There's a change room/washroom off the building so that's really helpful. The water is constantly moving from one end and drains at the other, it's wading level(can't swim this) so just below knees but way over the ankles, there are kids having the greatest time here, people in swim wear and lounging on the beach chairs along the water way, a large shaded pavilion you could picnic on(bring blanket as there looked to be 2 tables). Definitely will be back with water toys for my toddler, and also as an excuse to visit the Maid's Cottage across the park for butter tarts , or grab lunch and drinks at Brew Hops

No admission fees, free parking - bring your own chairs and enjoy the game with the town of Newmarket! They had a drinking section that was gated off - a bar in the back of the event. They had an ice cream truck and a food truck - Sinfully (I think) and the Newmarket Lion Club had stations set up selling drinks and snacks. It was great to see the community come together and show their support for our beloved Raptors. It was so much fun.

Which I find interesting considering pretty confident my tax dollars help pay to allow this facility to function. Also, I'm pretty sure their mandate is to support at risk youth however they did a disservice by not allowing my children to come and making them wait until 6 when older children would be there and I could no long supervise and enjoy family time with them.

York Simcoe AAA teams play here. And and whole bunch of other teams play here too. Two NHL-size pads. Spectators can watch the game in the cold of the rink -- or -- in the warmth of the hallway (then you'd be positioned right behind the home team's net). Hockey is probably the main sport here. I'm sure the ice is used for other sports and recreational activities too. The center also features a swimming pool with a water slide, a childcare centre, and a baseball diamond outside. Ample parking is available to accomodate all the players, their families, and the spectators. When you drop your kid off before the game and have an hour to kill while he or she is getting dressed, there is a new mall with a bunch of stores and food places just on the other side of Leslie closer to Hw404 to help you kill that time with a sense of purpose. We ("we" == my son and his team LOL) usually play well here. So we like to come here.

Facilities includes a 6 lane leisure pool with a slide, Oak Ridges Moraine Eco Centre, a fitness and aerobic studio, a gymnasium and more. There are also various city sponsored programs held year round in the centre. We ended up coming here for one of the Moonlight Movies Night. The set up is perfect utilizing the nature amphitheatre like landscape at the back of the Centre. Watching a movie under the stars on a hot summer night is such a treat!

There are activity and program rooms for multi purposes but from what I have seen, it's mainly used for educational purposes. They have a large swimming pool area with two pools. One for children and the other for adults or the more advanced. The Oak Ridges Community Centre also has an aerobics centre, fitness centre and a gymnasium. It's a really nice community centre. One of the best that I have seen yet. I went there for a Volleyball tournament and probably pick up sports a couple of times. The floors are well maintained and they have relatively high ceilings which is great for certain sports. I would definitely recommend this facility as it is one of the most beautiful community centre that I have seen with a wide range of facilities to utilize. Only problem is there is not really a change room for the gymnasium. Overall a great community centre. Check it out yourself and you will agree. JimStar Out!!

The parking is paid and can be paid for by either the parking meters installed at the park or through the website (the QR code on the meters or use the site https://parkedin.com/?). It's all beautifully laid, you can see people kayaking, rowing, etc. it's a quiet park, I'd say. As you can see, the sunset views are astonishing. I just couldn't take my eyes off of it. All in all, I highly recommend this park for all ages.

Gets very busy on Summer weekends.
