerns about the doctor in the office who does extractions (bad Yelp reviews). I felt reassured and make an appointment for extraction, which turned out to be fine, completely painless and very fast. read more

I can not stress enough how absolutely disgusting and horrible the service I received here was just this morning! The most unprofessional, unorganized excuse for staff I have ever seen. Anywhere! As someone who has worked in a medical office and now owns my own business you learn that customer service is the bread and butter - you should be diligent and attentive to your clients. Good luck getting an appointment here. Take weeks to see a doctor. Waiting room is always crowded like a meat house. Girls at the front desk are always yapping on their personal phones. If you're using union insurance opt to pay for premium care and use another dentist. This is bread line service at best. Horrible staff. Rude dentist! It's literally a lottery I have only gotten one dentist that was nice. Every other one looks down their nose at people that are on Medicare. They are disgusting. They did a crown which fell of immediately within a day. They're response was well rinse it with salt water and hope for the best since your appointment is Friday. I came Friday after a huge work emergency and was late to the dental cleaning appointment but was only ten minutes late to the crown where they even told me to put in a permanent crown takes 5 minutes. Absolutely the worst place. Definitely not for pediatric cases. I called to make a first time appointment for my 6 year old daughter and I specified it was for HER the appointment and they said nothing. Went ahead gave me the appointment then the day of they literally waited until the second when the rude dentist "Dr. Jung" was going to inject novocaine in her mouth and realized she was freaking out (like any 6 y/o would) to tell me that "they don't deal with smaller kids like these, who cry and stuff" LIKE WHAT?!?! And the most pathetic part is that after leaving her mouth numb for nothing they are still going ahead and billing my insurance for the exam. Like seriously?! What exam!! You literally just told me that you didn't deal with kids like that AFTER you were so ready to poke her without even letting me know what was about to happen. I just want to say, I am not one to write a review or complain I get that life isn't always roses. I just hope this helps someone else. I wish I had the heads up. I got all 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed one month ago. The morning of, the surgeon came in and looked as though he didn't even wash his face, his scrubs were a ball of wrinkles. My appointment was for 9am I sat and waited an hour (I was told I was his first appointment) as I was sitting there I had a horrible gut feeling that I should have left. I fought my gut and an hour later he came in and didn't say a word to me, shot some sleepy medicine in my arm. Next thing I remember is waking up at my mothers home. She said that she had to practically carry me out of there I was so drugged. I couldn't even walk They shew you out the door the minute you wake up (I've witnessed the same scenario waiting in the waiting room multiple times). Anyway, I wasn't informed about any way to irrigate the Sockets on the post op paperwork or in person before they put me to sleep. I ended up getting dry socket 5 days later I went back and the surgeon said "ohhh Kay" as soon as he examined my mouth. He prescribed me a stronger antibiotic, and a mouth rinse- never cleaned out the socket or anything. I then returned 4 days after finishing the stronger antibiotic because pain is still present. I saw the dentist Dr. Kirshenbaum and he placed socket paste into the hole to combat the rest of dry socket I had. Now I've had it completely. Both times I've been back at the office I see them wheel out patients that are so drugged. I am not the only one who this happened to. Many patients complain every time I am there. One mother couldn't believe that they were wheeling her daughter out in the condition she was in. She said "This place is ghetto" "I'll never come back here again". When I expressed to the dental assistant and surgeon how wrong it is to treat humans like this, and would you want your family members to come here they both responded with "You're right" "We totally get your frustration" I also asked why socket paste wasn't put in my mouth when I came 5 days after the initial surgery day- the surgeon shook his head up and down almost seeming as though he was ashamed that he hadn't done the right thing. I don't understand how anyone would want to even work for this office. I would be so embarrass to be a part of their team. The office is filthy, (yesterday there was a syringe part on the floor) the front desk is filled with younger girls some who look like they haven't even washed their faces or brushed their hair. The conversation is always a hackling unprofessional banter behind the glass. I get every office can't be a great one but I hope by my review I save someone else from the pain, neglect and lack of care this office provides.. it's a shame. I should have listened to my gut and gotten up that morning a month ago. Awful practice. I wouldn't be surprised if they closed down due to the condition of the office and lack of professionalism they have. I wish I could give 10 stars for this office.. On Tuesday the 29th, my daughter saw Dr. Kirshenbaum for the first time. This office was the 4th in a long line of dental visits for my daughter to find help with her complex health issues. Dr. Kirshenbaum understood and provided my daughter with the only help he could offer. He made sure that the surgeon was available for first thing TODAY. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Jordan Jacobson 10-30-19 at 9am. Well I have to say Dr. Jacobson not only listened, he understood the complex health issues my daughter has. See not only is he a Dental Surgeon he is also a Medical Doctor as well. Dr. Jacobson was able start an IV for the procedure ON THE FIRST TRY. My daughter has a Power Port because her veins are not easy to get to. Dr. Jacobson has some very special skills, kind, understanding, listens to his patients, confident and knows what the right thing to do first is. read more

