He even designed and installed wainscoting in our foyer and up the staircase wall with expertise and then prepped and stained handrail and painted ballisters, risers , and steps..prepped and repaired cathedral ceilings so that they look like new. We called NYC A1 and the owner, Moe, inspected the damage and pointed out that a leak from beneath the wall-in shower on the floor above had thoroughly saturated the supporting ceiling joist over some period of time. Repair required a partial demolition of the shower above so we decided to bite the bullet and redo that bathroom completely. Moe gave us a fair price and stated the job would take 3 to 4 weeks. I am always dubious of timelines that contractors provide so I assume it would take longer. Moe's capable team showed up three days after I signed the contract. They were very professional, protected the rest of the house from the bulk of the construction with tarps and plastic sheeting, showed up consistently (including on two Saturdays), and worked full days. Long story short, work was completed in three weeks. We are thoroughly delighted with the final products. See photos below. Highly recommended.

Reached out to a few custom closets shops on Yelp and Benny was prompt to come over for an…read morein-person estimate and was super thoughtful and experienced in suggestion of layouts that truly maximizes the space! For one closet, he uniquely recommended hanging rods on the sides (instead of against the back wall) given the closet has a bit of depth to increase both the drawer and hanging rod space available! He worked closely with us to mock up the layout and accommodated suggestions we have based on our storage needs through a few rounds of back and forth. The installation was prompt (another company quoted me a 2-2.5 months for the material order...) and the quality of finish was high. My main tip is if you have existing shelves or hanging rods fixtures inside your closets that are built in and didn't pick options with full backing that will cover them up, to remove those beforehand so you can prep, repair and paint those before closets installation. I would definitely recommend Benny and his price for value + experience seems unbeatable