This place is awful!!! Unfortunately we have been patients for years due to insurance restrictions. Our most recent bout was 3 weeks ago. My husband had a toothache and scheduled an emergency visit, they gave him a 4:30 appt and i already knew they wouldnt do the root canal since they close at 5. We were leaving the next day for an out of state trip which he told them about but still the dentist told him "unfortunately i dont do root canal, that dentist is gone for the day". Gave him antibiotic told him to take Tylenol & Motrin TOGETHER every 4 hours. Our trip was to GA for 2 weeks, he said you'll be fine come in when you get back. The pain was so bad 4 days later he was taking my prescribed pain killers with the tylenol and motrin!! We had to travel to a dentist over an hour away to have emergency root canal and had to pay out of pocket! Procedure took 20 minutes and he was no longer in any pain. The staff is rude, always on the phone discussing personal business within earshot of patients (see my goggle review from a couple of years ago). Another review said they are ghetto, and i agree totally! When we first started going there when my kids were little they had one good dentist there and they fired him because he was too nice to the patients used to put videos on for my kids to watch while he worked on their teeth. read more

I got my tooth PULLED today by a doc Jacobson or what ever the monsters name is was I got there he asked me if I wanted to be sedated which I would have to make an appointment for next week I told them no I wanted my tooth pulled today with saying so he seemed disappointed in a little frustrated I'm gathering it was because it was 4:30 and it was 30 minutes until closing which they new days prior that I was coming to get a tooth pulled any way took my tooth a while to get numb and even then still not numb enough So when extraction started he was pull my tooth he was yanking and yanking as I'm yelling it hurts it hurts he still continuing to pry on my tooth frustrated he adds more Novocaine then continue to yank immediately after starting to pull on the tooth again novocaine takes a while to kick in mind u after he seen i was in pain still then decided to take 10 minute break in between after cracking my tooth which is understandable cuz it happens but that the fact that he was getting frustrated with the pain that he was causing me how I wasn't just taking it was very bothering and upsetting he even said that if I don't allow me to continue that he's going to have to leave the tooth in my gum and sew it up with it in after it was all said and out I was almost in tears shaking in pain ima big guy I handle pain very well and and the bozo of an assistant he had she was jamming the suctioner into my tongue gum lip very inexperienced and it's a shame because when I was younger I used to come all the time no complaints back then new renovation horrible oral surgeon and I left I can just sense the eye rolls and talking under their breath as I was walking out -0 thank God it wasnt one of my children back there read more

If you want to be treated like garbage I can highly recommend East Fishkill Dental group. I am a 80 year old man who is suffering with cancer. My union from my former job changed Insurence providers and my former does not accept new insurance . I accidentally broke some teeth on my lower jaw and had to go to East Fishkill who accept my new Insurence. They had to remove all my lower teeth and that is when my troubles began. After I awakened from anesthesia I was hustled out stumbling not fully awake by my wife while the staff laffed like it was a big joke. I was told to comeback in 3 weeks for a fitting for my new teeth. When I came back Dr kirshenbaum told me not to expect teeth for several months. When I told him that any other dentist could get me teeth in 1 week he told me tough that's the way he works and if I did not like it go somewhere else. I pleaded with him to be reasonable but he was cold as ice. I told him try to have a little compassion and reasonable but he just turned away. Fortunately I can afford to go to my old dentist and pay out of pocket to finish replacing my teeth but I feel sorry for the people in his very crowded office who have no choice. Without a doubt he and his whole staff are the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. I am retired from working at a hospital and my wife is retired from being the head manager of a local hip medical facility and we know how to treat people. read more

Stay Away from this place!!! After months of trying to get their process in order, I finally get an appt. The staff was so rude on the phone, and Dr. Camilo wouldn't even take a few moments on the phone to discuss a concern. I guess I realized then that this was not going to end well! But since this was the only place in a 30 mile radius that accepted the insurance, I figured I had no choice. But we always have a choice!! I get there today for my daughters scheduled 10:30 am surgery. The place is dingy and the staff is rude! At around 11:30 I inquire as to why the wait is so long. The staff gets worse! The head receptionist actually compared a tooth extraction with the wait that she had to endure during her child's kidney operation at 4 months old!! Another lady in the waiting room says she was sheduled for 10am and that I would have to wait for her surgery to be completed first!! I ask ithe receptionist if I will be waiting another 2 hours. She says she can not say!! Dr. Camilo then screams form his office, "if you don't like it then leave". Then he comes out and comments "just because you yell at your kids and husband..." What a rude SOB. I walked out. There is no way that someone with that attitude and anger is performing surgery on my child!! I am trying to figure out how I can put in f ormal complaint!!! read more

Absolutely the most unprofessional dentist office I've ever been to! The office has an atmosphere of a high school hippies basement with records and music memorabilia all over the office waiting room and procedure rooms. The waiting room is always packed and never has enough chairs for its patients who are waiting, leaving patients standing and pacing around a crowded waiting room. I once witnessed an almost bar fight over a seat from two fed up patients.Speaking of the waiting room it takes an average of two to three hours in many cases to finally sit in the dentists chair. One dentist in particular Dr. Sunwoo had me so frustrated at one point i literally had to leave before causing a scene in the office. I could tell he was afraid to do a simple extraction procedure that needed to be done immediately. In the end i waited two and a half hours to sit down in the chair and be given every excuse imaginable on why he did not want to touch my tooth. I truly assure you he was making up things in his head to that did not even make common sense. In the end i left that office for the last time in excruciating pain and even more anger with the office staff. I went to Quality Dental on lake walton road the next day, waited 7 mins in their clean updated professional waiting room with the great staff. Dr. Enabi looked at the tooth for 2 mins. Took it out in 10 mins. Sent me on my way. Amazing experience there and would recommend Quality Dental highly.
